I received the same message, this is clearly an attempt to obtain bank information and then 'help themselves' I'd report this if I had a clue who to report it to.

It's ironic that the health insurance scammers are being scammed by the credit card scammers. I can just imagine how that call to the "local authorities" went. Maybe something like this:
"Well, we are a fraudulent health insurance company who calls people in violation of the no call list, and we'd like to report that some credit card scammers have been sending our number out on caller id. You can imagine how difficult it is for a dishonest, law-breaking, scamming health-care company to make a living, and we don't need any credit-card scammers hurting our reputation. We work hard trying to scam people and it's not fair that other scammers should try to profit from our bad reputation."

Please be advised that automated calls coming from 954-719-6383 that are related to Credit Card deactivation or Credit Union accounts, are NOT being generated by VitalOne Health Plans. If you receive an automated call stating that your credit card or credit union account has been deactivated, DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION! We have traced these calls and they are originating from 379-889-2553. This number is associated with a known Chinese credit card phishing scam and they are broadcasting VitalOne's 954 phone number on the Caller ID of the consumers they are calling. We have notified local authorities.

This number keeps sending texts saying " my credit card is suspended..." ( it isn't ....)
we have never interacted with them and they are using a lie to make us contact them....
Call the Florida Atty General and report this number and business ..... It's the only way to stop them...
They are crooked even by Florida standards and don't ever trust a text message asking for credit info...

Robo call said my credit card had been blocked, press 1 to talk to a rep to fix it.

Linda, do not go there........you have no idea who it may be...

Received a call from this number on my work only cell phone of which noone should have the number stating my Visa card has been stopped. however to reactivate enter my 16 digit card number followed by the # sign.
No option to discuss this with anyone or who the caller is. Really?
Seems like this is more than a health insurance company. Be very careful with what you do here.
Harvey 2013-03-14 17:28:58 Unknown
Told me my visa debit card had been suspended and to reactivate, startrd into a series of prompts.
Called my bank an they confirmed that tis is a scam. DO NOt give them any information!!!!!!
C 2013-03-14 16:13:54 Unknown
They said my debit card was blocked. I hung up and called the fraud unit with my bank.
JoeASW 2013-03-12 22:59:52 Unknown
The new scam from this caller is that they are stating that my debit card has been cancelled. To reactivate, press 1 to talk with a representative. They will ask for your card number and your PIN to reactivate. How dumb dumb is that.
Scam call 2013-03-12 20:18:59 Unknown
No, it's not "Vital One Healthcare", it told me that my debit card had been temporary suspended and
I needed to call that number (which they said was a security department -opened 24 hours a day) and I
could have my card reinstated. The voice was a robotic female voice. Total scam. Banks do not do
business like that. Plus they did not say which banking company they were with, so of course you
would give that information to them. I don't plan on calling them back. But I do plan on contacting my bank and giving them this phone number so they can investigate it for me.

Got a call from this number just now. Same BS scams. They're relentless.
I managed to give 'em the "disconnected number" spoof (sit.wav). Hope that helps.
ItsMe 2013-01-18 19:35:44 Unknown
I have never given my information to them or any related company. This company is especially obnoxious. They started calling me about 2 weeks ago. They call 5 times per day. They also have employees go post on boards like this saying that this company doesn't call unless you've given them your number.
Jake t 2013-01-17 21:52:23 Unknown
Stop calling me. They have called me 7 times today. Enough is enough.

Hi Trish, the company who is calling you is "Vital One Healthcare" In order to have Vital One Healthcare stop calling, call the number back. It goes to an automated system. Option 4 allows you to be placed on their internal do not call list. You leave a voice message stating your name and phone number.
Good Luck Trish

I followed the instructions in Charity's post (above). Called back the number, entered Option 4 to leave a message requesting they do not call. Their automated message says it will take up to 2 business days to remove my number. Let's see what happens. What a headache

Someone else gave out my number when they were requesting an online health quote. Not always the recipient's fault...

At some point, you or the previous owner of that number provided it while searching for health insurance quotes online, which is how they got it in the first place.

They call 3-4x/day for months now. Lucky me it's my google number and its set for SPAM and doesn't ring through anymore. They never leave a message. It's certainly annoying.

These people have called my phone for 3 months at least 3 or 4 times daily. I have continuously ignored the calls or picked up and hung up on them. I finally answered today and the idiot on the other end continued to say he didnt hear anything I said after repeating myself never to call my phone again 3 times he hung up. Seriously how do I get them to stop calling my phone?
Ryan 2012-11-19 19:10:51 Telemarketer
This is a health insurance company. They only call you if you or the person who had your number before you did gave them your info. Many of these companies get their leads from online sources. Usually they draw you in by saying you've won something or you can get something for nothing if you fill out a survey. Then when you fill out the survey your added to another list of companies that share your info as leads. The only way to stop it is to answer and ask them to remove you from their list. If they are that troublesome you should stop giving out your info online.
