I got a call the other dy from 404 400 1216 the Robo call voice call said,  
             Is Wayne There

  I did not answer, and the call came in again 2 minutes later, and did the same thing, it ask
                        Is Wayne there

 So I added this number to my Call Blocker Pro and when this number calls, it drops it even before it rings, its a great device to block unwanted calls,

           And today, a call came in from 954 204 0196
       and it was same voice Saying

                Is wayne there

    So Blocked this number also...  These Scammers are really getting good at ther method of routing there call as to where they are coming from..

 so my advice is if you get a lot of these type calls buy one of these  Call Blocker Pro Devices like I have go to this site and read all about it

I forgot to block this caller. They call a few time every month.

These jerks robo-call my unlisted number, they lie in the caller ID name field, putting in just the letter "I", then, no matter what I do the machine hangs up on me.  I'm really pissed because I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry and they obviously aren't paying any attention to that.  I can't get a human on the phone to take me off their damn list!

called twice 11:35 and 12:50 PM EDT, caller ID "I", left no message

3rd call and time to block them.

I didn't answer. Based on the telemarketer 's getting 90% of $12 why bother giving the charity anything. Why not ask for $22 and split it 50/50. The telemarketer still gets their $11 and the charity would get $11.

They called me today. I got 2 calls earlier for Nassau County PBA. I just ignore any callers I don't know and then check and report here.

I usually let my answering machine take it, but this time I just picked it up and then hung up.

Hey everyone, i been recieving these calls for about a week now, i finally answered and it was the same exact as you all posted about the police fund etc...he got down to asking if i could donate 12$ i said i cant right now he said " thats okay maybe next time"...i think this is a big scam..did anyone contact the news station?

This number has called 3 times today.  As above, the ID shows CHARITY.  First 2 times, no one appeared to be there.  The third time, I said "hello".  Voice came on and asked for me by name, I said "this is she".  No response so I hung up.  We have had these calls before and are getting really tired of them.  

This number ID shows CHARITY and keep calling my home phone around 9.30am almost every morning. We didn't answer this number at first, but it keeps bother us. So we answered then they hung up. We're going to block this number from now on. It's very disturb our morning.

This number has appeared on Caller ID at least six times in the last week; we never answer numbers we don't know.  

Get Caller ID and screen out calls from names, numbers, places you don't know.  Everyone who answers and/or calls them back just reinforces their behavior.  Call blocking may discourage them for that particular call but they use robo dialers which don't care and they keep calling as long as you encourage them to continue with their game.  Complaints to DO NOT CALL or states attorney generals, even the FCC will not help.  They have so many complaints from so many people about so many numbers, they could not do you any good even if they wanted to.  Worst you can do is respond and vent; then they know they've got a live one and they will continue........That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Called at 09:00, on the morning of Christmas Eve!  I did not recognize the number and it did not show an ID so I did not answer.  Voice Mail on speaker came on and a man's voice asked for me by first name!  Just left a message asking if I was in, by name.  They have called before several times, always close to holidays and when I told them my local police told me to ignore them because they were a scam, they hung up.  I think I am going to report them to police.

This one's slick, the solicitor was well rehearsed and didn't deviate from his script until I offered resistance. Following is the transcript of the conversation...

<me> Hello?
<solicitor> Is John there?
<me>  Speaking.

<solicitor> This is Rick Neal calling on behalf of National Police and Trooper Association. This call may be monitored for quality control. The reason for my call is each year over a hunderd law enforcement officers are killed in the line of duty in the US and the NPTA has just kicked off their fund drive. As a paid solicitor with area services I'm going to be sending you the new Active Supporter decal. Please display it in the rear window of your vehicle to show your great support to these officers. Now as a special project of the International Union of Police Association, one of the goals of the drive is to provide immediate assistance to the families of the member officers who were killed in the line of duty. And when you receive your pledge kit and decal, can the officers count on your support? Uh, can they count on your support and send that to you?

<me> Well, it sounds like a worthy cause. If I donate...

<solicitor> Every little bit goes a long way, uh huh.

<me> If I donate, what portion of my donation actually goes to help fallen police officer families?

<solicitor> Well the National Police and Trooper Association a special project of the IUPA is guaranteed 10% of the total gross receipt from the fund raising drive. We just want to make sure the National Police and Trooper Association can count on your support of $12 this year and send a new supporter decal to you. Is that ok?

<me> How much did you say? $12?
