Capital one

Automated technological dialer assault from persons unknown who never leave a message.  If they don't leave a message, they most certainly won't be getting a call back.

These people call non-stop, about an "important opportunity"......We are not behind on payments, they are trying to basically sell me a bigger credit limit.

I have told them no. They still call.

They called on sunday, I asked them not to call. They called everyday without leaving messages after that....the next sunday, I SCREAMED....dont call me, and dont bother people on SUNDAY, its a holy day!

I just got yet ANOTHER call from them, which lead me to this thread. I am going to pursue this, they WILL stop calling me, even if I have to call the LAW.

Who is this?? They could at least have the decency to leave a message.

That'll show them haha, just get a person on line and ask to be removed from the dialer.  Or continue screaming to no avail and throw out somemore idle threats.  Let me know how that works out haha.

I've been called twice from this number, I haven't picked up but there was no message left.

Yeah what is up ? They are sneaky AND it doesnt matter if your on the DO NOT CALL REGISTERY because when you sign up on most credit cards you check a box stating you will recieve calls from 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th party callers !!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR !

I just do not answer and put my cell on silent so they wont call in the next 60 seconds. BECAUSE if you answer, they will put you on hold, not answer AND it sets you up for for the next 2 seconds if you dont stay on the line.

I'm in California.  This is a Florida number. That's not local as far as I remember.

This is one of the many Capitol One phone numbers.  They call on average once every 45 minutes every day from 8:05 am to 8:50 pm.  They are so persistent that if you block a number they just use another number to call from or they change their caller ID.  Some come through as Capitol One, while some come through as restricted.  And now they use SIGNET BANK-VA (800)955-6600.  When you call back it's Capitol One.  So far in December they used 12 different numbers.  Now in 3 days of January they have added 3 more numbers. I'm looking into a harassment solution now.

Capital One. When employed, tried my damndest to work out a pay schedule, but only if they would drop some of the EXCESSIVE fees. The non payment\late fees threw acct into overlimit fees and from there what was once a 475.00 bill BALLOONED w/in 4 months to over a 1000.00! And that occurred even though I called and tried to talk to the B@$&@#(S about my financial situation!!!!  Now unemployed, broke. They can just shove the debt up their @$$!

Just put the numbers on your call reject list. I already got 4 started and it is so much better I only get the voice mails with no ring.

this is absolutely 100% Capital One. I owe them money but I am filing bankruptcy. They know this but still call. I think this is the 9th different number that they have called me from.

So local means someone in Florida calling South Carolina?  I wish they'd stop calling my cell.

Same thing Capital One Phone:  954-522-4917 -- I called the number from my cell phone and they said in a recording"  Please do not hang up... We have now recorded your caller ID and will be matching your number to our records.  Repeat, DO NOT HANG UP"   --- I hung up.

Capital One.  They call from area codes local to the cardholder.

This woman called asking for the worng name when I told her that was not me... she proceed to asking how long I had this number etc. I ended up hanging up on her because she was rude.

If you call back do you get to talk to Linda? How come they can harass me with an English Speaker on my cell phone yet when I call them for anything I get nothing but broken English at best.

Capitol One. I have programmed all of their different numbers in my cell so I know not to answer and to know who it is. I am up to "Capitol One #10". Can't wait to pay them and cancel the cards.

guys calls early sunday morning with a strange accent, says he represents capital one, but when i start 2 talk, call disconnects...he calls back...what an annoyance

robo call, solicitation.  I thought robo cold calls were illegal?

I just received a call from this number on May 23, 2009 at 8:39am.  Most like it is Capital One.  They use several different number to try to contact people and use Customer Service Agents that can not speak English.  They have called me from 25 differnt numbers, sometimes they will call from an unknown number as if they are trying to hide their identity.  The problem with that is they leave a message with a phone number.  Capital One is stupid.  I sent them a letter asking them questions about my account, they refused to answer and then think that I am going to pay them.

This is Capital One, one of thousands of numbers they seem to have all over the country.  Sneaky b*****ds!

Did not answer because number was unfamiliar. Caller left a voice message, which was a snippet of a man and a woman speaking in a non-Western language.  There was ambient background noise.
