Ditto to Dave. Regents Seven Seas. I have taken 2 cruises with them--they are absolutely fantastic!! Everything you can think of wanting and more. Hope to cruise again (and again) with them!

to 'annoyed', I just received a call from this number and it's from Regent Seven Seas Cruises. I answered an online advertising promotion and viola! I get a call from them within 3 hours to promote their cruises, even though I noted a preference of contact via online only. I hope it's just a one time call, but we'll see. They did have the courtesy of leaving a message and not just hang up.

Everything you describe could very well be a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, FDCPA. FDCPA protects consumers like you from illegal debt collection. Illegal debt collection includes refusing to validate a debt after requesting that the debt collector do so and misrepresenting the legal status of a debt such as being in or out of the SOL. Consult with a consumer attorney for free as these types of violations could be worth up to $1,000 to you and paid by the violating debt collector. Debt collector is liable to pay any and all attorney's fees.
