Got a call from a Louis Gagino, said he was trying to get in touch with my brother, and said that we wanted to "Settle" the issue or have to "file papers" with the County.  I am thinking I should call him back and turn things around on him.  Number he left was 954-621-3495.

I GOT AN CALL TODAY FROM AN PROCESS SERVER SAID SHE HAS BEEN ORDERED TO SERVE ME COULDNT TELL ME WHAT FOR I WOULD HAVE TO CALL THIS NUMBER 1-954-621-3495 SAID THEY HAD TWO CASES ON ME ONE FOR PAYDAY LOAN THEN ANOTHER FOR ATTEMPTING TO COMMITT FRAUD FROM (CHECK INTO CASH)  THIS WAS SOMETHING DATWDR FIRMED BACK IN 2008.....CALLED THIS NUMBER NONE DID MINNIE MARANDA SPK WITH AN JENNIFER  ROBERTS WITH ...ADV OF STATUE OF DEBT AN THIS MATTER WAS TAKEN CARE OF ADV I WOULD CONTACT MY ATTORNEY N THIS....DECIDED TO GOOGLE NUMBER AND NAME OF COMPANY AND THIS IS WHAT I FIND..CALLED NUMBER BACK AGAIN SPKE WITH AN SAM AN MEGAN (WHO WAS VERY RUDE) THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU WHAT THE WDR STANDS FOR....SAM STATED THEY DONT SEND ANYTHING IN THE MAIL THERE COMPANY PURCHASE OLD DEBT FROM PAYDAY LOAN COMPANIES AND TRY TO GET PAID OFF OF IT... I don't see anyone here trying to malign the work of genuine process servers, whose "bona fee-days" can be often confirmed with a local court or a state office. One would think it would concern you that this so-called debt collector and many others like it wish to *pretend* that they work in your field, or claim that they can cut fast deals with you or phantom litigators, simply to scare people into paying what they never owed.

Nothing in any of the related threads suggests that WDR has earned credibility of any kind. Reports indicate it's managed to use five different business names in the past two years. The complaints are pretty consistent with the profile of the Buffalo Bully fraud shops who use faulty or nonexistent debt claims as a cheap premise to swindle people. Not surprisingly, this one hails from nearby North Tonawanda.

Much as I appreciate your benefit of the doubt, we may not be dealing with some upstart small business but a component of a larger network of thieves. This business model diffuses illegal activity among many names and places, and has been seen many times in Western New York, Atlanta GA, and Corona CA.

Got a call today from same mine different last digit saying the same.. Going to serve me between 5-7 on Monday. I told them I had a debt company settle all my debt... I asked why am I getting a heads up as she called it on serving me papers. We shall see!

They called me, and jumped straight to telling me they were serving court papers! Oh no! I asked who they were for, and they knew my name, I asked them if they knew my address, it was wrong (not even in the same state), upon telling them this, he said "F you and your family" and hung up.

Had a message left on my voicemail stating there were claims filed against me (my maiden name). They are taking action and should receive papers through the county in which I live in a few business days. Then wished me luck, ha! The incoming number was restricted but return number left on cm was 1-855-278-7085. After reading other comments, pretty sure it's a scam.

i also have received the same calls, but most of my calls direct me to 1 954 417 3224 for the same WDR Law Firm.  i have been waiting for them to come by from 5-7 for the last 2 nights.  The lady that calls claims to be a processor from our county.  My brothers is a Captain for the Sheriff department which handles all summits/warrants and he said their is not such person working at the court house.  thanks for putting this information out here.  it has eased my mind.

I am a county process server in  Michigan. I came across these comments and others  and would like to help. If you are getting calls by a blocked number that is because as a process server leaving your direct number will result in many harassing and scary phone calls. We do not work for the offices who have filed the paperwork, we work with the paperwork only. This is a legitimate case, in which we are hired as private servers or, depending, certified carriers for the county. I process server is hired to deliver paperwork, especially if a person who is assigned to do so is not comfortable. (ex husband, family member, and so on). As far as this W.D.R  Law Firm, they may not be a scam. I have worked with paperwork from small relatively new businesses who are not well known or have not established "internet credibility".  If these people are scammers then screw them, however I just wanted to let people know process servers and private process servers are legitimate and if you do get a call you should definitely follow the appropriate instructions. I hope this helps.  

I received a call from the exact same number attached and the spiel was the same. They did have the last 4 of my SSN, which wasn't cool at all but without the rest, or being able to do provide any other details, its a scam.

Got a call at work from a supposed WDR Firm gave me the number of 855-278-7085. Said that they are going to serve papers on me.
I will write this in caps: A REAL PROCESS SERVER FOR A REAL LAWSUIT WILL NOT CALL YOU TO TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SERVE YOU!!! THEY WILL JUST SHOW UP AT YOUR DOOR AND GIVE YOU THE PAPERS - NO QUESTIONS ASKED. IF YOU ARE BEING CALLED AND TOLD THIS IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a scam...I had my lawyer involved. They made it very easy for me to pay off a loan I had taken out back in 2011. Very nice when you comply with them. They set up a payment plan for me, got a big load off my shoulders because I could not afford to pay it all in full.

I received calls from the past two days as well from the same person.  I have to believe that we live in different counties and probably different states. so she really gets around (I'm in PA).  On today's call, I told her to feel free to serve me at the address she stated (which is nearly 6 years old and two addresses ago!)  She said she would be there between 5-7p.  She asked me if I was sure I did not want the number to call to try to get this matter resolved.  I told her no - apparently she forgot that she called yesterday and gave me the number already (same number that appears throughout this page).  If there was a shred of truth to this, they would have my current address.  Lastly, a debt collector pretending to be something else is a big no no, and I look forward to seeing them in court, if it gets to that by any chance!

Me and two of my relatives received a call from a woman saying she was a process service in my county and told me to call WDR Law Firm at 954-417-3225.  I tried to call three times today.  The first time I got a secretary who said all the attorneys were in a meeting, but she would leave a message for someone to return my call.  No did.  I called back twice and left a message, but haven't heard back.  The process served said she had to get with me this week to serve me papers, yet she doesn't leave a contact no.  Strange.

Someone left a message by the name of Carmilla  Bridges stating that she is a representative in the county in which I live and said that they need to serve me some type of papers either at my home or my place of work. She was acting as if I had some type of judgment against me and it was linked to my social security number. The law firm name is WDR LAWFIRM and the number to the law firm is 954-417-3618.

I got the same calls also. First a call from a "process server" which is just generic enough of a title they might legally get away with it. Then 20 minutes later from the Florida VoIP based law firm. Two days in a row same thing.

I did get several payday loans but did not request them the loan companies themselves are not licensed to operate in any of the 50 states but do so over Indian reservations. They have NO legal recourse in the United States. The deposit small amounts of money in your account something like $200 and 30 days later claim you owe thousands the supposed interest rate was over 12,000% yep the $200 literally multiplies by ten in 30 days.

They have no legal rights in the USA. They are not legal teams in any way. Best thing to do is to direct them to your lawyer. Just pick one out of the phone book and give them that number. The lawyer will ask who they are ect. If they even dare to call. If they do I fact call and give the lawyer info hire the lawyer because you can retrieve thousands for violations of fair debt collections. I know I manage a collection center that actually operates within the law for a top ten bank.

Whatever you do don't give them money. You could actually be build a case for them if you accept the debt. Remember court isn't that scary of a thing in civil matters especially small claims like this even if they won it would just be an order to pay not even a judgement on your credit report.

Called left a msg with relative stating there are legal matters and is serving summons to call 954-417-3225 for more information.  When I called I asked this man to give me the website of this WDR LAWFIRM he said, he did not have to give me information, but he would serve me, I asked to give me names of the attornies involved, he refused, I asked him to give the case number and the telephone of the process server, he yelled profanities and hung up.  I called again, and said very politely, please dont hang up, I am trying to get information....he yelled profantities again, and he hung up, I called him again and asked why he was hangingup on me, he said, he did not have to answer any questions...YIKES, SCAMMERS!!!! They are calling from 954-417 numbers....just continue to question them for answers, professionals do not act like that!!!

The same thing happened to my husband.  But, this time it's a guy and you are to call WDR Firm at 954-417-7063.

A Michelle Walters also called me saying the exact same lines as mentioned above.stating that she will b coming to my house between 5 pm and 7 pm and if not will come to my place of work on Monday ... Too funny and her call comes up "no called id" ... She gives me the number mentioned above to call and settle this matter.

I have been receiving calls from them as well. EXACTLY like yours. I called the courts. SCAM!!! They do not know where I live or work. Also, he stated he was a Processor for the county in which I live, yet pronounced it incorrectly. IDIOT. It has been a man, each time, and it is HIS voice when I tried to call WDR Firm. These people use fear to scam money. DO NOT GIVE THEM A CENT.
