Today 6/23/12 I received a call on my cell phone and my wife's cell phone
minutes apart questioning me about payment of my State Farm Insurance
then the person changed company and asked about   Progressive.  The
phone call originated from 954-495-7492.  I Googled it, but very
little information came back. No insurance company at this number.

Got a call from this # today - it rang 3 times as well and then hung up. When I called it back, a recording came on saying thank you for calling reservations, please leave your name and number and we will get back to you.  I don't have any reservations made for anywhere!!

I keep getting phone calls from that number. I do not have clue who is calling me almost every day. Can somebody stop this b s.

RECEIVED A CALL AGAIN TODAY AT WORK  FROM (954)495-4465 (JAMES) SAYING THAT I WON A VACATION PACKAGE COUPLE OF YEARS AGO.??? AND IN ORDER TO KEEP THE PACKAGE I WILL NEED TO PAY $168 .

Missed call from this number. No message left.

I just received a call from this number, it only rang three times, left no message.

I have been getting calls from this number, and when I return the call I get the message the mailbox is full.

I keep getting phone calls from that number.

Got a call from this phone number on my cell phone, no message, but it did identify the call being from Florida.


Funny how every 4-5 months, I get a week or two of these strange calls from Florida.  And I live near Ottawa (Can)

This number keeps calling and won't say anything when I answer.  When I call the number back it says "mailbox is full"

I've gotten numerous calls to my work number. Haven't answered, and now won't be calling back... Thanks everyone who posted about this vacation scam!

DDDONT RECALL

Just got called from this number about 30 minutes ago. Called them back only to get "mailbox full message".

RECEIVED A CALL SAYING THAT I WON A VACATION COUPLE YEARS AGO. AND THAT NOW I WAS NEEDING TO PAY A AMOUNT OF $168 TO HOLD THE VACATION SPOT TO BE TAKEN IN ABOUT 1 YEAR.

I recieve a call from these people 3 times a week when I answer they ask for a person by the name of rosario but there is no one here by this name i told them and asked for them to remove my number from there calling list and the person told me no and hung up

I keep getting this number but no one leaves a message?  What does this number have to do with me?  The calls vary from morning until very late at night.  Please advise, what can I do to protect my privacy and how did they get my number?

Received a call from 954-495-4465 they said they were from Specialty Travels and wanted to talk to us.  As soon as we heard who they were we hung up on them.  We're on the do not call registry so I reported them. If they had not checked the do not call registry 1st we knew they might be a scam.

Got a call yesterday night around 11pm!
Someone ask for my wife,
I replied - "Yes, who is calling please",
Someone - "THis is Jeff making a courtesy call for Ms.(Wife)"
I replied - Ok, but from which company are you calling please?"
Someone - "This is a courtesy call for Mrs. (Wife)",
I replied - "Yes I already understood that, but would you please identify yourself from wich company are you calling?"
Someone - "This is a courtesy call for Mrs. (Wife), Are you Mr. (xxxx)?"
I replied - "No I'm not anyone untill you tell me who are you!?"
Someone - "Can I please talk to Mrs. (Wife)",
I replied - "No you can not" and I ended up the call.
I tried to call back and got a "inbox full" message.

Stop calling me. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST...One more time and I am reporting you to the FCC.

They call all times of the day,,, multiple times during the same day.
No one answers when i pick up, no message, just a blank call.  Over and over again. How to stop this ?

Add this number to your directory on your cell phone and give it the name "Annoying Caller #1". Set the ring tone to "no ring". You will never be bothered again, even though they continue to call. The call will be identified as a Missed call from annoying caller #1. I finally bought a set of phones for home that have call blocking. Now if I get annoying calls at home, the call block stops the call. It's great! I love technology!

showed up on my caller ID. of course I don't answer when it says "unknown name"

This number keeps calling and calling and calling me my mom has called it back my teacher and other adults all thy do is ask for a brian and then ask me what my name is why are they bugging me I am just a kid?

I'm so glad to see it's not just me.  These people have been calling off and on for MONTHS.  Always at night (around 7pm) and often around noon.  they will let it ring 3 times, then hang up.  I have picked up the phone several times - and there is a dial tone.  I finally picked it up RIGHT AWAY.  When the man on the line said "HI", I interruprted him and told him to STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER.  He (very sternly - rudely) said, "Identify Yourself!"  To which I replied "The pissed-off person you keep calling!!" ... he hung up.

phone rings I pick up no one answers,this goes on at least twice a day morning and night this has to stop.

They called before and did not leave messages. Yesterday I answered the phone, and heard the usual line that I "expressed an interest in the Orlando resort a couple of years back but never finished transaction"...
I requested not to be called, I am sure the request will be ignored, as happened before with these people.
Keep filing complaints with DoNotCall registry, but they still calling...

954-495-4465 calls me everyday and hungup once I answered.

I recieve a hang up phone call from this number every day during the week. No one is one the other end when I answer. They hang up every time I answer. The caller ID shows 954 495 4465

I have always wanted to blow out a phone harasser's eardrum!! Good for you!!

I'm actually a little relieved to find this is a telemarketer.  I thought it was a crazy ex-husband!

Calling for weeks now, several times daily, hangs up when I answer (what's the point of that?) leaves no message when I don't answer.
