If they want to relieve stress... stop calling!
952-392-4766 2014-03-18 23:37:06 Telemarketer
I received a call from 952-392-4766, they left a voice message asking me to call
1-800-707-2021 for a free "wellness coaching" service from my employer. They
said they were from United Health Care.

Says he's a representative from an insurance company of my job. I advised him that he is s Telemarketer and to stop calling me. He denies being a Telemarketer.
Ben 2013-12-02 22:31:42 Unknown
He claims he's an insurance agent with ABM.
ben 2013-11-26 01:55:27 Unknown
I asked her if she's a telemarketer. She said no. I hung up on her.

This # is indeed an Optum Health Coach. They are permitted to call until 9:00pm CST, but if you request they not call again or after a certain time, they will honor that.
They get information from your medical record and offer various programs to assist in getting you healthier. It is a part of the Population Health initiative where you don't put all of your money into the sick but into those who are still healthy before they get sick. Example: checking your air pressure when it looks low rather than when it's nearly flat.
They also offer these services free of charge and at times can give you discounts toward your premiums or external services (i.e. YMCA membership, Weight Watchers).

In reply to Eric B.
Wow, I try to report information on this number, about people trying to pry personal information out of me, and I get bashed by a child, asking if I am 6 years old? Get a life buddy. VOR was correct, I work night shift, and I was in the middle of taking a nap before reporting to my JOB.
At any rate, I believe the general rule of thumb for sleezebag telemarketers and 3rd party data miners is that it is proper etiquette to place a call BEFORE 7pm. (better if they don't call at all. I'll call them if I feel like volunteering information).
Is it possible that you are the guy on the other end of the line that I unloaded on?? LOL :-)
Carry on.
Eric B 2013-10-02 19:41:17 Unknown
Who goes to bed at 9:00 ?? Are you 6 years old?

They called me at 9pm. They said they were working for my health insurance company, through my work. I asked them if they knew what time it was, because I was sleeping. I told them not to call me anymore. Then they asked me to give them my birth date and street address so they could confirm they contacted the right person. I told them that I do not give that information over the phone, to someone I don't know. They said they need it to make sure they are calling the right person. I told them they don't need that information, and just to never call my phone number again.

I answered but no n was there. Makes no sense.

Received a call from them today askeding for me. My Mom said I wssnt there, that I was at school. The woman then started asking questions about where I was going to school and did it have anything to do with MIT. VERY INAPPROPRIATE & BORDERLINE INVASION OF PRIVACY. Never did find out why she was calling. And I live in Illinois not Minnesota.

I'm glad I looked on this page. I had signed up for the wellness coach through my husband's employer of United Health Care. They are supposed to call me every month to check in on my progress. Now I wish I had answered it.

On what are you basing this assertion?
JCI Employee 2013-06-13 00:09:39 Unknown
This is not a scam, It's a partner of johnson controls incorporated with a wellness coaching program they offer to their employees. You or a family member must have given your number to them. I believe there's a service they offer to non-jci employees as well.

It is a company that works with United Health Care in coaching insured on wellness. I have joined their program because my company has perks if you join. We get 175.00 back per year if we complete the wellness coaching on the phone and the health assessment on UHC website. We also get an extra 250.00 per year added to our flex spending account. So they are a legitimate company and you have to register for the program online to start talking with the wellness coaches. It's a perk offered thru your employer. I would check with your HR dept to see if they offer similar incentives.

This is a legitimate caller from United Healthcare. They are trying to get you to sign up for programs such as stress-relief and quit smoking through your health insurance (likely through your job.) I work for Coca-Cola and have dealt with this. They are extremely persistent, and will not stop calling until you sign up or tell them to stop.

I received a call from this number and thought they may be from my employer (I work for my insurance company.) I read the comments below. Optum Health is a legit company (they are also known as united healthcare). If you or your doctor submitted any abnormal test results to the insurance or if you have a medical condition, they may be following up to offer you services to help with the conditions or to help you in a healthier lifestyle.

Just received another hangup call from this number. They call monthly looking for my wife at MY work number. I have told them several times to bother her at her work.
Santi Marti 2013-04-12 20:10:57 Unknown
Received call but it disconnects after answer.
Nonsense 2013-03-19 20:57:20 Unknown
Where are the facts to back up this nonsense you are spouting?

Received a call on 03/08/13 @ 3:16 PM. I did not answer, they did not leave a voicemail, but from reading these posts, I have United Healthcare, but do not participate in their bogus wellness plan.
I had OptumHealth with my HSA, but switched to a different bank through my employer. OptumHealth better not be calling me.
Dave 2013-03-04 22:01:23 Unknown
I've received a call from this number several times. A couple of times they've left a vmail saying they were a providing a wellness service offered by my company's health care. I do have UHC as several of the prior comments noted, but that was not mentioned in the vmail. I'll have to check with my benefits department and find out if they know about this or not.

They called me today and said it was for wellness and they had my son name and my phone number. I asked if they could take me off the list.

I keep receiving unwanted calls from this number. I asked the caller to quit calling me, to no avail.
Diana 2013-01-22 18:40:04 Unknown
BUT WE DON"T WANT YOUR COMPANIES HELP!!!!!!!!.....and will not give any personal into to them. THIS HARASSMENT MUST STOP. I'll call police if I have to and report this harassment.
Diana 2013-01-22 18:34:53 Unknown
I have exactly same problem. They call about every 2 weeks. When I refuse to give them my personal information they reply that according to Federal regulations they can't remove me from their calling list without it. Last night I completely lost it and demanded to speak with manager. I told her to stop harassing me and for name of the her company, but she immediately replied that she could not give out that information. Yet, they wanted me to give them my birthday and address. I'm calling UnitedHealth today.
Roberta 2013-01-21 23:14:17 Unknown
I've received several calls from them. It's a recording which says my employer is offering me a wellness coach. My employer does not offer such a service. The recording asks you to call 800-707-2021 to schedule a wellness appointment with a coach. Sounds like a telemarketing non-sense.
