This is the 2nd time I received a call from 954-427-4604 in the past 2-3 months, no VM, but whomever has this number let it ring until they rec'd my mailbox.  If I don't recognize the #, and the person doesn't leave a VM, I don't waste time in calling the number back.

It's MIDAS according to what I found online.
Don't know why they're calling, but I just spent $570 on brakes, and after reading that WTF spent $1600 in Florida on car repairs, I'm willing to bet that he had his car worked on at MIDAS!

I went to a Midas last weekend. This number just called me today. It makes sense. Maybe they are just checking up after whatever job you have them do.

I see a trend here. I had my car worked on at Midas a week or 2 ago and I got a call from this number tonight. No voice mail. When I called back, I got what sounded like a fax machine.

was called 2 in 1 day. They called me 1st at 6:00am then they called me at 7:00pm that same night. when I called it back it rings till a fax picks up. why r they doing this to us..

I received a call from this number this evening at 8:30 pm.  They did not leave a message.  I did have my brakes repaired last weekend at Midas.

I could not find the number that called me.  It is 954-426-2709.  There's numbers listed for 954-425 and 954-427 but none for 954-426.  STRANGE!!  I did not answer it and they left no message.  However, I've NEVER purchased any item or service from MIDAS.

Got a call from 954-427-4604, didn't recongnize the number on caller ID so didn't pick it up. No voice mail, so i looked it up on the net. It's a number in Florida. I spent 1600 bucks on my car there,no way am I spending more on a bloody long distance bill! Oh ya, i'm in Ontario Canada!

If a telemarketer is bothering you, you have to tell them that if they call again you will sue them for harassment. If they call again, you can sue them. I worked for a telemarketer once, and yes, they got sued.

I received a miscall from this number, and yes I do have a ford and a customer of Midas.

Get a call from this number at 10:30 AM on 9/17/07. I didn't take the call. They left no message. I do own a Ford vehicle, but I haven't used MIDAS service for many years.

They called again today and I was able to answer...it was FORD asking how my service was when I brought my car in a while ago. mystery solved?

I received two phone calls right in a row at 11:30am.  I have no idea who it was as I didn't answer.  But I did get work done at Midas a few weeks ago...

Same deal - I got a call around 10:30 this morning, no voice on the other end, and when I called back it prompted me for the extension for a mailbox; I entered in a random number and it told me there was no attendant available.

I went to Midas for the first time last Saturday - one week ago today - and gave them my number. A-holes.

I just found another call log... 9/11/07 at 6:10 PM. I tried calling it back earlier today and it said I had reached the Message Center and to enter a number or stay on the line... I waited and it hung up on me.

I got a call on 9/12/07 at 5:41 PM (pacific) and 9/13/07 at 5:43 PM also one call a few days ago (deleted it from call log already)... they did leave a voicemail saying "hello...hello..." it was a weird nasal voice sounded like they were playing a joke or something... then right before they hung up it sounded like they were in a public place like a bar or something (people talking etc).

I still have the voicemail saved if anyone wants it...not sure how to send it to you though...

Its very weird and creepy. It doesn't seem like a business calling...just some person.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number.  Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.  who ever it was didn't leave a message.  Traced the area code and prefix to Deerfield Beach/Boca Raton, Fl. (I live in Pittsburgh, PA. and don't know anybody in that area, haven't been to Midas, and never owned a Ford.)

I had work done on my car at Monroe in NH about a month ago..I have been going there for about three years now and this is the first time anything like this has happened..I answered the phone and no one was there.

They called again! But this time I was ready... I already downloaded the Arnold Soundboard and had the guy talking to "Arnold" for about 3 min before he got scared and hung up! Hilarious!!

Yup - I went to Midas a couple weeks ago. I don't remember being warned I would get a call. It really is not professional to have a fax machine at the other end...

if they're legit they should: 1. Leave a message; and 2. Have a legit answering service to answer call backs. These pukes do neither.  

I think Midas needs to hear my wrath over this one.

Chill out everyone; its just a call center used by several companies to perform surveys on their behalf.  If you dont want to participate, dont answer.  If it bother you that badly, block the number.  It is an extension of their customer satisfaction programs.  They want to make sure you are happy with the product or services you recieved from their company.  Answer the call once, one or two quesions, and it will stop.  Oh, and if you are wandering how they got your "unlisted" cell phone numbers, you gave it to them when you took your car to the shop, applied for a loan, etc...Calm down!
