I also got the exact same text everybody received!! Im not calling. It appears to me the message is sent via a some kind of mass webmailer or someting cuz the sender was a 5 digit number 417-82. and the 954-315-2669 was listed inside the message body of txt msg.

It is most likely a third party company that smoking everywhere shares info with. I ordered the cigarette and canceled before it shipped when i found out the price. I have been getting the constant phone call follow-ups and hang-ups as well. To the people that haven't looked at that site though, these shady e-companies share your info with a lot of the same mass e-marketers. That is most likely what is going on. By the way, it is 3:45AM and I just got this text. Absurd and poor advertising.

3:20 AM!  Luckily I'm awake working on something, otherwise the peeping of my text alert would have woken me up.  (I can't believe there aren't laws against sending communication at such an inappropriate hour).

I ordered their product in September.  3 weeks later, I still had not received it... when I called to inquire- they said it had not been shipped yet (and that they sent me an email with instructions to call- which I later found in my junk mail folder), because they were waiting of me to comfirm my age and address on the phone.

Although I had no intension to send it back (so I didn't care about the "free trial" aspect)..... I was extremely mad about the deceptiveness of the advertised "free offer".

I was using this to quit smoking, so I told them I wanted it to me a one time order, with no follow-up auto-shipments.  Well, 3 days ago I receive a package with additional cartridges and a receipt.  (So I now have to waste time straighting that out).

*Any suggestions on how to hold them accountable, or make them stop, their fradulent "free offer" scheme?  

Because apparently, people very rarely (if) ever, receive the product within two weeks of ordering.  Which essentially makes it fradulent advertising (And I would guess this is a stated  practice within their company, as there have to be shipping protocols).

Also, It seems like the free offer text, is a continuation of this "mail after 2 weeks" scheme.

I too got the text at 226 a.m. last nite, and I too was an e-cigarette buyer.  Once I got it, it wouldn't work after about 3 days despite trying another cartridge, charging, etc so I sent it all back.  Not only had they charged my card for the $100, they added an add'l $49!!!!  When I called them to see what that charge was for, they said it was for something I NEVER ordered and I told them I needed it deleted.  So far 2 emails that 'implies' I will get my $49 credited, but based on all I've seen here, I'm betting I'll have a great time disputing!

got the same text about at cristmas gift at 0130 in the morning. I have no intention of calling the number back. and i strongly urge evryone to not answer the text it is  no doubt a scam. I did not order anything and i still got the text. FYI DO NOT ANSWER IT OR CALL BACK!!!!!!!!

i looked called for the smokeless cig two months ago and declined because they told me it was real cheap and it wasnt. i just got this message this morning.

I got the same text last night.. I was looking into the e cig thing but I'm glad I read that they try charging you money.... and anyone trying to pass it off as a christmas gift or something to trick you so you call... dont do business with someone like that.. theyre already being misleading before they even show you the product.

They have all ready charged my credit card $49 for something I never ordered.
I told them several time to put my number on the do not call list and credit my account.
This needs to stop.  I did not call back checked Google for information!

Just did the STOP message and they said I was off the list.  I will wait and see, thanks for the heads up on that advise.

Got the same text, i didnt call it.  But now that i read the other texts.  I get emails from smoking everywhere, so must just be a new form of spam. woohoo, cell phone spam.. what next?

You can reply "stop" to the message, and it will unsubscribe you.

I keep getting texts from 417-82 also, only the messages say they are from Zoosk.  I texted 'unsubscribe' and it didn't work.  I hate this crap!  Why can't anyone catch these people!???  At&T doesn't have a feature to block unwanted calls and texts, nor do I get free incoming texts and calls.  This is getting very expensive!

I had no clue who had sent the text. Of course I did NOT call the number. I NEVER call a number beginning with a 9. No way, no how.

The cig was a complete ripoff and getting your money back is impossible I guess. They took it out of my bank acct., which I subsequently emptied, and have never returned it though I did send the product back.

Its from Smoking Everywhere an electronic cigg company... I would suggest replying to the text message stop remove me, and they SHOULD take you off the list.

I received the same text about a gift AT 4 A.M. Christmas Eve morning! And yes I checked out that same smokeless cigarette ad on the internet

I got this text 3 times. I called from a landline today to find out why I got this text and the lady said I probably received this text in error and just hung up on me. WTF? This is annoying. We have to pay for premium text messages.

By the way.. I AM a Quitter.. But don't know how they got my phone number.  This company is Called ' SMOKINGEVERYWHERE.COM ' They do have a true e-Cig.. IN fact THAT's who I bought my FIRST e-cig from.  Then I found out about the EXCESSIVE COST...  I dumped them  and found TotallyWicked-eliquid.com  Which is a true and honest company. Not Rip Off Artists...    The bad thing about SmokingEverywhere is.. they use ALL KINDS of TRICKS to get customers.. such as this phone number we are all receiving.  Don't call it ... it's a waste of time AND maybe MONEY.  If yOU really want to quit.. and it was easy for me after 36 Years of Salem Lights.. 2plus packs a day.. search Google.. and compare.  TotallyWicked is a great company.. and Customer Care.. I hope SMOKINGEVERYWHERE shoots themselves in the foot on this Scam LOL
