Seriously, I receive three calls a day all from different numbers. Every time I hit the button to be added to the DNC list but obviously it is not working. They just call me from another number. I am thinking about filing a law suit if they refuse to stop, it's getting crazy. I have even thought about chaning my number.....Congress has got to do something about these types of companies.

We are not responsible for any of these calls.
My Alliance Security Systems only does business in Louisiana not in any other state.
We have never used any company to make telemarketing calls. We do all of our calls our self, The number that we dial from is (225) 292-6100
We scrub every number through the Federal and State Do Not Call databases and in 5 years of telemarketing have never had a DNC compliant.
This is the Alliance Security making the calls -> http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/se ... las-tx-90393103

Success. Found out Monotronics executives emails and sent them an all a nasty email. They responded and first said that they do not make the calls but I said they employ the company that makes the calls and they could instruct them to stop. I the get a call from Alliance Security who was the seller with the same story that they do not make the calls so I again pressed that they employ the company that makes the calls. He said that he would contact the company and if they had 3 complaints in 3 months they would no longer do business with them. Then I got a call back from the Alliance guy saying that Monotronics said that if I desired they would have to stop doing business with the company (Naco) that was robo calling me. I might still get calls but I removed one of their sources of income.

I have recieved 30+ calls from ISI alarms Inc. of Mooresville NC. Earlier today when they called I said yes to thier pitch. When the installer came I explained I did not want the alarm only to stop the calls. He was not very happy. This made me feel good.

We all get the calls trying to give us a security system. I've asked to be removed from their call list. They just keep calling. I now do something different. I send them to FAKE addresses all over town with FAKE names. They ask for my birthdate, I say I won't give out on phone. I know I am pissing them off for once they see my number they are hanging up. I have even had a few get so mad and tell me I am wasting their time... That makes my day. 206 333 4004 from Seattle calls a lot trying tp sell free security systems.

Whoever is behind these scams need to have their legs broken. Better results than DNC, I bet!

I got an illegal robocall from Security Promotions (or something similar, it begins with a message about FBI reports about home break-ins) on Tuesday. I pretended interest, and their representative said somebody would call me back. I soon received a call from Alliance Home Protection from 214-452-0004 per Call Return, which I verified by calling back to make sure it was not a spoofed number.
I told AHP what the situation was, and they said they got my phone number from Data Guru. I provided this information to the FTC, and told the FTC that Alliance Home Protection knows who made the illegal robocall.
Now we have a solid lead on this robocaller (Data Guru), and maybe we can get it shut down.

Florida's fraud watchdog muzzled
Tampa Bay Times Editorial, Saturday, July 28, 2012
?Even as Florida was leading the nation in mortgage fraud, Tom Grady thought it wise to close half the state's regional offices charged with investigating the mortgage business. As head of the Office of Financial Regulation, Grady, a millionaire securities lawyer, took a bulldozer to the place, slashing office resources and personnel, including fraud investigators, and ousting a veteran administrator to put a crony of the governor's in his place. ..Grady was handpicked by Gov. Rick Scott, a neighbor in Naples, to take over as commissioner of OFR, the state agency that oversees and investigates mortgage brokers, banks and securities firms. He shares Scott's government-cutting, antiregulation ethos, and during his short tenure moved aggressively to pare back the office's physical presence throughout the state. Florida is known as a hotbed of mortgage and financial fraud. Fort Lauderdale is home to so many scammers it's known as "Fraud Lauderdale." But Grady, a former conservative Republican legislator, led the effort to chop more $3.5 million from the agency by eliminating 81 positions including investigators and closing regional offices in Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Pensacola and Fort Lauderdale.?

Aggressive Telemarketing

See my reply to 'Jen' on 11May12.
This tactic got my number blacklisted on my home number.
Good luck.
OhioCop 2012-05-18 21:25:57 Unknown
That usually means that the number that came up on caller ID was 'spoofed' (another number was intentionally programmed by the caller to be displayed). This is done to 1) help avoid prosecution, and 2) to get around call blocking (they change their spoofed numbers frequently).
The best thing you can do is act interested, lead them on and then tell them that you live with the home owner and that you will go get him/her. Let them hang on the line, wasting their time. Telemarketers must make a certain number of calls/sales each day, so wasting their time is a sure way to get your number 'blacklisted' and taken out of their database.

what dumbass keeps calling
broncfly 2012-05-15 22:13:06 Unknown
Calls all the time but I never answer. Never any messages left. The late night calls to the home number are getting out of control!
OhioCop 2012-05-15 21:25:04 Telemarketer
Caelled with the message, "DO NOT HANG UP. a HOME HAS BEEN BURGLARIZED IN YOUR AREA. SOMEONE HAS GIVEN US YOUR NAME. WE WILL INSTALL A SECURITY SYSTEM AT NO CHARGE.... etc."
I connected with "Michelle". While she refused to tell me where she was calling from, she did provide the following:
The alarm company name is "Security Solutions". (She would not disclose where they are based out of other then, "we're nationwide".
I asked where the monitoring office is located. She said that it was with Qualcom. (She wouldn't say where they are located, either.)
The alarm system uses a cellular connection. you are charges $35-40 monthly.
To get my number blacklisted, I asked a lot of questions, and then said that the relative I live with owns the home and was talking the other day about they would feel safer if they had an alarm. I told "Michele" that as soon as my relative got the clothes out of the dryer, she would come to the phone. "Michele" stayed on the line for 17 minutes.
Unfortunately, filing complaints don't seem to do much good. My suggestion is to lead them on, and get them to wait for the homeowner. The telemarketer will blacklist your number and stop calling.

Did not take call, but now that I know this is a SPAM call, I will record the number in my cell phone under SPAM - Do Not Answer. I have a log for each area code and prefix, and I just keep recording these idiot phone numbers. Sooner or later, they'll get the idea I just won't respond to their tactics.

Called on my DNC cell phone, rang five times and hung up -didn't leave message.

Answered and got a recording that was somewhat threatening about home invasions. They are selling fear. I'm on the do not call list but apparently that does no good. There are always predators looking for an easy meal and our government is powerless or indifferent.
dontgothere 2012-05-11 22:38:05 Unknown
you need to actually FILE the complaint so the FTC knows these turds are NOT using the do not call list.
