Received a call from this number today on my cell. Did not know the number so I did not answer. No message left.

Contact your Senators and Congress persons!  On June 27, 2007, the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation passed S.704, a bill that would make it a crime to spoof caller ID. Dubbed the "Truth in Caller ID Act of 2007," the bill would outlaw causing "any caller identification service to transmit misleading or inaccurate caller identification information" via "any telecommunications service or IP-enabled voice service." Law enforcement is exempted from the rule. A similar bill was recently introduced and passed in the House of Representatives, making it a real possibility of becoming law. It has been referred to the same Senate committee that approved S.704; that committee has not yet acted on it, nor has the Senate bill been sent to the floor.

Just googled "Caller ID Spoofing" - man, a ton of stuff comes up.  Apparently very easy and inexpensive to do.

Got a call from this number for the fourth time, called back on a secure internal line (work for a gov't agency) and got the disconnected recording. I would tend to believe that Ms. Churilla is probably not involved with this scan. More than likely, someone has "hijacked" the number. It is probably coming from a cell phone that has been "spoofed" to show this number.  Chances are these are criminals calling to get your personal information for identity fraud. My experience -the phone company will be no help. Not a few moments after that last post I got a phone call from Janelle.  Yep, she's real, and she's really puzzeled as this is a fax line she has in her townhome.  She has contacted the phone company to see if she can get this resolved.  I'm convinced she's a victim here as well of somthing larger.  She mentioned she lives in a townhome, I'd love to be there when the phone company investigates.  I bet they find the line branched into another apartment or worse.

At 10:10am on 10/26/07 she called me, again.  That's added to 4 times yesterday.  This morning I briefly spoke to a woman that asked for me by name, when I asked who was calling she hung up.  That's when I decided to look online to see if I was alone.  No suprise to find out I'm not.  Following the leads above, I called Suncom and yes, there is a Janelle Churilla in the company directory.  I left a v-mail, one I suspect will never be listened to as there is no such person.

Have callwave and this J Churilla shows up with this phone number but no message left.

Been receiving calls about 4 times a day since Monday (Oct. 22)  No message, hangs up on 2nd ring.

Received a call today at 10:13 am PST from this number. Was away from my phone so I did not answer. It was probably a spam. Glad to have found this website though. And yes, the number is listed to this Janelle person (as found on Google) which I am pretty sure is fake.

Also, I have been getting a lot of fax calls to my cell. Not sure why.

I have also been getting calls from this number for over a week.  I even answered it and no one was there.  VERY annoying!

The calls may or may not be originating from this number; it could be a hijacked or cloned phone, but it is definitely computer calling and definitely "phone spam."

I have received three calls to my CO based cell phone from this number. No messages have been left. Google still indicates that the number belongs to Janelle.

Got a call today at 4:40p and yesterday at 3:53p.  they didn't leave any message.  What's up with the old lady thing?

From this number, this person left me a message saying my number was given to her to rent a vacation home....don't know what she's talking about.  She sounded like a confused old lady..............so who knows?

Called my 650 area code office phone number Oct 19 @ 12:21pm, no message.

I wonder if the new scheme is to call every number on the
"do not call list", just to see if they are still valid,
in preparation for expiring.  Once the DNCL expires,
they can do a phone spam assault on all the numbers that
forget to renew.  Since they don't seem to be marketing
anything, maybe these kinds of "empty" calls aren't against
the rules.

Also received call on my cell... I'm sure that "Janelle" is a fictional person. The address actually exists, but who knows who or if anyone actually lives there.

For the past 3 days I've received 2 calls per day from this number, but there it disconnects before I can pick it up. Tried calling back and got a fax machine so I faxed a pleasant little note. Something like, "Have a nice Day..."

I also received a call from this number at approx 3:29 PM PDT.  Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer.  I also did the Google and saw it was listed to Janelle Churilla, probably a fake name.  It is a spam call. I am occasionally annoyed by these spam calls, haven't a clue who is responsible.  If you don't recognize the number, just don't answer.

Same here did not leave a msg and I did not answer they called my cellphone
as well somthing to note I have received other calls listed in this db as well all of a sudden been gettting odd calls when answered thers knowone there, I am thinking this is a test to see if the numbers answer, so then they add your num to some kind of crazy db there keeping, food for thoght no.

Any one else start getting a bunch of these unknown nums coming in?
again not just this num I have found others listed here that are calling as well ...  strikes me as a bit strange.

Got a call from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I do not know this person, so I'm not surprised to see this number on 800notes already.
