I received the same weird phone call today. The guy was very rude and demanding. He said his name was Kevin with Sun Energy. When I said our plant manager was away from his desk he procceded to tell me I was not on top of my game and he thought he was there. Then did not want to leave a number. After I hung up I remembered getting a similar call last week. So I did a little google research on company and phone number and found this! I'm ready for him tomorrow!

Forwarded from the Operator.  Same scam - apologized for not having the time talk the last time we met, and had a heart attack since (at age 48).  Talked a lot and when I was finally able to get a word in saying that I thought he had the wrong person, he claimed we had talked and that he was from Sun Energy.  Gave the scam of asking for my address to send a gift as an apology.  Finally mentioned that his company made cleaning products.  I said that I was in engineering, and had nothing to do with building maintenance.  He then became obnoxious asking if I didn't wash my hands after using the bathroom, and saying I had "stinky fingers".  Total jerk.

This caller is RUDE and OBNOXIOUS (said his name was Kevin)!!!! He calls and asks for people by first name and when asked what company he is calling from....lol......he said he was from my company Division which I know he is not :-) we have 8 Divisions here at our location. When I said "I don't think so" he told me I was wrong and he wanted my name.......PLEASE STOP THESE CALLS

It seems this moron always calls on a Friday.  He's very rude and calls me a liar!  He told me once that he was going to come to my business to find out what is going on around here!  I told him to, "Bring it!"  TOTAL IDIOT!!  He called me this morning, he hung up pretty quickly today.

Same message. Bill Davis from Sun Energy. Said we spoke before but I didn't have time for him and he had a heart attack playing golf with his wife since. Wanted my home address to send a carving set for company's 30th anniversary. I told him I didn't remember him and when I question him on when he met me and he gave me dates that were before I worked with company. He hung up quickly at that point.

Same message in RI. "We spoke before, I had a heart attack while golfing with my wife, my boss wants to send you a cutlery set."  If you get this person tell him to pack sand immediately! He used the name Bob Davis.

Very RUDE!!!  Identified himself as Bill Ross wanted director of operations.  When I advised that he was out of the office he asked for his cell phone number.  When I advised that I can take his name and number and give to director he became very irate and stated he had to go into a meeting and that he needed his cell phone number immediately.  Of course when I wouldn't give it to him he hung up.

Same message here!!!!

"Charlie Johnson" from Sun Energy products. I told him I did not remember him and he hung up. I have received 5 - 6 calls over the past 5 years. These guys are bad scammers...not even clever. I hope somebody catches on to their act and puts them out of business.

Same call.  Guy has called three times in three weeks.  Same Modus operandi as all above reports.  I told him to take my name of his list and not to call again.

Hung up on me after I asked him what his company manufactures.  He was really fishing for our plant manager's name.  He didn't get it as I wasn't born yesterday.

Keeps calling and claims to have talked to you before. Never gets around to what he's trying to sell, just trash talks.

They called looking for our "plant manager".  When I tried to ask who was calling he was reluctant to give out any information.  I played along with him but I didn't believe a word he said.  He eventually hung up on me.

Same B***s*** from 3 different people!  Said he spoke to me, but that i was really busy at the time.  Told me, "Hey, I'm not sure if you heard, I was in the hospital, I had a heart attack on the boat with my two young sons.  It was very scary for all of us."  He went on to tell me that he had a nice carving set that he wanted to get to me and told me that he needs my home address to deliver.  I told him to send it to my work and he said, "We can't do that!"  I said, "Then i don't need it!"  He wanted to give me some complimentary industrial hand soap for free usage and that he would bill me 6 months later.  Wanted my billing information!  I told him to get F****d!   Same guy called back 6 months later!  I told him to get f****d immediately.  Now a 3rd guy calls and i f****d with him!  I told him i was busy because i just won the lottery!  I told the guy i needed to call him back!  he gave me some b***s*** number, so i guess he's been winning the lottery also!  Don't get screwed by these scammers!

Had this company MB Industries call my house 8 times already since 9:40 this am. It is now 11:00am est. They have repeatedly called, from several different #'s all of which I have recorded time and date stamp. I am a residence, and this is ridiculous. They never answer, and when I answer, all I get is a bunch of beeps.

Same as above, "Bob Larsen" hospital stay. heart attack. etc...

Did it again... different person posing as Bob Larsen and apologizing for not getting back sooner. Still blaming it on a lengthy hospital stay from a heart attack. This time he offered to send a "beautiful carving set, along with some business cards, to my home so that I would think of him to order chemicals". Didn't respond when I told him that this was the same call I got a few days ago from a different Bob Larsen from the same company.

Bob larsen from Sun Energy Products... said he talked to me months ago about chemicals and I put him off because we were busy and he could not get back to me sooner because he had been in the hospital due to a heart attack. Didn't even make it to the home address part... when I asked him to help refresh my memopry about our prior conversation, he asked who the plant manager or operations manager was at this location. I responded that he would have known that from our previous conversation, if there in fact had been one, and the S.O.B hung up. Will not answer when the number is called back.

Received a phone call from 'John' from 'Sun Energy' today. Same story.. had a heart attack and apologizes for not following up earlier.. wants to get a meeting together.. he's going to take me out for lunch on his corporate credit card.. in the meantime he'd like to send me a wine set and wanted my home address.. lol

Same Scam.  Twice now, both times they tried to get my home address.

Direct call to my cell phone from this number. Claimed we met last February and had since suffered a heart attack on a golf course. Wanted to send a complimentary carving set and Kodak camera to my home. Also wanted to give me some free hand cleaning product but then asked where to send the invoice

I just had the same call. Except I told him he was in a meeting, could I take a message. Of course he said no, and he would call back later. Then I tried to call the number back and imagine this, No one answered!! How convenient!

Different callers inquire as to who the Plant Manager is.  After they are transferred to him, they tell him has won a prize and try to elicit his home information.  They call numerous times.  He wanted them reported to the Better Business Bureau.  We will be doing that.
