It is Lenscrafter.  I've been receiving calls for the past few weeks, but I just ignored them and nobody left a message.  I finally decided to answer and it was a lady in Florida (third party call center) telling me that I was due for my annual eye exam at Lenscrafter.  She was able to tell me the date of my last appointment, which was one year ago.

I told her to take me off the list, and I'd call the store directly if I'm ready for another exam.

two missed calls from this number, two different days but within 10 minutes of one another (1:30 pm and then 1:20 pm); no VM left either time

2 calls, a few hours apart today, and it looks like it has been a year since I got glasses (at lenscrafters)  No messages or anything, just 2 lonely missed calls.

This number kept popping up on my cell phone, so I called it.  It is "Appointment Reminder Service".  In my case, it was Lens Crafters reminding me I am due for my annual eye exam.  I told the nice lady at the other end of the phone to remove my number from their list.

well all this makes sense cause i did went to lenscrafters a year ago and i got a card in the mail why don't they just call once and leave a message. what's with all the annoying calls?

Thanks for this, I have been going nuts with early moring calls. I have missed 4 calls no message. That makes sense, I had a lenscrafters appt about a year ago. What a crappy service reminder. Its spooky. I was too scared to call back its seemed weird.

i received constant calls from this very same number starting yesterday morning and it was quite annoying. like everyone, no messages were left and the calls were persistent..every 15-20 mins.  i decided to return the call on my way home from work figuring it was after hours since i'm in california and 954's florida and it was an eye care reminder service, but i didn't leave my name or number 'cause i wasn't sure if it was legit.

I just received a call from this #.  No message.

I just started getting this call at the same time daily.  I called it back and the recording says Eye Care appt reminder.  I think its Lenscrafter.  Its been exactly a year since I had an eye exam and bot glasses.  I did not set up an appt though.  And I am on a do not call list.

I called the number back and it is indeed some eye care appointment reminder.  It goes right to a recording that states if you want to be added to their do not call list to enter your phone # at the beep.  The whole thing is so fishy I didn't enter my phone #.

I also was getting calls from this number every 10-20 minutes.  I called it back at 5:45am, and got a recording for an eye appointment reminder service.

They call ALL THE TIME and never leave a damn message.  Who??

God damn this number drive me crazy. they call me around noon. And every 20min I get call from this number.

This is NOT a LensCrafters calling.  It is a debt collector.  They called my office looking for a former dead-beat employee that hasn't worked here for YEARS.  Plus why would a LensCrafters in Georgia call us in Texas???  They are lying & just trying to figure out if the person they are looking for is there or not.
Tell them to screw off & hang up.  Ignore any additional calls

I received two phone calls from this number. The first I answered then hung up because I don't talk to numbers I don't recognize. The second time the woman left a message. She said she was calling from JC Penney eye center and she was trying to confirm my appointment. I have NEVER visited a JCP eye center and if I would have, it would not be from the area code she stated. Which was a 323 number. I immediately thought this was a person trying to obtain personal information from me. So I did a reverse look up on the internet and found that this was a land line in Florida. Now, why the heck would a JCP from Florida be calling me to confirm an appointment in California?

I received a call from this number 3:30 am in the early morning and they stated that a lock has been placed on my debit card account and I should press one to correct the problem. I hung up the phone and did not proceed any further.  I know when my card company calls because there is always a live voice on the other end and not a recording as you get during the elections to vote for a candidate. Account OK and not locked.

I got a call from this number today.  After reading this very helpful page I think the LensCrafters thing is correct.  I did not make an appointment but I got a notice in the mail last week saying it was time for my 1 year check up.  It makes sense to me that they would call to set up an appointment.  I am so glad for this site.  I didn't even know it existed but now that I do I'll use it all the time

Same thing happened to me.  I've been getting calls but they never leave a message.  Then today they left a message saying that I had an appointment at lenscrafters (which i didn't make)

Yes, I agree with the previous posters. It is Lens Crafters I called them back at this number and asked them to remove my name fro their system. They stated that I will no longer be receiving phone calls from them.

I have firsthand experience with this company. AW refers to a company called "Artesian Water," who sells water filtration systems to home owners. They'll come and do "tests" on your tap water and compare it to their filtered water to sell you the pricey system. In exchange for referral names, they promise a "gift" in the way of a gas card or whatever. After three years and dozens of phone calls, they have still not delivered on the "gift." Yes, it's a scam to get you to buy, but good luck on getting anything from them....

{No Name} Hung up after two rings, left no message.  Checked here to see what it was---and it appears they are a call-center for Lenscrafters, calling about a yearly appointment I set up.  Friendly people, they are just calling to confirm appts.  They can schedule another day, cancel and update your records if you need them to.

got a call 10 am, no message

Called the 800-913-7437 number for the second time to be removed from thier list after getting a call just a few minutes ago. The guy this time ansered "Gift Deppartment", and said my name will be removed. Just now as I started typing this, the woman I spoke with on the 25th called me! She claims that it's just the two of them working in that office, and that my number must be under a different name. I provided the NAME that the phone belongs to. The lady again said it will take 48! YES, 48 hours for the calls to stop.

After doing some research at the Schaumburg BBB today, it looks like these guy's main scam right now is to attach notes and fliers to doors and mail boxes claiming the resident has missed a package. The flier claims "call the number to get your free gift". This must be the 800 number above. The then set up a time to come out to do an in-house water test. Afterwards they HARD SELL you some type of water softner sytem. People report that they never get the free gift, spoken of in the original flier.

I received a call from this number. Silent...I hung up.

Last year I went to a Lenscrafters in Massachusettes, not Cali.
