SPAM, just as described above. Sad that you can't stop these but I have Mr. Number, which allows me to pick a category for each call that comes in. This one gets categorized 'block caller' and will never reach me again. Good luck everyone...and remember, most people are still good!

try googleing call blocking or we forwarded the txt to 7726 which is the FBI. From there Verizon begins to send you info as to what to do. We ended up applying a call block devise. Good luck

I have received a total of six text messages in the last 24 hours from this number indicating I have won a $1000 gift card from Target. I rarely shop at Target, and certainly did not in the last 30 days.

I want this type of "text messaging" to cease on my cell phone! It woke me at 1:30 AM for a purported Target $1000. winning, which I have NOT entered! I have to pay to receive texts--my plan does not cover them.

I got the same message. It seemed fishy. I haven't done anything with it, so I am glad I looked it up to see that it's a scam.

The same thing happened to me this morning. I recieved the text before 7 am this morning but new it was a scam because I never entered any target contest last month. These texts are stupid and a waste they need to stop. people are just trying to steal others information!

Verizon sold your phone numbers to an advertizing company. That company posted your numbers to another group and now you get these messeges.

I got the same "you won $1000 @ target" text. I never signed up for this and am also on the do not call list. Needless to say I won't be trying to claim this prize.

I received a text message that I won the Target $1,000.00 contest...went to the site and it crashes immediately that there is an error................. I did do a Target Survey last week online......but I would expect a phone call on my landline, not my cell, for which I never gave out. Enough is enough with these calls.....

I got a text saying my entry to something at target won a $1000 gift card.
I started to enter the info, but
hen when i got to the final submitt page it seemed fishy to me and i freaked out and did not submitt.
Worried my info may be out there in the wrong hands now....
