I just answered one on Craigslist by a Tony Adams saying he wants to move his mother from Hawaii to Jonesboro Arkansas so that I can be her caregiver. He also laid out the whole plan and told me id be paid $600 weekly. Something seems a little sketchy here though. And he didnt seem to know English grammar very well.

He's at it again.  Just received the exact e-mail.  Received it once before and didn't respond.  Have a family member by the same name but not their e-mail. He is using  lastvisions2011@gmail.com now.  I have been on some of the job search sites and even craigslist searching for jobs.  I'm not currently searching and can only think that is where he got my email address from.  So sad that there are scammers everywhere!

Tony Adams is now claiming to be Portuguese, living in Metairie, LA. He uses a 504 number and a Ghana number. He claims to work for Yahoo as translator and a gold dealer. Which is why he is in Africa. He has been in a coma and has had yellow fever. LOL. He will claim to need money for shipping gold, hotel, hospital, and food. Apparently he is going to starve to death.  He will want to send you items to ship to him in Ghana so that he can come to marry you. Do not accept package as I am sure it will be items bought with stolen credit card.  This guy is smooth. He will call more than five times a day, text, email, and Yahoo IM. He is a pro. Don't get sucked in by his nice laugh. He only wants your money.

To answer your question, regarding Mr. Tony Adams-Yes, I have recently been in daily contact, after mtg this person via Match.com;  he claims to have a 12 yr old Daughter & supposedly resides in Metarie, La.
This seems to very mucy be another "Romance Scam" and I have reported it to the proper Officials in the US-Cybercrimes Dept.

The guy i talked to said he was out of state at the time and needed a personal assistant. I looked up the potential scam, but there was none to be found until i looked it up again today. Thank goodness i did not work for him at all as of yet. He pretty much tells you to post other ads on craigslist in his ploy get get more followers.

Hi, I received the same thing from a posting on Craigs List.  However, my scam artists name was Matt Jones!!  As soon as I sent the last email asking if this was a scam, he never wrote me back.  Note to self:  Don't get a JOB on Craigslist!!!

i found the same scam on craigs list this Tony Adams character hase sent me numerous email in correspondace about being his personal assistant...after about 2 months of going back && forth today i recieve and email where he told me he would be sending me a check for $3,850 thats when i decided to google him and found all these fruad alerts with basically the same info i had been  given... now im afraid because ive sent in my my address and telepone number... i hope this stop as i have told him i am no longer interested in this position...

My wife found a job posting on Craigslist for an Adams Property Management. The guy asked if there was equipment we had or needed, asked for a resume and laid out the entire package of info. Unfortunately I can't find any info on this guy anywhere. Thinking it could possibly be the same scam. He goes by Tony Adams. So far he hasn't asked for too much but I was wondering if anyone had the same experience so far.

this number is associated with a craiglist scam doing wire transfers to nigeria Reported him to FBI FedEx and addresses he included in emails. He changes emails more often then he changes his underware. Uses a Bellingham Wa property management web site in his scam. They are aware of the scam and have received many phone calls from arount the US

rude male voice, bad accent, " can you hear me?"
I answered, only heard the echo
Then 3rd call came in number changed
no one answer the other end
4 th call shows this number
I just rejected
all happens within 3 minutes
much too annoying onthe Thanksgiving Day
morning!

These calls are really making me angry and I just want them to stop.  It is getting to the point that I am snapping at my boyfriend and my daughter.  I get these calls every 20 minutes or so, and it is usually 2-4 calls in a row.  If I answer I just get hung up on.  I have not heard any message or talked to anyone.  Just straight harassment.  When they hang up I immediately get another call with the same result.  But when I don't answer is when I get 4 in a row.  They call from LOTS of different numbers.  Here is a list of the numbers that have been harassing me.. I just hope I don't end up throwing my iphone out a window before this stops!

Just got a call from this number, it started with bad music, then went to a poor quality recording. They stated that they were "card holder services" and they could offer a lower interest rate for my credit card. Press 9 to speak to a service rep.

I'm guessing that they have recycled the number from the people that InWasilla reported. Probably the same people doing a different angle to try an scam people.
