I was also contacted by this company for employment after posting my résumé online. I looked up the number to get more info and I find the above conversation between another job seeker and a purported member of HR for that company. All I can say is that after reading this I certainly hope this person isn't actually from the company as this behavior is terribly unprofessional. Using threats to silence detractors, even if they make false statements, is wrong. Posting their information in such a manner is in fact a violation of their privacy and possibly a form of harassment. I for one refuse to become part of any company where such behavior is tolerated. If I was the above poster and received this treatment, I would be on the phone with the Better Business Bureau faster than you could blink. I hope those who need to reflect on their words and actions do so and learn to conduct themselves in a respectable way.

Regards,

Really, so you decided to Google your name and you saw that we replied to your post. There are so many inconsistencies with your statements. And I quote (I called you back to find out who kept calling me at all hours of the day and night). Really all hours, day and night, question look at your phone records and tell us what time at night did we call you Joe? Because last time I check we work regular business hours. We have a right to defend our company from ignorant people like you and everyone else that post comments and don?t have any facts to back it up. And let this be a lesson to everyone else if you post false or misleading information about this company on this or any other sites, we will post your info/comments for other companies to see. So when they Google your name?.. They will see who you really are!

I googled my name and saw that this disgruntled and vindictive recruiter (HR) with AIL posted my name and phone number on this site bc he/she assumed (wrongly) I posted a comment on Feb. 20th. This is funny because I have never been to this site prior to today. What is NOT funny, however, is that what you did was illegal, unethical, and highly unprofessional. I recall our conversation- I called you back to find out who kept calling me at all hours  of the day and night with their overly aggresive recruitment tactics, and to politely reject your "opportunity". Seeing first hand how you conduct yourself both on here, and at the office, its no shock to find you need to constantly defend yourself and the company you work for...you are clearly unstable and a bad reflection of AIL as a company. Rest assured, I will be contacting your office and going as far up the chain as I need to go to have you FIRED for what you did in violating my privacy and posting personal information!!! You crossed the line big time and you're lucky if I dont have you in court very soon. P.S. having a resume posted online doesn't mean you are entitled to call someone 20 times a day! You do what all the other reputable, legitimate companies do- call ONCE and leave a MESSAGE.

If you have found employment that is great news we are happy for you, but please do us all a favor and remove your resume off the site you posted it on. So companies are not calling you while you?re working, does that make any sense to you. And for your information, the do not call list does not apply when your posting your resume/information on sites like Monster & Career Builder ask for employment, how else are they suppose to get in contact with you. And our company has nothing to hide from anyone seeking information about our company or employment. Torchmark Corp/American Income Life. www.torchmarkcorp.com or www.ailins.com.

You called me on my cell phone WHILE I was working.  So stop calling me.  Your characterization is a completely false, very tea party led lie.  You are a scam artist or a telescam, for which I am on the no-call list.  You used my resume to get my number.  Now that you've so ignorantly given the name of your company I will go to the sites I am posted on and make a formal complaint that you're using them to troll for numbers, REAL company or not.

This last post was posted by Joe Fuchs [phone number:removed], resume was posted on Career Builder. Yes we did call you, and we did offer you an opportunity to work for our company but you said no thank you after we explained everything we had to offer. And that Sir is fair, but you have no right to spreading lies over the internet about our great company. First of all, you don't have to take my word for it. AM Best (www.AMbest.com) has ranked AIL with an A+ rating. That's the highest rating you can get for an insurance company that has been around 50+ years. Also yahoo jobs ranked us #37 in the top 100 places to work in 2009 & we are also a Fortune 500 company. Joe Fuchs the facts speaks loud and clear, now Sir any companies that goggles your name will see the propaganda and lies you spread about companies that call to offer you employment. And it doesn?t matter what degree you have Sir; the MBA doesn?t make you a better person. We will not let people like you tarnish this great company.

Where do you get off slandering people and making unfounded presumptions about people on this forum? People like me who simply want to find out what rediculous pyramid-scheming, crap insurance slinging company won't stop harassing them with numerous calls each week. Oh look, they are calling me again right now!! Maybe it is YOU on the other end of this call, a pathetic unskilled and uneducated failure who must take this "great opportunity" of a job because you aren't qualified for a REAL job. Unlike me ,who has a great career, MBA, and plenty of clout in my industry. Wake up and see that this BS AIL company just lumps suckers like you into a room to brainwash you with a "dream to make 100K a year" and is not an organization you should associate yourself with as a professional. They probably take advantage of poor elderly people and cram term life policies down their throats going door to door...no wonder they have been around 57 years. The age of a company does not guarantee their reputability, instead consider the opposite, that most of these insurance companies are frauds and have changed hands (and names) so many times since inception that they cannot be recognized as unscrupulous. P.S. anyone with half a brain and an inkling of knowledge knows carriers are a total ripoff!! God thing ignorance is bliss, thus you can continue going through life thinking you are not a total idiot.

I did receive a call from this number and after doing my own research about the company, it looks to be a very legit business. American Income Life / Williams-Zophin have been in business for over 50 years. I went on their web site www.ailins.com or www.williamszophin.com and it seems to be a very strong company. There are also videos on youtube from others successful business owners that work for the company. I?m going to my interview this week. P.S do you own research please, you can?t believe everyone.

Perfect example (Hardworking American), you were presented with an opportunity and YOU turned it down. You?re still back on the unemployment line using up my tax dollars if you?re so concerned about your country. You failed, and the only way that you can make yourself feel better is by posting your negative thoughts. Do you feel better now? Good luck with your employment search.  I?m so glad you?re not my kid?s principal/teacher at any of their school, no wonder the public school system sucks in America. Not everyone can be a winner in life. Teach your students to take advantage of every great opportunity that gods gives you. Stop complaining about your failures. Remember we offered you carrier and you said no, it?s all good. Ignorance is bliss!

Also, anyone caught working at your company should be embarrassed.. Your cover labor unions and all types of other stupid things that bankrupt government dollars..  Must be why so many people in NY and NJ don't want to live any more.  Business is impossible with all of the union regulations.  Your company supports mediocrity and communism.. You should be ashamed.

Not a smart comment to make... People looking for jobs may not be unemployed... I have about 4 jobs including a full time teaching position, but want to move up in the world... It would be easier if crappy companies like you weren't calling trying to make a sales pitch.. If you are doing so well you shouldn't have to hijack people's resume off of monster.. I was looking for a principal position and instead got my time wasted by Williams-Zophin... Tell your loser people who are only one step from unemployment yourselves to get a grip and try some better hiring methods besides trying to trick people for a b s job opportunity.

You people that are unemployed really need to get it together; the Williams-Zophin Company is a real company. American Income Life/Williams-Zophin Company has been around for over 57 years in all 50 states. We are also in Canada, New Zealand and Ireland. Stop looking for reasons to stay on unemployment and get a job. Maybe the reason you?re out of work is because you just a negative person. Example look at what you?re doing right now, looking for negative s***!

Searched my resume on monster.com and was asking me to come in for interview. I get emails like this all the time, because my background is in sales. These companies usually are a no office lead, make your own way, start from the bottom sales companies.  Oh did I forget to mention there is no salary or draw either. They must be hard up for sucker sales people, cause they have to hire  people to sit on the phone and call people and offer interviews. The girl that just called me was sucking on candy while talking to me and her co- worker in the cubicle next to her. Yeah, I wanna come work for a company that hires people like this. NOT!! It's actually quite insulting. If you really read my resume, you'd see that I have over 10 years in sales, 12 in management, and have been running my own small business for the last 7 years.
