Yeah, I got the same call but twice it was from a google phone and then it was from the 954 number. I am in the Navy and am aware that this is an onging fraud scam that Navy Legal told me to be aware of. The Commander said that this scam has been going on for a long time and that they like to target military personell. They actually get your social in one way or another and then they do a credit check. After they obtain that, they pretty know everything you owe if you have bad credit and unpaid bills. I am working on my credit now so that the next time they call me. One more thing, they get scared if you threaten to report them to the FBI, NCIS, or any other criminal investigative service branch. I used NCIS because I am in the Navy and they would most likely be the ones to investigate it if it becomes a big problem. I hope that this info helped. It sure as hell helped me when I went to Navy Legal Counseling.

Also, be very careful...they are VERY good at mentioning things that only you might know like social security number, or someone you know that you supoposedly added as a reference...or family members-just to get you to pay right away.  Don't get a greendot card or do Western Union...don't pay AT ALL!  Please...don't fall for any of it.  The police can only get involved if money changes hands and you lose money to these scam artists.  And once your money is gone, it's almost impossible to get it back.  Any of it.  But call the police anyway and report the number and anything they say to you.  At least they can track it and if they get enough callers botered by this they WILL act accordingly to stop it.

SCAM...and yes, a very believeable one too...Do NOT believe the crap they are pulling.  I live in Florida and kept getting calls from this number.  It is a scam and they have no authority to do anything to you OR COLLECT ANY MONEY.  If you feel it is a legitimate situation where they make you think you MUST pay, ask them to send you somethig in the MAIL...but NOT EMAIL...anyone can make a believable website and sent out fake emails.  INSIST on an ACTUAL letter in ther mail.  When they refuse...like they will...tell them you are calling the police.  The number is fake too that they call from...they can put any number in and make you believe who they are.  Don't fall for it please.  Call the police where you live and report the number.  Shut these b*****ds down for good.  If you REALLY pwed money, they wouldn't send anyone to have you arrested...because THEy CAN'T.  They would send a process server to your job or house to have you appear in court about the debt if it's a real situation...but NO ONE can arrest you if you owe money without taking you to court first.

So what are we going to do. I have called local law enforcement, my bank and re registered on the do not call registry. They called a few minutes ago and I asked him for his SS# and told him the law was coming ifoi r him. But I'm getting tired of checking caller id all the time and I have turned my voice mail off.

Al SMith keeping calling twice and say "LAW FIRM" he said suing me.. I told him SCAM and what did he want.. I hang up.... when you see the phone number dont answer it...

This to has happened to me I was contacted by this number 954-239-3588 they have told me they are from America Payday Cash loans. They won't give me any information on their company and are very abusive and threaten to arrest me in the next 44 hours. My next step is to contact my local police department and report this scam. Don't give out any information to these people.

Thanks everyone for the info. My friend just got a voicemail from an Indian-sounding voice at this number, saying the same about an investigating team being sent to my employer, be ready to face the legal consequences, etc, etc.

Same thing and they are calling me from multiple numbers which leads me to believe they may have hacked phones or something because the number show up as CA, FL, and GA.  The first guy that called his accent was so thick that I couldnt understand him and the second guy still had a thick accent but I was able to understand him at least.  Said the police were going to show up at my work and arrest me (they are calling my personal and work phone).  No police ever came.  Only thing I can figure is they snagged my info off some online forms I filled out looking for a loan a few weeks ago.  I'm just going to ignore them.  Ive looked into lodging complaints with the FBI but havent had any luck.  These people are just slime.

Got a call from this Indian guy who scared my wife, saying he's an "officer Sam Taylor" and that there is a lawsuit against her and that she owes money and all he can do if she doesn't pay is wish her luck. He called again the next day and she gave me the phone. I hear him say "why are you yelling," and "are you a human or an animal?". I asked "who are you?" and he answered back "who are YOU?" This went on awhile then I told him he was a MF and he started talking in some other language, so I cursed him out in an Indian accent and told him his ancestors were dogs and that Shiva was going to s*#t on his head...I hope he callsback so I can ridicule him some more...

they keep calling me today all day!! saying that they are OFFICERS,,and They have a case against me and my social security #  I CANNOT EVEN UNDERSTAND THEM.

I'm receiving the same call for the past week now and I keep sending them straight to voicemail. Michele Jones and William indian sounded people saying they sueing me for no particular reason. I'm just going to leep ignoring the phone call till they stop

I keep on getting these phone call from Indian whose names are Michelle Jones and William Lee. Huh!  they're Indian!  anyway, they're saying I'm being sued and that I need an attorney.  Called the police dept they couldn't do anything about it because it's out of the country.  IGNORE THE PHONE CALL.  They probably want money. DO NOT FALL FOR SCAM!!!!!
