tough s*** jeff's boss. try not lying to your potential clients. try being up front. try realizing your "business model" is unoriginal because firms like mine get up to 20 calls a day from telemarketers. if everyone of you leeches speak with the boss, are you all willing to cover his hourly rate, instead of actual clients?
quit your whining you little bi*** and start a real business that actually provides a WANTED service.

It is Digital Age Marketing Group, apparently they have quite the reputation for aggressive telemarketing!

Guy called from this number trying (I believe) to solicit lawyers to pay for referrals for criminal cases. Sorry Dude, we're busy enough without your intrusion.

man named jeff slavin called and he is extremely rude
Mary 2011-06-06 21:08:03 Unknown
I called him back and told him to Google his phone number so he could see what people are saying about him.
The Screener 2011-06-06 21:08:03 Unknown
Jeff Slavin called looking to HIRE a criminal attorney. I asked him what kind of case he had and he said he'd prefer to speak to the attorney only. The name rang a bell, he had called several months ago and he had done the same thing except he caught me before my morning coffee so the message went through to my boss.
My boss did the googling & let me know this guy is a solicitor & not to be fooled again.
Jeff your name & ph# is taped to the top of my monitor & your messages go in the circular file.
Stop wasting your time and mine by misrepresenting yourself as a potential client.

He just called me looking for personal injury attorneys. In Alaska, we don't split fees. It's unethical.
Mary 2010-12-07 16:00:37 Unknown
Same number, new guy - or Jeff realized his name was all over the web and no one in their right mind would take a call from Jeff Slavin... now it's Chris Grant
Mary 2010-09-25 16:14:01 Unknown
Dear Jeff's Boss: If Jeff is doing such a good job, give him a raise so he won't have to play games with little girls on the phone. Do you have the nads to put your name and company name out here for us to see? Give Jeff a different job, please.

I changed jobs since my post from late last year. At my new office, I was cleaning up odd bits of paper and old phone messages and came across one from Jeff at my NEW office too! This message was from February of 2010, before I started working here. Obviously he was hassling lawyers all over the city. Apparently the attorney had returned the call, because he wrote "effing telemarketer" on the message and stuck it on his spindle.
Mary 2010-09-25 15:55:47 Unknown
So, Jeff, you won. You got past one secretary. You did your job. By the way, what exactly IS your job? Is it getting past secretaries so you can see your name on the internet? Or is it actually making money?

I never said I was looking to hire an attorney to represent me personally in a criminal matter.

Got a message from him today saying he was looking for a criminal attorney. I am really glad I googled his number before wasting valuable time with this POS.

Jeff Slavin called our office. I just KNEW he had to be a telemarketer. I refused to take a message until he would verify he was not a telemarketer. He outright lied and said he was looking to hire an attorney to represent him PERSONALLY in a criminal matter. I told him again I would not take down any information from him until he verified he was not trying to sell something. He was, by far, the rudest person I have EVER spoken with. I took down his number for the purposes of investigating then Googled. After finding these posts I called him back and advised him he might as well take the State I live in off his list as I would advise the attorney to post a ListServ message about this guy. Told him to have great day!

I just got a call from the same guy - Jeff Slavin. 954 302 8961. He told my receptionist he needed a criminal attorney. I called him back and he just tried to sell me something. What a scumbag.

We got a call, and when asked who he was he hung up, he asked for me, I was doing something else, and DON'T usually answer calls. They are announced and someone I know, or I won't answer unless specifically expecting a call.
Don't call me, thanks.
I don't answer, that's what voice mail is for.

Just got a call from this number and decided to google it. I don't know if it's the same guy but the caller is now going by Steven Pram and pulling the same crap everyone else has detailed here.
Silvia 2010-06-08 16:15:58 Unknown
The guy introduced himself as Mr. Shapiro and wanted to talk with the attorney. He found our information on Internet. When I offered the possibility to contact her through the website or scheduling an appointment on the phone (paying the consultation fees), he just hung up rudely.
Immigration lawyer 2010-04-30 17:19:08 Unknown
Same type of call, this time asking for an Immigration Lawyer. He said he had a case to refer to us. He refused to give my staff any details, so she sent his call to voice mail, which I have now deleted.
My advice to Jeff is to be up front about whatever he is selling. Although I usually am not interested, once in a blue moon I might be and I might just take the call and even buy the product. For example, if he is selling paper and has a great deal which beats Staples, I might take the call if I happen to be out of paper, although if I just bought paper, I probably wouldn't be interested. Being up front would save his time too. No one wants to deal with a trickster, even if he has a great deal.

He just wasted some time of our case manager - what a douche.

I said I was looking for an injury attorney, and then a motor vehicle accident attorney. I said I need an accident attorney today.
Utah 2010-04-05 18:29:58 Unknown
I just rcvd a call from this Jeff Slavin asking to speak with an attorney. I asked if he was injured? Jeff stated he was. I asked if he was involved in a motor vehicle accident? Jeff stated he was. I asked when this motor vehcile accident happened because the number on our caller is not a UTAH number. I let Jeff know that it is very important we get the date of the accident because of the Statute of Limitations. He stated it is today and that is why he is calling. I repeated back to him that the statute runs today? So, 4 years ago you were involved in a motor vehicle accident and today is the final day to file a complaint. He then abruptly stated he will call me back. Just so you all know out there on the web. He provided us with this number as well: (561) 305-5610.
What ever. I am glad I googled this number and found the "cold call".

I had a good time returning the call using *67 and making real fun comments to him. About his mom, his sexuality, and his lack of p***s size. Good times.

"Our service puts attorneys on the first page of Google."
Horse Hockey. I hear this ALLLLLL the time from cold calls, and just for laughs I do a Google search "criminal attorney" in our area and guess what, we're on the first page, for free!
Donna 2010-03-04 23:11:23 Unknown
Oh, do I love the internet and my intuition. Can't we just tell when they're a solicitor? Been doing this too long to not recognize he's just trying to get past the screener. And he's just too abrupt. (Getting any clues yet, Jeffy?) A real client, even when they want to not reveal everything, will give some information beyond only name and phone number.
Thanks, guys. Good to know my instincts were correct!
Jeffs Boss 2010-02-25 18:10:01 Unknown
After reading all of this I have to say Jeff is doing a great job. Yes it is a little misleading, but if I have him call attorneys offices and say we are an advertising company he gets no one on the phone. So I ask you, how are we supposed to get through to the decision maker if you will not allow any solicitions through. Our service puts attorneys on the first page of Google. It works!!
