I fully agree with you; see my previous two posts here.  Yet another woman phoned today on behalf of her producer -- Chris Goldstein -- about doing a story on our company.  Having now received four calls from these people, I told her that based on the prior inquiries, there was no interest.  She was either genuinely confused or a good actress, claiming to have nothing to do with those other shows.  She read off her phone number to disprove any association with them, but I paid attention to only what was on Caller ID at that moment.  Think now they'll take the hint and not call back?  As they say on TV, stay tuned.

Jeff Stewart from a "home improvement" TV show called our VP-Marketing on behalf of his producer, Chris Goldstein.  I told him that the VP was out of the office for a while, so rather than leave his number, he decided to call at a later date.  Obviously, he was unaware that the console has Caller ID -- and how many people and companies do without that anymore?

Linda from "The Balancing Act"  wanted to speak with a particular sales manager.  I asked what in reference to, and she said, ?We?re a morning talk show on Lifetime, and I?m calling on behalf of my producer.?  This reminded me of a call we received last December, so I put her on hold to check my records, but she hung up after a few seconds.  See my post on 800notes for 954-979-8323.

NO REALLY THOUGH, RUSS CROSSMAN WAS THE NAME THEY USED AND THE BALANCING ACT ON LIFETIME TV IS THE SHOW THEY PROMISED TO GET ME ON.  I'M WAITING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, THEY HAVEN'T YET ASKED ME FOR ANY MONEY BUT I'M SURE IT'S COMING SOON, LIKELY AFTER I FOUND OUT TO BE THE LUCKY ONE WHO WAS SELECTED TO BE FEATURED.  I CAN SENSE WHEN SOMETHING DOESN'T ADD UP FROM A MILE AWAY AGAINST THE WIND AND A TV SHOW CHARGING A BUSINESS TO AIR A SEGMENT ON THEM JUST DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT NOW DOES IT?!!  
BUT IF IT DOES ADD UP THINK OF ME AND LIQUIDATE ALL ASSETS NOW FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME (NOT LIFETIME TV LOL) CHANCE TO PURCHASE PROPERTY THAT WILL DOUBLED IN VALUE THE MOMENT I RECEIVE FUNDS, GUARANTEED.  THIS WILL BE THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU'VE EVER MADE FOR SOMEONE, YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT AGAIN WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS MAKING MONEY!!!  TAKE CHARGE AND BE FIRST THIS TIME, THINK OF THE SAND AND IMAGINE THE WAVES, HEAR THEM, FEEL THE WIND AND FEEL THE WARMTH OF THE SUN.  BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE LIMITED TIME ONLY AND WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF LAND FAST SO ACT NOW!!!

The company calling is on the Lifetime Network and features 4 award winning shows. They are not infomercials and are legit for over 15 years. My wife works for them and there are several namse since they each are responsible for different productions. A very benovelent company Goto Ripoff Report.com and check out o2Media Inc.

They have been calling us for years, and yes, they used to call from a different #. This is a new one for my list. They are a production company that represents many shows apparently. I just pick up and hang up, then they call back. They want to put our company onto their "Designing Spaces" show. Which they claim airs on TLC (which it doesn't). After the speil they tell you the cost (est. $18K) and the length of time they would focus on your product (est.6 min). Don't waste you time or money. You can get a better plug for your product from HomeTalkUSA .com (radio show) for minimal money.

We just keep getting these (although I've routed them straight into voicemail).  They've stopped using semi-famous people in their spiel.  I'm sure they have worn out their welcome.  My next step is to block them completely, but I wouldn't put it past them to start harrassing us by calling from several different phone numbers.  Avoid these scums like the plague!

We receive calls from south Florida quite a bit in regards to this scam. An associate producer from an official sounding tv show [always a different name] is calling on behalf of the producer who wants to feature my company on a network tv, and usually at this point a celebrity name is dropped into the mix.

long story short....they will eventually get around to telling you about the production costs = $20k, and the advertising cost of at least the same amount.

they wont tell you that no one will ever see the show.

be warned.

Another one of those "pay per TV" shows where the "producer" calls and wants to put your company on for a large fee.  Ignore and block!
