I answered the call this time. An Indian gentleman answered and said that my number had been selected for a prize of a 4 night stay some where or something like that. I just hung up. I hope they don't call back.

This is just the latest number calling my phone over the last 4 days. Your number must get passed from scam to scam. In the last 4 days I've had about 150 calls from 15 or so different numbers. My solution is to forward the call to my own number which comes up busy to the caller after 5 rings as the call tries to go to voicemail. This solution may not be convenient for everyone, especially if you rely on your voicemail.
It's working for me, though, and today the number of calls has dropped to only 5 so I'm hoping that my number will "run its course" and these a***oles will move on to a new set of phones.

A call from this number was answered by my answering machine about a half hour ago and the woman who left half a message sounded Indian and from what I caught it was some sort of service call. I figured its a scam. I live in So. California and have no reason to have a FL number calling my home.

3 calls from this number within about 8 hours. Different people each time I answered. First time was an Indian man, 2nd time was an Australian man. The third time I didn't answer. Calling from "Vacation Services". I'm pretty sure they obtained my phone number (Las Vegas) from the Target security breech.

In live in California but I kept getting this call from Florida, so I decided to answer it randomly today and the guy claimed he was calling from California and that there must be some sort of technical issue, however he sounded like he had an Indian accent, as from the country of India in Asia. He tried to say I had won some sort of VIP something or other and that I could go get something if I went to some city nearby me, but I have a hard time understanding people with accents so I couldn't hear every word and have no idea what it was.
