From October 2007, I got calls from this number about 2 - 3 times a month but it was always during the day when I wasn't able answer.  My latest call was this morning and every time I call back, I get a busy tone.  I think it's ridiculous that they can continue with this and nothing is being done.  I don't remeber signing up for anything that would put my number on a call center/ sales calling list.

I just received a call from these people just now.  I tried calling the number but I got a message saying that all circuits are busy.  I just happened to do a reverse check up on the number and found that they are located in Coral Springs by the the name of BMA.

April, 2008 - I was so surprised to find this blog...surprised and grateful. I have been receiving calls from 954-575-8900. A reverse look-up revealed that it belonged to BMA from Coral Springs. I have not yet received any messages (only calls), but it is troubling. I tried calling back, but with no success. So far, there have only been 3 calls, but if they continue I may try the Florida Division of Consumer Services. I saw that "Annoyed" had done that. Maybe additional complaints will have a positive affect.

Got a recorded marketing message from them just now.  My number was on the do not call list too.  I filed a complaint with the FTC, you should do the same.

I am with you all.  It is frustrating when you are either expecting a important call or just relaxing and then you see this number calling you at all hours.  I am sick of it as well.

After reading some of the comments, I realize this is blatantly illegal... Please contact me if there is a class action lawsuit I can sign up for - youronlyae@yahoo.com

This is the first time I got this call from this number.  I called back and got a message from my cell phone carrier that says that my call cannot be completed at this time.  I decided to look up the number and see now that other people have gotten calls  from this number.  I will see if it persists.  It is so ludicrous to me that the authorities such as the FCC, the police, etc. cannot track this number to find out where it it coming from or who is doing this.

It's not the FCC, it's the FTC, that you need to file a complaint with.  These people aren't mass communications companies, i.e. news networks, radio stations, or carriers, they are simply a marketing company, and therefore fall under the FTC's jurisdiction (Federal Trade Commission), not the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

wow yea thank you all for that information, i work for geeksquad and im at work here and i get a number i was txting and my thumb hit the ignore when i was going to send, im like ohh crap at first bc i just got this new phone and number so i went back to redial it and , all circuits are busy like you all said, so i looked at teh number and the last 4 digets are 8900 so im like ok its a business or worse Capitol One Found me,ahhhhh bc im on the run with them for a year now.haha but yea so i typed it in google and i came across this, everyone says this is from coral springs, if we really want this problem solved i believe that we all should orginize a feild day trip to coral springs police department walk in and all file a complaint , the amount of paper work that they will have to do will force them to take action. 1 person isnt enough, so if everyone is interested and would like to orginize something E-mail me at Patrick.e.himebaugh@gmail.com

I started getting these calls in May when my husband and I moved cross-country and stayed in various hotels during our trip. I'm almost certain these hotels make money by selling numbers to these companies that offer a "free vacation," because I hadn't gotten ONE of these calls before and within a week of us arriving in Portland, I started getting calls for all sorts of companies offering the same type of service, if you can call it that. I've even listened to the recording and answered its questions, stating that I don't even qualify for their stupid offer. I'm starting to get really pissed off. Thank God I'll be switching cell phone carriers and getting rid of my Ft. Lauderdale number this month!

They have been calling me at least once a week at home, despite my home number being on the Do Not Call list.  Like many of you, I tried calling them back but only got a busy signal.  A class action suit sounds like a great idea!!!

I'm glad I'm able to report this number. They have been calling me frequently but they do not leave a message. I can only find out that they are listed in Pompano Beach, Fla.  The 'reverse lookup' wants 9.95 to get more info.
i do not have caller id. they are reaching my cellphone.
i hope by my submitting this report, I will no longer receive phone calls from this number.

I just called JOE SHAKTMAN - 954-298-5734 from the phone BMA has been calling me. No answer. But a minute later he called back. I asked if he was Joe Shakeman, yes - from BMA?, yes. I told him I just reported him to the do not call registry. He asked if the number I was using was the one receiving the messages - yes. "I'll take your name off the list, and you won't be called again". I told him he should get the list from the do not call registry, and that the fines were $10,000 per call. Seemed to fall on deaf ears, though.

People,
Just save the phone number on your cell and name it " SPAM" , so when the call comes in, just don't answer it.
