Is this what ur email says.....please let me know   Amount Due: $964.52

Case File #: ACS-K/74821

Case File Transferred: - March 2014

Dear Debtor,

Our company (ACS INCORP) has authorized us to recover the full amount due to them. As we put your Social Security Number into our National Checking Database System we found that you have been never charged for a fraud activity & that?s the reason Court House has decided to give you chance to take care of this issue outside the Court without having a report on your Credit History and Social Security Number.

We regret that if we do not receive your response within the next 48 hours, we shall have no alternative but to take action through your local County Court to recover the amount due together with court costs and legal fees which is approximately $3210.79.

AS YOU ARE A DEFAULTER ON THIS CREDIT UNITED LEGAL INVESTIGATION BUREAU HAS STATED 3 SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST YOU AND THEY ARE:

(1) VIOLATION OF FEDERAL BANKING REGULATION

(2) COLLATERAL CHECK FRAUD

(3) THEFT BY DECEPTION

If Court action is taken and Judgment / Decree obtained against you to recover the sum due, we may need to ask the court to make one of the following orders should the debt remain unpaid:-

?         Warrant of Execution (Exceptional Attachment Order). Seizure and sale of movable non-essential assets / property by a County Court Bailiff or Sheriff Officer

?         Attachment of Earnings base (Earnings Arrestment). Deduction from your wages by your employer or arrestment of part of your salary to satisfy the debt

The Factual Basis for the complaints is as follows:-

You agreed to return the funds from the aforementioned income advancement as per contract.

And as per the agreement the funds have yet to be returned and the collateral has proven to be null that is to say of no value.

At present, ACS INC is seeking either of the following remedies:-

All funds to be returned as per terms of initial contract

Dear Customer as we were investigating your profile, we found you to be a genuine person so it is our duty to help you out but for that we need some right answers from your side. Also we would like to know your intentions?

If you have recently settled this account, please contact us immediately to avoid further action. Otherwise, payment options are set out overleaf or alternatively call us now on +1-321.200.0134 to pay or agree a repayment plan with us.

AGAIN IF YOU WANT TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER THEN CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY THRU EMAIL OR CALL US DURING WORKING HOURS (From Monday To Friday 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM EST) on +1-321.200.0134.

NOTE: THIS CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION UNDER MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS

I receive threatening emails from this place to. They said if I dont pay a certain amount by Feb 14 then they will sue me for fraud and other stuff. They said I will be prosecuted in courthouse in Florida. Here is part of the email..... You are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within seven days at Palm Beach County Courthouse, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 against your name. Little more....... . We are in a process to inform the Social Security Administration & Major Credit Bureaus. Your SSN is put on hold by the US Government, so before the legal charges get really serious against you, we are notifying you about these legal charges. (1) VIOLATION OF FEDERAL BANKING REGULATION (2) COLLATERAL CHECK FRAUD (3) THEFT BY DECEPTION Very soon the case file will be downloaded against your name and social as After giving several notifications we did not received any response from your side. I emailed them yesterday and asked for documents from company i actually owe money to. They said they do not have any. Hmmmmmmm....yes scam. Im glad I checked into this. They say they will prosecute to scare people to pay.

I recieved this email as well and agree that it is just a scam.  First, no collection agency can press charges against any person for owing a debt, yes, they can take you to court to have your wages garnished, but they cannot press any charges or even legally threaten you with charges.  i would not respond to this email, instead I would save it in a different box in your account and save it just in case you may need it in the future.

I received an email from ACS on March 29th 2012. The email: Your account with ACS is in Final Collections. According to our records, your outstanding balance is $602.54

Do revert back if you want to get rid of these legal consequences and make a payment arrangement within the next 48 hours or else the case will be downloaded against you.

As we have shared with you in previous letters, read your loan agreement; the next step is clearly defined. It could cost us both a great deal of time and money; you can avoid this by taking care of this now.

The opportunity to take care of this voluntary is quickly coming to an end. We would hate for you to lose the option of resolving this before it goes to the next step which is a Lawsuit against you, but to do so you must take immediate action.

It is quick and easy:
Grab your debit card and call us or e-mail us right now in order to make a payment and freeze down this case.

THIS IS THE EXACT EMAIL I RECEIVED. I spoke to a "Mr. Jones" right. He was a from India. I told Mr. Jones told send me the proof, if I owe you the money. I was given two different dates. October 2010, then October 2009. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a scam.....plain and simple.  I have been plagued by these idiots for over 2 years.  Now I am getting emails.  I just save them in a special folder.  1) they do not give any information about the company - address - kind of important 2) they do not reference a person's name who they are going to sue 3) there is no such thing as "download a case"....what the hell is that crap 4) THEY ARE ALL BLOOD-SUCKING FOREIGNERS WITH HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENTS if you do speak with them.  5) They all have "American" names.   6)...."grab your debit card".  People shouldn't even respond to these b*****ds.  I have been called a "w***e", a prostitute, and had vile things said to me by these people.  I wish we could locate them because I woudln't mind a few kicks to their groin areas and to rip the tongues out of those who said such disgusting things to me.  Worse yet, my 9 year old answered the phone one day and they started saying things to him.  Pieces of human waste.

John,

You're right about their process.  I have never heard of this people ever and don't have a clue what they are seeking.  Scams are rampant.  No identifying information, but they must like that number: $4728.35.  May I also add: poorly written email for a legitimate company. Here's an excerpt:

"Grab your debit card and call us or e-mail us right now in order to make a payment and freeze down this case.  It is quick and easy."

So is the delete button.  Funny.

Same thing... this guys (Jason Patrick) have been calling in threats for more than a year and they obtained my info through a inquiry on a on line Pay Day Loan what they did not know is that I work for a real Pay Day Loan place so I know my rights. He asked me how dare I used the word scam and hunged up after I informed him that it was not at all legal for him to use those types of threats but that it was very legal for me to sue them for harrasment and false accusations of debt and that I would track them down where ever and how ever I could.

I received an e-mail from this company stating I had a balance of $812.25 and I could call with a debit card or they would sue me for $4728.35 if I didn't take care of the balance. The funny thing is, there was nothing to identify that the e-mail was even intended for me. No name or any other info. So when they sue me, I will take a copy of the e-mail with me to show the judge. I am thinking the judge will have some interesting words for this company! Of course you know they will ask to appear by phone so they can't be arrested! What a scam!!

I received calls this week from these people and then an email this morning. When I replied to the email to tell then that I was confused they sent back an email stating it was a payday loan that I owed and that my computer IP address had been traced. I simply told them that my attorney wanted copies of whatever they had, and I have not heard from them again.
This is certainly a scam and they can really scare the heck put of you if you let them. Do not give into them!

Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>
