Received several calls from this number and spoke with a Mr. Jade Nobel of CPC who is trying to contact a relative of mine re: a money matter he can't discuss with me. Is this a legit company??

Theses are fraudulent people....i argue with these people when they call and being 7months pregnant.....and they operate over seas...if i could i would go down there to india....they r sopose to be bright and intellegent people....they r tryimg to make  buck....i called FBI...so we will see what happens

One last thing - if you do win in Small Claims Court you may be able to have the Sheriff seize the assets of the collection agency until they pay the awarded damages if they fail to respond.  Check with your state laws on this.

The practices by this collection agency are in clear violation of FDCPA - the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  If the agency is not a law firm they cannot leave messages or speak to you to make you think they are indeed a law firm.  They cannot use words such as "Officer" when they refer to themselves - this is to fool you into thinking they are law enforcement, this it contrary to the statutes and illegal.  Debt is a CIVIL issue, NOT a criminal issue - DO NOT BE FOOLED, law enforcement will not go after you for a debt.  You can file a suit against them in small claims court - they will either have to appear to defend the suit (unlikely if you have the suitable proof of the FDCPA violation(s)), esp. if you are out of state.  Get affidavits from the people who were contacted by this guy and have them spell out exactly what he said to them, record the messages he leaves and transcribe them, and most importantly, start here - a simple guide to making them validate the debt in the first place (not my content, just found it).  Oh, find out if your state requires that collectors be licensed to practice (even some cities will require this, such as NYC).  If they are not licensed to practice in your state they are SOL.  Good luck.

his new name is joe noble and he is a smart a** who has been calling my cell phone and me at work for a few days. he wont say what he wants or anything other than his "name" and he is from cbc

I had this happen today. They called my father asking about myself. The name was an "Officer Adam S." who left the message on the answering machine. Again I don't use my father as a reference nor do I give out my parent's phone number. However they do have my middle name incorrect.

Just to clear up the content of the former message....Jade Nobles or Noble whatever is the one who said I had been put down as a point of contact, not my ex-husband...as far as I know neither my ex-husband nor his bimbo had my phone number...Jade Noble or Nobles not sure which also said they found my info by investigating me.

This guy Jade Nobles just called me asking me about my ex-husband...Now him and I have been divorced for 15 yrs.  So I called my ex and gave him the 1-800-507-1447 number he gave me.  When I asked him why he was calling me he said I had been put down as a point of contact...I don't know by whom being that neither my ex-husband nor his supposed girlfriend had my number and he said that sometimes they find these things out when investigating...The investigation pulls up all relatives and occasionally ex wives every once in a while.

I receive a call from Jade Noble of CPC.  He was looking for my son and through out a few personal data I suppose to legitimaze that he know my son such as where he works and that I am his parent.  He refused to let me know what CPC stands for and the nature of his call.  I simply told him that I would pass on the information but I really do not want to receive anymore of his calls. My son is an adult and can handle his own affairs without my intervention.  He is a responsible person and I am sure will make himself available to any legitimate business person.  He would not use his parents as a shield in handling any legitimate business.

I, too received a call from Jade Noble (952-582-6070). Jade apparently looking for one of my kids and having found them, accused ME of fraudulantly opening a charge account in my child's name. Perhaps Jade's mother would do something like this thus the reason for his hostility & unprofessional demeanor. Jade shouldnt have said such a thing. I do believe it is illegal to tell lies in order to collect a debt. Jade, is a naughty naughty BOY!  What a way to earn a living.

Jade Noble, Elizabeth Nelson and a guy named James has called my house 4 times now looking for my
son in law and said until i have him call them that they will keep calling me. I have requested everytime they call to have my number removed from there list and they said that will not accomplish anything. I told them i will give my son in law the message but i can not make him call them.
They said he gave them my number for a contact and he said he did not.  
Now i have to keep getting these annoying, rude and bothersome calls.  These people are very unprofessional and get my blood pressure up.

This Jade Noble guy from CPC at 952-582-6070 has left a few messages on our home machine, but now has been harassing people that we know, telling them that we used them as a reference and that they must get us to call CPC back immediately.  Attorneys are trying to resolve a serious matter and must reach us right away.  When my friend asked if he was an attorney, he said he represented the group and wouldn't give any further info.  In our case, CPC is the most recent collections "company."  Stoneleigh Recovery Associates purchased the rights to this charge off and then CPC started calling on it.  They may be one in the same company.  Oh, and we didn't use our friends as a "reference" for that or any credit card!

He is Jade Noble, a real a-hole, very threatening and not nice at all, calls me at work harassing me and threatening to take legal action blah blah blah.....wish he would leave me alone. He had some other guy calling me, a Mr. Campbell, tried to tell me there was a bank in my town, when there wasnt, Ive been living here for 4 years, I think I would know where my bank was. Jack-off.

Terrible man, threatened me, cause I would not give him the information on a person he was asking about. Tried to say that I would be responsible...a real jerk.

Jack Noble has Left messages saying he's calling from CPC.  When I returned his call he refused to tell me what he was calling about...asked if I could call him later in the afternoon.

Got a call from Jake Noble, caller id says Cpc.  Other than name he refused to ID who he represented insisting I id myself first.  Looking for someone who does not live here.  I hung up and he immediately called back again upset that I hung up on him... still refusing to id who he represented.  He then threatened that because 'I' refused to id myself I would bring any consequences down on myself.  The call back number says it's been disconnected or is no longer in service.  Call originated in Minneapolis, MN.

I received a call from 952 582 6070.  Mssg left on voice mail.  I'D himself as Jade Noble at CPC.
