I got a call from the above no. I don't recognize the number and I would like to know who's calling.

These people are lucky - a class action lawsuit would stop them. I'm with LBESQ above you not only should report this to your state Attorneys office but aslo the FCC.  If enough complaints are received by the FCC trust me they will get involvedand stop it.  But the best way if you have the money is to go after them personally.  A thousand dollars is your max award but atleast in a lawsuit you can stipulate that your name or information can not be sold.  You can stop these people from calling but you can't stop them from selling whatever information they have and then it starts all over agan.

I'm in Canada too, and also getting multiple calls a day on my land line.

Answered the phone, pleasant young lady asks for me by name, answered in the afirmative. Said they had gotten my name as someone who would be interested in making money at home. Told them no...    but wait wouldn't I like to make money from people just using their credit/debit cards?  NO, please take me off your calling list.
Can not ever recall clicking on anything that would indicate that I would like to "earn" money from home. Could not tell you if it is a scam, but next time they will be reported to Attorney General of my Home state for investigation.

Can someone please stop this number from calling my cell number - I believe there is a law prohibiting unsolicted calls especally to cell phones. This is harrassment to the fullest extent.

I am truly sick of picking up my cell phone to see these morons calling yet again, at a rate of twice a day at least. How do we stop them?

I have been getting calls from this #. Why I don't know why. If it is for school, I am not interested. When I try to call them back, it is the wrong # & to try & call back again. I just want them to stop calling me.

These a***s wont stop hanging up on me, they asked for me by name one time now I get several calls a day and this is a front phone number it has to be blocked by your phone carrier, it looks like a mulitple scammer dont answer any questions if your lucky enough not to get hung up on five times a day

954-282-5490 calls on a daily basis but never any one there when we answer the phone. Tried to call the number but told that number is no longer in service. My phone service provider wants money per month to block them out. If you go on 411 on the intenet it does not tell you who the numbers owner is. Does anyone know how to block the number?

2 or 3 calls every day.  Can I block it?

I keep getting calls from 9542825490 that leaves no messages and when I call back it won't connect.

They called and asked for Mike when I told them he was in the shower they hung up but when I called back the number is disconnected???????

I get a call from this number at least twice a day.  I don't pick up, however the ringing wakes up grandchildren that I care for.  So annoying!  They never leave a message.  I want it to stop.

Now I'm getting calls, but not answering.  Next time I'll have to answer in order for them to stop.

Solution:

FORWARD all these calls to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

they never leave A message and if you call it back it tells you that the number that you have called is not in service they adverage about 10 calls a day

Here is who it is and their real #. Call send messages turn them into ALL do not call list for violating our right to privacy.

These d****eads have been calling me 4 or 5 times daily. Not sure if you can block a landline. You fine folks in Florida should report these pinheads!!

I receive a call from 954-282-5490 at least once a week.  I did some research...This company is located in Coral Springs, FL.  Intermedia Communications is a telemarketing group and the number in which they call from is a landline.

I get calls from this number on a daily basis.  It is annoying and frustrating. I no longer pick up the calls because it is my cell phone and it costs me minutes.

They were calling me too. Same story, weird noises in the background if anyone was there at all. Last time I answered, he asked for me by name, I replied "no, I liked his phone so much I killed him and took the phone" then hung up.

They haven't called back since. That was 4 days ago.
