This woman called my office phone claiming to be childhood friends with another one of our employees and that she was going out of business and was offering me office supplies at wholesale since she was friends with my co-worker.  The call sounded fishy so I googled the number that came up on the caller ID and this is what I found.  Then when I told her I would have to get approval and when I asked if I could call her back she told me that she would have to call me back.  Then she abruptly hung up.

ALL STATES OFFICE SUPPLY, INC. is the new company name they are operating under. This company has the same address as South Bay Office Products. They are trying to scam our company right now. We caught it and will not pay for unordered supplies. I have reported them to the Florida BBB and will now report them to the Florida Attorney General who handled the cases under their previous company name. Shame on these people.

There is no length the company will not go to in their attempt to stay in business - I should say, there is nothing they will resort to that is not dishonest and illegal. My advice to all legimate businesses out there is to NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SOUTH BAY OFFICE PRODUCTS, OFFICE ETC. OR OFFICE PRODUCTS MANAGEMENT.

OFFICE ETC is a scam!!! They talk you into ordering items by the dozen and send more than you did not ask for in the first place.The products are also sub par!! A TOTAL SCAM full of employees that could not find work at a real company. Richard Holof the owner is an a**!! Some girl named tatiana tried to sell me some pens at a dozen x a dozen...she sounded stoned or drunk!
BOTTOM LINE HANG UP ON OFFICE ETC!!

There are only three entries on this blog by the host, who raves about the company's services while claiming he received supplies from them. This in itself should raise a red flag for anyone visiting the website with the intention of ordering from them. Also, there is no identifying information on the site (telephone/fax number, business address, email address) other than the business name, and no customer service link.

It's amazing that they're still doing this! Looks like they're not about to stop their scam until the company executives are arrested.

My advice to you would be to store the boxes in a corner of the office, with a note advising your coworkers not to use supplies from the box. I'm sure a rep from SBOP will eventually call you back when they don't receive payment for the supplies. At that time, stress to them that you did not order the supplies and will not pay for them; if they want the supplies back, they must send you prepaid shipping labels to return the boxes to them.

Received a phone call today from a Lee Hanson saying his company is moving from Allentown, PA to Florida under the new name of South Bay Office Products, Inc. and went through a list of supplies for me to order supposedly at really discounted prices.  He told me that he was to contact me by our controller.  I told him we do not have room for those quanities of supplies & he kept insisting he was sending them & said the supplies would arrive prior to receiving an invoice.  I have instructed any one at the company to refuse delivery from this company as I now have found out it is really a big scam.

SCAM...Big Time!!!  Same thing happened to me......I did not place an order........ but received four huge boxes full of supplies that would take us 10 years to go through. Now I refuse to spend our companies money to send these boxes back.....and the telephone number on the packing slip 954-834-5370...no answer left a message.........googled and WOW.......all these complaints on this company and the BBB gave them a F-why are they still doing business???.........I was also understood that if your scammed you don't have to send the supplies back or pay the invoice.  How about they come here to the office personally and pick up the supplies if they need them I am not wasting my time on these supplies this is there business to get these supplies back. South Bay Office Products was very helpful with helping me choose the office supplies we needed.  Great pricing and a very big selection of office products with reasonable shipping costs and fast delivery.  Sales staff was knowledgeable and professional and I would buy from them again.  South Bay Office Products  will fulfill all your office supply needs and services and has a great customer service department.

Obviously, Jamie Decker and Jamie Cooper are one and the same. Employees of South Bay Office Products have posted positive reviews of the company on other sites, but the posts have been removed on one site. South Bay has been given a D- rating by BBB.

The number cited by Minnesota (954-834-5370) is actually the company number, which is included on the shipping labels when they send supplies to the victims of their scams. If you receive an order from South Bay which you did not intentionally order, call the company to obtain return labels. Do not return the shipment at your own expense.

South Bay Office Products is a family-owned business operated by Richard Holof, who lives in Coral Springs, FL. Harry Holof is the company's vice president. They have operated under various names over the years (no, it is not a new business nor new tactics) and changed locations several times. These people have no ethics whatsoever (they are probably looking "ethics" up in a dictionary now); they flat out lie in an effort to bilk your company out of thousands of dollars.

I just got a call from Jamie Cooper, he assured me that he had talked to our CFO about ordering supplies. He told me he knew that he was moving his office, etc. - same as all the other stories. When I asked him to send me an email with the information he told me that his computer and everything was packed up. I then asked him for a phone number and he gave me his wife's # - 954-834-5370.  After checking with my CFO, who had never heard of him I called the number to make sure that they were not going to send any supplies - I got a recording.  I have notified our receiving department to not accept anything from this company. Do not be fooled - the initial call came from a number that came up unknown.

South Bay Office Products is a great place to buy discounted office supplies.  Our company has placed many orders and we have never had any problems.  Great prices and selection, quick shipping and wonderful customer service.  I would buy from them again.
