Just got a call from Michael Pate.  Same story as told here many times.  Thanks for the heads up.

Michael Tate strikes again. He's called our firm over 10 times in the past year. Always tries to get around me by saying the same as above, asks for my boss by name, total confidence, and says he wants to refer a case. I tell him the person you actually need to speak to about this is someone else; sometimes he bites and leaves a vm, sometimes he hangs up, but he will certainly call back again.

This rude man just called, when I asked the nature of his call, he said he's looking for an attorney in our area to whom he can refer divorces. I asked if there was a fee for his services. I've heard from this moron before and found his number and called him back. He said he hung up because I was not interested. I asked if it wouldn't have been preferable to excuse himself and hang up politely, and he said, and I'm paraphrasing, that he has no need to be polite. He's calling from a "private" number these days. A***ole. I suggested he Google himself. He said he already has, and people like me are giving him a bad reputation. LMAO!!!!

Same basic Message:  call from Michael Tate.  Caller ID comes up Demarco Development.  did not bother calling back.

I just took a message from a Michael Tate who was wanting to refer divorce matters to our firm. I had a funny feeling about him due to the phone number. I am glad I trusted my instincts and did not send the message to my boss. I will be tossing this number in the trash and spreading the word that he is a con artist.

Got a call from this number saying they were a firm referring a case to our firm... sales call

Thanks for the warning.  He just called a few minutes ago.  He indicated he had a "new personal injury case" to refer to us.  He was polite, but I felt something was wrong, so checked online.  I will toss the message.

Just got a message from him, Michael Tate.  He left me a message using my first name, no info.  Thank you for the alerts, I will steer clear!

Got a voice mail message from man identifying himself as Michael Pate, wanting my boss to call him.  He asked for my boss by his first name and acted like he was an old friend.  From what I've seen on the 'net, he is bad news.  We do NOT pay ANYONE for referrals to our law firm.

Michael Tate, telemarketer extraordinaire.  Hang up on him the second you hear that name.  He's a liar, conniving beyond comparison, and total garbage.

Office staff received call from Michael Tate stating that he had a referral for one of the physicians.  Hung up when asked for details.

Received call from Michael Tate at 954-453-1162.  Asked for attorney by first name claiming he had a referral for him.  He did confirm that he is not an attorney, but hung up when I asked the name of his company.

Received call from this number and he was very rude and abrupt with staff.  Said he had a good referral and would not give any information to anyone except the managing partner directly.
