Some guy named john Ramirez signed me up for insurance earlier today. He used the term MULTIPLAN and said the insurance would be through United National Health 100, which lumps components of other plans (Aetna, blue cross and other trusted names) together. I gave him my info. The deal sounded too good to be true.

I decided to call him back at the number and extension he gave me to reach him and that was bogus. I called him back at the number he called me from in FL (954) 773-2800 which delivered me to one of his cohorts. I finally got him on the phone and he said he was busy and that I should call back. I asked for a website and he basically hung up. Cancelled the card. Hope this helps someone.

I have received phone calls from 4 different numbers over 1 and 1/2 weeks, always asking for the same person but who does not live here.  They refused to identify themselves until I started to call back the numbers and asked to speak to the manager today.  They replied they "were the manager", then identified themselves as Health Enrollment Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  657-202-9065, 205-564-2606, 954-607-4398, and 954-271-0751.  They stated a person had applied for insurance but this company has numerous complaints to the Better Business Bureau, with two unresolved because the BBB couldn't find them.  BEWARE!!!  Offer no info should they call you repeatedly, call back and demand TO HAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER REMOVED, and check your free credit report for unexplained inquiries and place a fraud alert if necessary.

have been receiving calls from this unprofessional business as well.  a representative STEVE would call and drone on with this sales pitch.  when you try and ask who he is calling for, why he is calling or what he is selling he pauses momentarily and ignores you going right back to where he left off in his pitch.  when you ask for supervisor he hangs up on you.  when you call back he and other male partner hang up on you.  this sketchy business is hard to find address or telephone number too.  does anyone have an active line. my understanding that it is illegal to fail to identify yourself, illegal to refuse to stop calling and illegal to call someone on do not call list..

I just got a call from Health Enrollment Center in Florida, from a 303-586-6567 number. I have never done business with this company and  have my phone listed on the do not call registry. I filed a complaint with the this company on the do not call registry.

my call was actually from 954-671-5406 from the same company. Too many calls to count over 6-9 months. get hung up on when i ask for a superviser.

AltCharge debited my account in the amount of $84.80 on 9/4/12, on behalf of a merchant that neither delivered the product nor responded to phone or email contact attempts by myself or AltCharge.

Approximately three weeks ago, AltCharge advised me by phone that they would process a refund to me, and to call back in a week to check on the status. Since that time, I have called more than 40 times, but have been unable to get through to a CSR.

After varying times on hold, I eventually get to "First in Line," and then hear a recording that the person at that the "person at extension 1101 is unavailable." Personally, I think they're just blackholing my phone number when I call, and that they have no intention of processing the refund.

AltCharge is the processor of last resort for scumbag merchants that no reputable processor will deal with. If the merchant doesn't deliver, AltCharge will do NOTHING to help you get your money back.

Do yourself a favor: If a merchant wants you to pay them through AltCharge, RUN as fast as you can.

I think there are only 4 real insurance companies that are not discount plans...COBRA, Blue Cross Blue Shield  and UPMC and AETNA.  This is what I honestly believe to be true.  I won't trust any others.

I had called my health care provider and in the middle of my call my phone went dead. I got another call right away and thought I was talking with my health care provided, I even asked if iCindy if was with my provided by their name. Cindy said she was them. Cindy gave me a good quote on insurance. I  called back to talk to the Cindy,but their operator was very rude. This girl that said this Cindy she was unavailable. I asked when Cindy was going to be available, and the girl said she didnot know when Cindy would be available. I asked for a supervisor, becasue this girl was very rude and she hung up.  I called back a 2nd time, got the same girl and told her need to talk a supervisor or the Cindy, The operator said I was accusing her of lieing. I asked again, when Cindy would be available or I needed a supervisor, she hung up. THE MOST RUDE PERSON I HAVE DELT WITH---THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS.,,AND I WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THEIR PRATICES. The company was American Health Care Plans.

American HealthCare Plans / Health Enrollment Center: The number 954-514-9287 or 877-599-8926 claims to offer their clients insurance plans. These are just DISCOUNT plans!!! I have done some investigating and found out that this a company ran by a STEVE DORFMAN which has also stolen customers information from other insurance companies and has had call centers in the Dominican Republic to sell discount plans. They claim to give you co pays for Dr. visits as well as having a 70/30 coinsurance. Sometimes they go as far as lying about who the insurance is with and telling you that they work for the government or are with COBRA. If you have been scamed by this company you must report them to the Department of Insurance for the State of Florida (https://apps.fldfs.com/ESERVICE/Sendmail.aspx) as well as the attorney General or they will continue to do this over and over again!!!

I am so glad I looked this company up on line. I too put in my info online looking for an affordable Insurance Company. These people called me from the number 877-599-8926. It all sounded too good to be true, that is why I questioned it before I took it out. I talked to a girl named Alexis E. She didn't give me her last name just E. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!  This is a scam!!

This FL company is a scam and are using this number too: 877-599-8926. Three reps hung up on me when I asked for the benefit details and online site. They would have taken my money then and there and I would have had a major issue.

This company started to call after I did a request for health insurance information on line. It is a health savings plan, not an insurance plan. I was interested and gave them my account info. Bad mistake. They sent through charges each month which I didn't notice as they came as a check with a different account number each time. I am following up with an attorney now, but not hopeful about getting money back. Never received anything in the mail and had to go through the bank to find phone numbers or any way to contact them. They used a biller called altcharge.com which has numerous complaints too.

This number was given to me as the direct line to Tim Johnson who is an agent for Health Enrollment Center also known as American Healthcare Plans, Inc.  BE WARNED.  This company has an "F" rating with the Florida BBB.  There are 16 complaints from January-May that have not been responded to by this company.  I myself have a complaint in as after cancelling the policy within the 30 days of inception have not received a refund.  They have not returned phone calls and the last time I called told me they couldn't help me and threatened to hang up on me.
