Answered out of curiosity (usually a bad idea, I find), and got a hang-up.

I've been receiving this phone call as well for the past few days. I have not picked up at all. This is really awkward considering that I have a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida phone call my cellphone in New York City.

I dont know anyone in Florida, nor have I scheduled any appointments for eyecare, nor do I have ever visited Pearle Vision as some people claim here.

Whoever it is, whatever it is, its beginning to get annoying.

I have been getting calls from this number since my family went to Pearl Vision last week.  It is getting annoying as they never leave a message.  I'm calling Pearl to see if they can remove me from this list.

I'm in the 314 area.

I got a call from this number about 9:00 a.m. I didn't answer as I was having breakfast.  They did not leave a message.  I looked up the area code online and it said that is a FL area code.  I have an 810 area code. Hope this helps.  I am also a Perle Vision Customer. Other than that, I don't know.

Was a call from Pearle Vision - telling me I missed my exam and wanted to reschedule - I was there, don't know what they're talking about.

They started calling me Saturday, one time per day and never leave a message.

I just was awoken by this number and didn't answer.....after reading all the comments it sounds very strange....i don't plan on answering.

I called this number back and it is a eye appointment reminder line.  They give you the option to be placed on the "do not call" list.  I would recommend everyone does it.

I recv'd a call from 954-678-4803 and didn't answer.  I also did a reverse # lookup and rec'vd the same FL results as posted.  However, various posts state they had eye appts at Pearl Vision and Lenscrafters.  I haven't.  I had an eye appt a year ago around this date at DOC that I didn't keep.  What's really weird is that I just recv'd a post card from DOC to remind me of an appt that I didn't schedule and now the phone calls.

Yes, I got the call again today and it is to remind me of my annual appt. for my eye exam. It was legitimate because it was for the place I went to last year.

Lense Crafters must have bought out the place that I went to.

i just got a call from this number and i didn't recognize it so i sent it to voicemail. i did a call back with hiding my number and it says something about a eye care appointment reminding system and if you want to be removed from their reminding system to leave your name and phone number.

SOUNDS FISHY!

i did a reverse lookup on the phone number and it says it is located in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. i also just emailed Pearl to see if they were associated with that number. i haven't heard from them but i will post again as soon as i do.

My wife just started getting these calls as well. She tried to answer the first time and didn't get an answer. It sounds too risky to try and call back.

Verizon said that they have no way of blocking calls.

We DID go to Pearle Vision last year around this time, but I would think their automated system would leave a message. I wonder if someone stole some of Pearle Vision's info (since I've heard SO MANY stories about company laptops getting stolen recently), and is making some calls based on what information they've found. Who knows?

Yeah I have been receiving calls from 954-678-4803 all day and sometimes all night. Anyone have any ideas who to call and report this?

i have returned called this nmber and they identfiy as "icare" or "eye care" and they give you the option of being taken of their calling list but when you opt out they call more.

I've also received these calls several times a day from 954-678-4803, and am in Michigan. The only thing is everyone is saying it is for Pearle Vision rescheduling. I used a reverse lookup on this number and it was identified as a residence, not a commercial call, and the calls come from the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. Not exactly where I would expect to be confirming my eye appointment since I live in Michigan.

I would at least make your phone providers aware, and perhaps Pearle Vision too.

I've been getting numerous calls from 954-676-3350 over the past few days, which I do not answer and they do not leave a message (3x per day). So this new number 954-678-4803 calls, I decide to answer this one and get a hang up.

Got a call from  9546784803 at 9 p.m. cst last night. I said hello several times with no response. I hung up. Who is this?

I also received a call from 954-678-4803, 12-27-07 at 1040am.  I did not pick up and no message was left.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list so it shouldn't be a telemarketer.  Did anyone try calling it back?  

Do we all have similar area codes?  I am 616...

I just got a call from the 954.678.4803 as well.  I also did not pick up as I didn't recognize the number.  Creepy.

Called twice a day for the last week, never leaves messages. Called twice today, a Saturday. I Called them back from a house phone, said it was I Care appointment reminder?!?

This #'s been calling me at least 3 times a day, sometimes only a half hour apart. i dont answer phone #s that i dont know, and they never leave a message.

I just got a call from this number, too.  Though they called my cell, and I happened to be on my other phone at the time, so I didn't pick up.  No message left either.  

Is this all Michigan people that are getting called by this number?  My area code is 248.

Update.  This afternoon they called again & I answered.  They wanted to reschedule my eye appointment that I missed yesterday with Pearle Vision.  However, I actually made it to my eye appointment, so I don't know why they had the info wrong.  They claimed that they would update their info.  Hopefully that's the end of the calls for me.

I just received 2 calls today from this number, which I didn't pick up, but no messages were left.  I haven't made any recent appointments for anything, and the fact that other people are getting calls from this number is creepy.  My area code is 734.

I am tempted to believe this is a spam/hacker calling. I started receiving calls from this number on Tuesday, Feb 5, and now have received a grand total of 14 calls that I refuse to answer.

I think it's not just coincidental we have all been receiving these calls within this very short period of time. Maybe someone hacked the Pearle Vision database, and now they're hacking our phones when we answer the calls. I have no ties to Pearle Vision (no eye issue). I had a friend just told me he received the hang up call from this number a week or so ago, and he answered (instead of letting it go to voicemail). Now, I know of three mutual friends that are receiving these calls.

I'm from the 248 area code. I'm calling Verizon to have this number blocked.

I've gotten a few no-message calls from this number too.  People above mention Pearle Vision.  About a year ago, I had an appointment there.  About a week ago, I got a postcard in the mail from them asking about an appointment.  That seems to be what this is.

I recieved this call yesterday, no message either. Weird.
