I got a scam calls about "Today in America" from the following:

United States Media Television, Inc.

They want about $20k! I've read on several forums and heard from other sources that its all a scam.

Rob is correct. They claim to be the assistant of a television "producer" and get very annoyed when you tell them you've already been contacted by many of their colleagues from other "television shows." Avoid easy television coverage like the plague...no such thing as a free lunch. They target small public companies and the like. Over the past few years I've heard from many of them...

This is a vanity TV production company. They get you to pay for a TV spot which they show late late late night. Don't expect much action from the TV spot, but for the right company - it might be a good advertising tool . They don't tell you that you have to pay until waaaay into the conversation.
