I killed his dog because he wouldn't leave me alone. Lives in san los obsipo. Anyone need his address, holler at me. He is around 43 years old, 5'10 skinny and dark hair. Don't be afraid of this guy, people.

Called me asking for someone I don't know. But had my home address.

Mr Woods was just fabulous to work with. He was kind, considerate, and very thoughtful in helping me. I experienced nothing like the previous reports.

received a call from this number today. the man demanded me to tell him where my daughter was. I don't know. he was every nasty and i told him to take my number off his call list as my daughter did live with me and I have not seen her in 2 years. this man was a real a**hole

Jeff woods called my personal cell number looking for my mother. I told him that she does not give out my cell number. I told him that I do not want any more phone calls from this number, he hung up on me. I called back to speak with a supervisor, he told me that he was a supervisor and that I would speak with on and the start to cuss me out over the phone... The man is a jerk... I will be filing a written complain with the bbb in Mn.

Got a call from Nathan from Haster Law in MN. He had even called my parents and my brother who lives 6 hrs away from me looking for my husband over a debt he had with Kay's Jewlers. Not sure if he was trying to scam us I called Kay's and talked to accounting. They transferred me and then that person transferred me and finally I was linked back to Nathan Bode. He was actually very nice to me and we've talked several times trying to clear up the debt. Haster Law is hired on from companys ho haven't been getting payments and have turned it over to an attorneys office to come to a settlement or you could possible be sued for the amt you owe.

I had a missed. Call from this number today saying het name was kimberly an need me to cal s 1-800 # back asap.... I didn't call back ...

GOT A CALL FROM HASTER LAW. THIS WAS LISTED ON MY CALLER ID. THE CALLER DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. I CALLED THE NUMBER AND THE VOICEMAIL SAID IT WAS A TIM COLE. THE PREVIOUS BLOGGERS SAID THIS IS A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY. I AM DEBT FREE AT THE MOMENT SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I RECIEVED A CALL FROM SUCH AN AGENCY.

I had a 15k debt with a bank, and settled for 4.5k with Haster Law Firm, using Greg Barker. So, yes, they are a debt collection/law firm agency...so their goal is to buy uncollectible debts from banks that right off ever hoping to get paid, and try to collect for as much as they can get, so they so far seem to be legit...I went to a bancruptcy lawyer and showed them the letter that Haster Law Firm gave me on if I paid this amount, my debt is abolished, and they said they are a legit company...but yes, greg is a very tenacious bill collector, but I guess they pretty much have to be...if you are polite and work with them, they are nice back...I explained I needed 3-4 months, to come up with the agreed on settlement, and he didnt hassle me in that period, but was right on top of me, when the time I said I would be ready came up...so he does his job well.

anyways, not giving them a thumbs up or down, just saying, they are real and from what another lawyer told me, if you walked away from debt, credit cards, house, car...that someone will continue to find and call you, and eventually will get you to go to court where a judge will garnish your wages, and if you dont work, or dont have a normal job, that eventually...maybe through an IRS tax refund, the courts will get the money, so its better to settle, but you can see what they will take...$4500 from a $15000 debt...so just my 2 cents worth

This man name Jeff Woods calls my cell phone stating he is an attorney from Haster Law Office. Wanted to know how I wanted to handle my loan debt? I didn't quite understand the question. So I asked what do you mean handle my $8000 something debt? He asked if I could pay it or did I want to make payment arrangements? Isn't that what the debt collection agency does or do they do that too? He was rude is a slick way saying all the things that the collections people say about why did you borrow the money if you knew you couldn't pay it back? Your credit report shows that you are making payments towards your other debts so why not this one? Why do you think you can just get money and not have to pay it back? These people never care if you are homeless, dying, been very ill or have had to pay for funerals of love ones. They only want money that you don't have at the time that don't belongs to them. This gives them no right to down talk to anyone or make you feel like crap!

Received a call from 952-540-4781 Jeff Woods.  This guy has a very smart mouth for him to be a so call attorney.  I am in the process of reporting him to BBB.  He called a number that no business is supposed to call.

I just received a call from Nathan Bode stating he was an attorney for Haster Law and was looking for my son and could not contact him. He said he was trying to collect money from a Visa card my son had held through Wells Fargo but had only used once and paid the balance he had charged.
The card has all kinds of charges on it plus late fees and interest fees, but my son never authorized any magazines or services to be charged to this account and did not pay these bills because he did not make the charges. Nathan was very forceful and intimidating to my son who is naieve to all of this and innocently did not order all this stuff nor figured he had to pay for it. 1st time card holder being scammed.
Now thay want over $900 to be paid immediately. Wells Fargo can't/won't help because they sold this account to Absolute Resolutions who turned it over to Haster Law to collect. No one has any specific info to help us discern how these charges originally got on this card and we've been getting a run around...

Apparently this collection company is still up to its old practices of intimidation, hositility, and deception. I am in the middle of composing a cease and desist letter to Mr. Greg Barker because he chose to call me at work (saying he "was returning a call from" me - - I don't think so!) after I made him to stop using my work email address to harass me. He YELLED at me about not speaking with him. Like most people, I did not fall behind on payments on purpose (I was out of work for medical reasons and then returned to work to a job with 15% less pay). I am still working to catch up with many of my bills and will continue to do so, but not with him and not with this so-called law firm. If they contact me again, they WILL be hearing from my attorney.

Folks, please look up the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and educate yourselves against scumbags like this.

Got a call from a Nathan Bode stating he needed to get a message to a person that I don't know and I had been listed as a contact person.

Just got a call from 'Jeff'. He was looking for my father-in-law. I don't know how he got my cell phone#, but if it is for a Collection Agency, that would not surprise me! I don't think the BBB is concerned over issues like this.

Funny how this is all common to everyone else. They called my house looking for my husbands ex-wife. Don't know how he got our number but evryone should start reporting him to BBB for fraud.

Caller calls every day and says he's an attorney wanting to talk to our son in another state.  According to him, our son has to make a decision and if he doesn't hear from him, he will make the decision himself.  He won't identify himself.  Our son doesn't recognize this number and doesn't know anything about it.  Sounds very fishy!!

Similar thing happened to me. A Greg Barker from Haster Law repeatedly called me concerning my son's account. Claimed he  were hired by Best Buy. He said he was an attorney. Called my mom, my cell repeatedly, my home and my work...even asked to talk to my supervisor!!
I reported him & Haster Law to better business bureau and the commision.

Educate yourselves and fight unfair, unethical and even illegal bill collection tactics!

same jeff woods leaves message this time ID' himself as Haster ATTORNEYS... when he called on my cell, he identified himself as being with Haster LAW firm... apparently does not know who he works for.

I received a call from guy at this number saying he was representing a law firm.  He wanted information about an individual I do not know.  This has happened before and I am wondering if it is a type of phone phishing scheme.  I would like to know if anyone else had a call from this number.  This guy also called my son who lives in another state asking about the same person.

I've gotten a call from this Jeff Woods too. Completely unprofessional and just a flat out jerk. Claims he needed my personal banking account info to collect on a debt and that was the ONLY way I could pay. Left the same 800-819-7128 number. If you call it, he answers the phone and just says "Law Firm" when he picks up. I'm not wasting my time with him.

Got a call from Jeff Woods on my cell phone today.  In his message he said this was for my son and he was with Haster Law and for my son to contact him at 800-819-7128. That's all the information he left. I don't know how he got my cell number.

Been getting messages from a Jeff Woods calling from this number.  Says he's from a law firm.  He even called my parents and my step father's unlisted cell phone!!  He asked them if I still worked at a place I worked at 15 years ago ... in another state!  Kinda creepy.

Same #...law office = Haster Law.  On web search, they are MN debt collection & litigation firm.  Left a message saying 'they have a matter to discuss regarding something they were retained for'.

This call was made to my home at 4:42 PM inquiring about a person who I don't know.  I've rec'd these kinds of calls from other numbers inquiring about the same person.  The person usually identifies himself as being from a law firm.  I would like to know if anyone else is receiving calls from this number.
