I have tried to get thru to the right party for Bank Atlantic and when I eventually did to manage my clients pressing concern, I had the privilege of being treated professionally at all times and eventually brought to a happy ending for all. It became challenging at times and did take a little longer than anticipated but I was treated respectfully at all times, which is a rarity ni collection agencies.

Bank Atlantic and Broward Adjustment are engaging in illegal collection tactics.  I have a short sale pending and BROWARD ADJUSTMENT on behalf of BANK ATLANTIC is insisting that I pay them funds illegally by not letting the 1st lender know about it. If I do not agree to this they will not let the sale go through. If I do as they ask I can be prosecuted for fraud.  ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE?

Received a call from this number. This person was asking me for my mother who passed away 3 weeks ago.  He wanted to know information about who her husband was.  He also provided me with a "case number" and said that my father needs to call as soon as possible.  He didn't want to provide me any other info.

Guess what Robert Montejo, you put your pants on just like me, just like the 483 other people you have to call in less than 30 days who are also delinquent on their obligations – be thankful that you have a job, even though it’s not the most glamorous job out there.  No need to make an a** of yourself or Broward Adjustment Services.

How about everyone tries something new and PAYS THEIR DAMN BILLS !!!! One point though is that Jackson South has made a lot of errors with insurance. If that is the case then the collection agency can be your ally in resolving said medical bills. Think about it --why try and brow beat patients when we all know insurance companies have money.

They have called me on my cell at about the same time in the morning several times (about 6 times) and I picked up and they would never answer. This time I got the please hold message and an agent answered promptly. She identified the company as Broward Adjustment Services and said she represents Jackson Hospital from Miami. She told me the amount of a recent ER bill and asked how I was going to pay it. She asked if I was going to use Credit, Debit, or Check. I told her I was going to call the hospital and she said ok and the call ended.

It is BROWARD ADJUSTMENT SERVICES.  A collections Company.

Found the same results. It appears that Jackson South has a habit of forgetting to submit to the insurance company, and then trying to bully you into payment for their errors.

Looks like many lawsuits being filed against BAS. When I notified BAS in writing to stop calling me 3-6 times a day, they stopped the "please hold" message, and only played evil opera music.

I will keep a log for the next 30 days to see if they stop as required by law.

They claim to be a collection agency. Robert Gomez is a supervisor playing the bad cop roll with a belittling attitude. They claim to send information about what is owed them. I have never seen anything. Then the threats of litigation and manhood are the Gomez's tactics to infuriate. It works. I want to show up at his door step and challenge my manhood face to face. I have the address, it may just happen one day.

Received a call at 8:29am on 6/1/10 from 200-297-8713. I.D.'s them selves as Broward Adjustment Services and told me I was being sent to collection by U of Miami Med Ctr for unpaid invoice of $300 for services dating back to July, 2008.  I told them I had sent Certified Letter Return Receipt to Med Ctr with attachments which I felt show invoice has been paid.  Have received no response (letter was received by Med Ctr) but have received another invoice.  They asked that I send them copies of my correspondence.  Because of recent South Florida Medicare Fraud publicity I intend to turn matter over to Medicare and probably Florida Atty General to determine if fraud exists unless matter is cleared up to my satisfaction and that if proven I owe the invoice I will be happy to pay it but want written confirmation that my Credit Rating has not been negatively affected.  Interested to see if this matter is cleared up.  Will call Broward Adjustment Services this am and advise them I will not be in with copies of correspondence and what I plan to do.

I too receive many calls from them.  They seem a little shady??? Don't know for sure what's up with this company????  I just called them to make my first  payment and they gave me a P.O. Box #.  I do have an outstanding bill which was my co-payment for Jackson South Hospital and they said they are the ones handling it for me. I made a down payment and the balance will be paid off with monthly payments.   I'll call back and ask for a street address and see what they say.

I just called Broward Adjustment Services to ask for their address so that I could send a payment to them.  They gave a P.O. Box 11879, Ft.Lauderdale, Florida 33339.  They call me all the time and I am not behind in paying them.  The last time they called me was last week and I asked them "why do you call me all the time"?  I have not avoided paying my bill but they continue to call me.  They are a real pain.

I too received a call from Broward Adjustment Services (AT NIGHT).  When I asked the woman's name, she said "Janet".  The reason I decided to investigate the name of this company online was due to the fact that she sounded very strange, unprofessional and even threatening and scary.

I also get calls daily fron this phone number and they always hang up after a couple of rings or when you answer. I never call them back, I have heard of scams were you get phone calls and when you call back they get your info.

When these people call you and you pick up the phone the msg. says thank you for holding...all of our agents are busy at this time.  They called back in the evening.  I missed the call. So I called them back to see who they were. They were looking for a friend of mine but would not tell me why. So I put their number into my Browser to see what I could find.  Seems like they are quite a nuisance.

You are right.  When I contacted them back they said they were from Broward Adjustment Services very quickly.  I then asked them what line of business they were in and they told me that I needed to give them my number first.  I then told them no, and in order to proceed with the conversation they would have to tell me their line of business and the purpose of their call.

They simply refused to say anything else and hung up the phone.  It sounded like an illegal data gathering campaign for personal and business phone numbers.

THEY STOP. EVEN HAD MIAMI HOSPITAL CALL, SEEMS THAT FOLKS HAVE HACKED AND INFILTRATED IN THEIR SYSTEMS AND STOLEN FOLKS INDENTITY AND INFORMATION. THIS GETS TIRING AND MINUTES ARE EXPENSIVE W/O PLAN!!! THESE CALLEIOUS ARE FOREIGNERS AND NON CAUCACION.  TOLD THEM THAT 1,000. TO 10,000. THEY AND THEIR COMPANYS GOING TO PAY, TOLD THEM FDC.....JUST LIKE SPEAKING WITH A CALLEIOUS STATUE!!!! MY NUMBERS ARE 24/7 BLOCKED. THEY SEEM TO THINK I'M STUPID!!!!! TOLD THIS 1 FEMALE TEN MINUTES AGO, I'M CALLING STATE ATTORNEYS OFFICE AND WILL ALSO, GO AHEAD AND SUE THEM. NO FEELINGS OF HUMANITY FROM THEM.
