Got a call asking for one of our directors...  When asked his name he said it very fast and it was hard to understand him.  When asked to repeat he became very rude and "YELLED" BILL ROTH with SEP!.  When I returned he hung up when I advised that he was not in our office.  VERY RUDE!!!

Got a call from this number. Asked for our director... Gentleman very rude!  Talked very fast and hard to understand name and company.  When asked to repeat name and company he "YELLED" his name Bill Roth with SEP?  When I returned to the phone to advise that our director was out of the office he hung up.

Got a call from a man who said his name was Jim Morrison from Morrison Industrial (I doubt it) wanting to know the name of our plant manager.  When I questioned him as to the nature of the call so I could properly direct it, he got beligerent and said he wasn't going to argue with me because I was just a "BOZO Secretary"!

Male caller said he was from Sun Energy trying to sell cleaning supplies.  When told we were not interested he became abusive.  Same caller has made other abusive calls from another number.  Very belligerent to receptionist.  Gave the name SCOTT on one occasion.  Calls multiple times a day.

A guy called me and zeroed out to the Operator, when I did not answer.  The operator got hold of me on my cell and wanted to know if she should give him my direct number.  I asked who it was and she said John and that I would know who it was.  I have a friend named John, but was busy, so I told the operator to get the number and call me back.  John did not leave a number and said that he would call back.  The Operator said that the whole tone of the call was very strange.  It was not my friend John and I know of no other John that I do not work with.

Called asking the plant managers name. When I asked his name, he gave John Davis. When asked what company he was from, he got VERY rude & told me to answer the question. When I told him he didn't need to be rude, he asked me if I knew the definition of rude. He continued to be VERY beligerent & I told him that since he insists on continuing to be rude, that I was ending the call. I hung up. He proceeded to call right back. The plant manager recongized the company who scams people, told them not to call back & told him what he thought of his products, then Mr. Davis hung up on us.

Correction: Caller ID name was MBI Industries.  Googling the name produces a result for a company with the same name which sells cleaning products and also has a marketing company with a similar name.

Female caller claimed to be calling from Bell Construction regarding work we would be doing for them.  As we are a contractor and typically hire companies to work for US rather than the other way around, this sounded suspicious from the start.  She asked to speak with our operations manager.  When asked to clarify as to the nature of her business (we screen calls due to the high volume of telemarketers), she became abusive and threatening.  She refused to answer questions and became openly insulting, saying "you obviously don't know how to answer phones for a construction company" and "don't worry your pretty little head", as she would find someone else to give business to.

Since the name on the caller ID did not match the name she gave me, and since the number was obviously not local, I believe this is a telemarketing agency, hired to use any means necessary, including lying, to speak with "decision-makers".  This company has called before, and they have been rude and hostile on every occasion.  Perhaps someone should let them know that being rude to the receptionist is the quickest way to ensure that you will NEVER speak to anyone else in the company nor get our business.
