Received a call from "Jim Davis" with "Delta Construction" asking for our field supervisor. I told him that he was unavailable, but that I would be happy to assist him. He became very hostile and asked why I was not listening to him and to put the foreman on the phone. I probed him for more information, i.e., where he was calling from, where his company was based out of, what he was calling for. He then accused me of harassing him by asking too many questions. I said, "Sir, I am only trying to assist you better." He said I should know my place and that he didn't want to speak with me. I hung up.

Five minutes later he called back. He asked to speak to my supervisor and I told him that I was the Office Manager. He said listen here you "dumb, f***ing c***, you better put your supervisor on the phone right now." I started laughing at him and asked him what kind of man calls people and harasses them like this? Ghetto, to say the least. Get a haircut and get a real job....

This man calls everyday asking for our operations dept.
He is very rude. He got mad at me because I would not transfer him to that dept and he called me names.

Received a call from 954 714 2979.  Called said he was in the plant a couple of month ago and apologised for not getting back to me sooner .  Said he was from Sun Energy. Then stated he didn't know if I heard or not but that he had a heart attack.  After that story (which I cut off twice) he stated that he was from an industrial supply house and that he wanted to send me an set of his company's 40th anniversary knives.  When I told him that I would not accept gifts and asked him about his product he stated that he would send a catalog and promptly hung up.

Don't know if he is from Sun Energy or from an Industrial SUpply house but either way it is a scam.

Guy said he was Larry Allen and phished enough to get my name.  Called, I didn't pick up, went back to receptionist and was SUPER rude.  Told her it was her job to page me or call my cell.  Finally called back today and when he asked me how I was, I told him, "I would be better if you weren't rude to my receptionist."  He said, "I wasn't!" and I told him he didn't know me, so not to act like he did.  He hung up!  Good riddens!!!

Said she was from Sun Energy systems.  This company continuously lies and tries to get you to accept free gifts and then get you to buy office supplies or shipping tape, etc.  VERY shady operation.

This same number 1 954-714-2979 has called a few people in our company trying to get information.

The caller very politely introduced himself as "Joe Phillips" and asked to speak to Paul- but could not remember his last name. When I connected him to Paul, he hung up on him and called back again stating he had been connected to the wrong Paul.  The call was forwarded to the Plant Manager.  When the manager tried to get more information from the caller, he hung up.  The plant manager received another call the following day from a woman confirming the manager had agreed to pay for services rendered.  He again tried to get more information, but the caller hung up on him.

Very Rude.
Asks for Plant Manager. He said he spoke to him before and is just following up with him. I asked him why he does not have his name if he said he spoke to him before. He says as a business owner and, he speaks to at least 200 people/day. He said I wouldn't know anything about that! Wow! What a character! Next time I will just hang up on his call right away.

SCAM fake company calling themselves Carnegie Refining, (no such thing) calling to get information to bill the company for services NOT received, they use the name of someone important to make the invoice look real.

Caller was overly friendly when I first answered. Asked for plant manager. Claimed he was calling from "Sun Energy". When I told him our plant manager was unavailable he rudely hung up on me. I googled the number and in addition to the other postings here, I found this:

Very vague. Very questionable. Our office gets these kind of calls frequently and they are all scams!

This man called and acted like we were acquainted.  He asked for my home address and when I asked him to send his information to my work address he hung up.

Received multiple calls from a man from this number. Very rude! Said it was his first time trying to get ahold of this person, after his heart attack. Wanted this person's cell phone number as well each time he called. Hangs up on me each time! Do not answer this number if it calls you and do not give him any information about yourself or the person he is calling for. Completely sketchy!!

Shelly from "Alpha?" cleaning products. Said she spoke with me months ago. Asked how she received my cell phone number. She said I gave that to her and I said that I nevr do that. She became irate, rude and hung up.

A woman just called from this number and said she was calling from 'Delta Construction'.  She said she needed to speak with our Field Manager...she had spoken to them recently but forgot their name... (We don't have field managers).  I placed her on hold so I could google the number and I got here...she hung up while on hold.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY WILL LIE TO YOU TO GET THE INFO THEY WANT!!!!
