I too keep receiving these calls. We answer and say State Police Barracks. It stops them real fast. Or you can say Town of ------ Police Station.

Never answer any call you don't recognize or doesn't identify themselves on your caller ID. I don't even let it ring through to a voice mail. Just click on/off real fast on your phone and you have a good chance to disrupt the robo-dialer system these thieves are using. There out there and there ever ready to steal your ID or money.

Same as Jarbob for me, cept i never made it to the live agent, i hit 1 to talk to someone (and was gunna ream them out) then the call just ended

I keep getting unwanted calls from this number and would like to be removed from the list.

Got a call from this number, with its So. Florida area code.   Answered and immediately hit the "#" key.  Supposedly, this kicks your number out of a computer system.

Agree, "Do Not Call" is worthless.

The Do No Call list is a worthless waste of your time.

Unsolicited prerecorded call about dealing with IRS back taxes, etc. The message started saying I could opt out at anytime by pressing "1" or something like that. The second they said "take an action that we can actually verify you're a human being answering this line" I hung up.

I just received a call from this number 954-606-5548. It sounded like an automated recording talking about IRS penalties and how they could help. Ironically, the call mentioned almost an exact amount I have in one of my  bank accounts. I thought that was odd. How could they possibly know this unless they somehow work directly in the bank or is working a scam with someone who works directly in a bank? I immediately hung up the phone.

Just received a call from the same number a few minutes ago. Tried calling it back to see who it was and it was busy. I haven't applied for anything lately and  don't have anything with Citibank. Very aggravating!

Just called. Left no message.  They sure are calling around a whole bunch! My number is also on the DNC list for whatever good that does...

just got a call on my cell from this number at 6:41pm on 6-16-11.  did not answer and they did not leave a message...i too registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST and guess that didnt work :(

I got a call from this number about a half an hour ago. I went to call it back and it said that the number does not exist. Glad to know it's spam and not someone calling me about a job in Florida.

Got a call, which I was ignoring.  I picked up the phone to dial *69 to see the number and google it (I don't have caller ID) and heard part of the recorded message about the IRS and interest and penalties.  Since I had a bit of a screwup paying my taxes, I pressed one to wait for a representative.  Someone came on line and said this is WCA and asked if I was interested free evaluation.  Realizing immediately they were NOT the IRS, I said, "no", and hung up.

When I said, "Hello", there was silence.  I repeated several times then said, "I have this number on caller ID," and it hung up.

I just got a call from this number, too.  I only owe doctor bills as I have cancer and am on disability.  I put my number on the DO  NOT CALL list.....so much for that!

Stop calling me...the phone rings when I say hello they hang up.

My Caller ID display said the number calling was: INTL WCA 954-606-5548.  But my phone's voicemail said the number calling was: PRA (18007721413).

I have Visual Voicemail.  The translation from voice to text isn't always accurate, but this is what it said: "This message is for Stacy. You're not Stacy do not listen to this message further. Stacy, this is Tony recovery Associates, a debt collector. Please call Mark 86642865890 10 to collect a debt by debt collector and any information obtained will be used for that purpose"

Obviously this is some shady scumbag scamming bill collector (hiding their number? Come on!  What legitimate business does something like that?!?), I am not going to waste my time on them and just added their number to my BLOCKED CALLER LIST.  Have fun leaving messages on my voicemail from now until eternity... LOSERS!

Just got off the phone with them. 1st it's a recorded message about a free $100 Walmart giftcard, then stay on the line too be connected to a scammer, oops I mean represenative. I stayed on the line since I wanted more info to file a complaint.  

It's some scam to get you buy magazines.   Got what info I could out of her.  She told me the company is Edison Publishing although caller ID show Intl WCA and claimed I filled out some form online for them to call me - Yeah, right liar.  I then informed her I was filing a 'Do Not Call' violation as we spoke.  

I'm pretty sure I got a call from the group about a month ago too after reading thru here.  Different number but Caller ID was also WCA something and it was some IRS scam that time.  

I filed a complaint on that call also.  I STRONGLY encourage eveyone here that is on the 'Do Not Call' registry to please file a complaint against these scammers and get them shut down.

I just got a call from this number, when I said hello no one said anything so I hung up. Caller I-d said unknown.

Same, came in on call waiting.  I did not pick up and they left no voicemail.  Reading these responses I will not be calling back.

I just received a call from this number (6/16/2011 @ 2:50 pm).  Caller ID said "INTL WCA", with phone number 954-606-5548.  They left no message on my voice mail (surprise!).  I too, am on the Do Not Call list.  Lotta good that does!  I'm wondering if some of these callers have themselves listed as non-profits and such.  They do not have to abide by the Do Not Call list.

Just received a call on my cell phone (even though I am supposedly registered on the federal DO NOT CALL LIST) wanting to send a computer - I just hung up - don't want them wasting my air time.  If this was on my land line I would just leave the phone of the hook until they went away.

I do the same thing. I figure if they need me they will leave a message or call back agian. I also google the number to see if it was a spam call.
