Both my wife and I got the exact same message word for word as the ones showing up on here, and IT'S A SCAM!!!  No lawyer would represent themselves in this fashion and they would have no reason to message you regarding your Social Security number.  

This Zimmerman guy is a total fraud.

Best action to take, is to pull your credit report to review all of your information to make sure everything is on the up and up.  From there, contact the credit bureaus letting them know your information may be breached as a precautionary measure.

They're merely doing this to get your personal information (i.e. SSN, account numbers, drivers license, etc)

They called me and said they had me as being associated with my twin brothers ex-wife (for 10 years} ex-husband, who is absoluteness no relation to anyone in my family. The first guy I spoke with was rude and kept hanging up on me(addressing me as "bro").Finally I got someone on line who was professional enough to tell me what the call was about. I only had to ask them whose name was attached to my phone number. So they are bill collectors.You are just guilty by association, if you ever knew someone who owes money. I told them to take my phone number off the list. They agreed to do so, but it's yet to be seen.

I just received a phone call on my cell (message) from a David Zimmerman with Gregory Adams and Associates informing me of a pending legal action against my Social Security Number.  I was told to call back to avoid problems because I am a "person of interest."   The message was intimidating, but I immediately looked up the phone number and data....Lo and behold, many others have received the same scam!  Watch out!

It's a debt collector, they had the wrong number and I told them that the person they were asking for does not own this number. They said they will remove number.

I got a call today on a Saturday, from this same number at 2:46.  Caller I.D. says Florida Call.

They called me several times this morning...

I received a message today from the number of 954345 4718. I too received the same messages as all of you.

Same Call... Must be a scam.... Thanks for posting everyone... glad we are protecting each other.

Noting the timing of everyone else's comments, this must be a brand new scam. Same message as everyone else.

The first clue should be the wording - doesn't even make sense - "allegations being filed out of my office"?  C'mon!!  No legit attorney's office speaks like that!!  I still find it hard to believe that in this day and time people are still willing to give a COMPLETE STRANGER who calls on the phone their personal information!  Has everyone's common sense gone completely out the window???

Just got a call from David Zimmerman stating i was  a person of intrest.  Same as everyone else, glad i didn't return the call.

Same CALL  from  a.k.a. "Zimmerman" re: my Social Security Number.

Same message verbatim, but the phone number was a different state.  Absolutely positive it is a scam, never even said my name.

I got one from this number too same guy same stuff got it today its oddd our caller id says benton county. very odd indeed. i see stuff all over th net about the law firm they supposedly say they are from

I?ve been getting phone calls from Greg Adams and Associates.   Good afternoon, this is David Zimmerman, representing the firm of Gregory Adams and Associates. I?m calling in regards to allegations that are being filed out of my office attached to your social security number. At this point in time, you are a person of interest, however, if I do not hear from yourself or some type of representing counsel, I will have to file this out as willful evasion and proceed in favor of the client. Caller ID says AFG Associates.  Googled company and found this is a scam to get personal information from you when you call.  Some have said payday loan and old debt or bad check collection.  I have never had a payday loan.  Do not have any credit cards.  I checked my credit report and have no outstanding accounts and no new accounts.  
DO NOT CALL BACK.  People have stated that is how they get your name, address and financial information.

Just got a call from the same number, he left a voice message saying the same thing, saying allegations that are attached to my social security number.  I have no idea what this is about.  Is this some kind of scam?  The message did not say who they are trying to reach.   When I called back I got a answering machine.  I owe no one anything.

I just got a call from the same number just now and left a voice message saying that he fall out of some allegations that are attached my social security number etc etc.. I am not sure what he is talking about.. He mentioned his name as David Zimmerman.. Is this a fake call?

I also received call from Zimmerman fellow. When I called back for him another guy took the call. Didn't know attorneys at a law firm share all cases with each other. Never could this guy get me Zimmerman. Well he pretty much told me word for word what I have read from other posters. They must have the phone message hanging all a wall so they can all read from it. Lol. Anyway if they threaten you by law they can no longer make an attempt to collect for it is now harrasment.
