A recorded message advising the caller that this is the their 2nd notice that their new car warranty is about to expire and to press a selected number to learn about available low cost extended warranty options. I don't even own a new car!

The number 954-692-0958. Recorded message advising that this is their 2nd notice about warranty for my car.  There is also another number 603-214-3664.  These number are from the same company.  I have pushed # 2 various times to get them to remove me from their database, yet they just keep calling.  I got a call today and I went along and talked with a rep, got their website (southernwarrantytrust.com)  They have a toll free number listed 800-713-1203.  Now I have something to bug them with.  I will make sure I turn off my caller id and then call them and bug the hell out of them.  The person that I spoke with was DAVID at Ext: 3511.  Keep calling him and tell him to have your number taken off the database. ENJOY

I have been being bugged by these people for 6 months about my "extended warranty". I also just made a complaint with the FCC. Tonight they made a mistake and called from a different number where someone live does pick up when you call. 786-279-0600. I have called repeatedly and asked to be taken off the list. When I say that, everyone I talk to hangs up on me. After 8 phone calls someone listened and said I was taken off. WE WILL SEE! However I did get the same people over and over so feel free to call and tell them to take you off as well. I think they got frustrated with my calls like I do theirs!!! :) At least after all these months I finally have a traceable number!

Southern Warranty Trust. Obviously a  SCAM. They just want your credit card number. May they rot in hell.

I got a call about my car warranty about to expire at 7:42 in the evening.  I dialed "1" to get a rep. to ask to be taken off their list (ok so I'm still naive).  The recorded message said Southern Warranty Trust was now closed and to call back between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. weekdays or 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.  The message then disconnected without leaving a telephone number to call!

Was called late evening about warranty about to expire. Pushy Neno tried to seel extended warranty: 5 years and 100k miles. I got the price down to $2100 and $0 deductible. He needed a downpayment to start the warranty. I refused and asked for a number to call back. Was given 1-786-399-8844. Called and found generic announcement to leave a message.

Obvious signs of a scam. No working website, no address, no legit phone number. They didn't even know what car I had and when I bought it and when my warranty actually expires. Avoid them!!

I got a call on 03/03/2009 from these guys, asking me for the make and model of my car. "Chris" said he was calling from Southern Warranty Trust in Miami, FL. Same schpiel as what has already been mentioned above. I played dumb to take up valuable time from "Chris" by asking all sorts of questions. "Which vehicle is this for" and "I'm trying to understand which car you are calling about" as I was putting him in the position of providing me the info a legitimate business relation would have on file. "Chris" finally just hung up on me. Hooray! I'll see if they call back again... so thanks for the 800# above and I'll be notifying the State Attorney General if they keep calling.

Exactly the same as everyone else.  The number "Andy" gave me to call was 866-713-1236 (x. 3520)  When I called back and entered the extension number, a recorded voice said, "Thank you.  Good bye" and disconnected.

Don't even waste your time with these morons.  They don't care about any Do Not Call lists.  They are violating the rules, and they know it.  They are just counting on very few people reporting them.

I think these are the same people who call about lowering credit card interest rates (305-654-1842).  Don't even waste your time asking to be taken off their calling list -- they won't do it.  Just report them right away to the FCC:  https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do  and the Do Not Call Registry Complaint:  https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx.

Maybe I'll take them to small claims court.

This is a company trying to add a warranty to my car.  They have called numerous times and each time I speak to a person and tell them to take me off the call list and then they immediately hang up.
