i am on the dnc list and i talk to a lawyer about it and he informed me that it does not apply to them because they don't sell anything. they are allowed because all they do is survery and gather opinions. I didn't want to do it at the time because my wife was sick and didnt have time and all i did was ask nicely. of course they will try to get you to do it but if you say exctly "I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, I WANT TO BE ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST" they will do it. and i havent got a call from them in months.. all they made me do is call a 1800 number and they said its the headquarters. and its legit a supervisor spoke to me and removed my number.

At first i was hesitant about these calls because i read these comments but i decided to give it a shot. the women on the line gave me every question i need. like who they were, what they do, and why . and she gave me every detail. i didnt know they were with the bbb and chamber of commerce. that should put you guys at ease. she asked me question about my radio listening, tv, newspapers and internet. she didnt get too personal. and she only asked my range of income. they also send me money after i was done. and the second part of the survery they mail to you. tv diary and a check list of where i shop. she also informed that the number the computer generates to call are households who are selected to do it. and they cannot remove the number. i returned the booklets and got additional money. so they were a good research. the only way to get them to stop is to take the survery and thats it. i havent been called since over 2 years and i wish they would because iwould love to get paid again. hey america runs on consumer opinions. for the ones who refuse refuse and refuse, you dont have the right to speak if they take your favorite tv show, radio show whatever off the programing you could have had your chance to speak up but you past so yeah.
and remember its there job, cut them some slack. the san antonio area code was pretty nice and laid back.

We are getting calls from this company and we are on the do not call list.  We have not been answering the phone when they call and today in the mail they send us a dollar to answer the phone next time when they call.

This number has called us repeatedly.  We have a private unlisted number that is on the National Do Not Call Registry.  We use this number for only security  purposes and have told this company just that over and over again.  We keep asking them to take our number off of the list, and tonight the guy told us he could care less...that he gets paid the same either way.  He told us we had to either take the survey or call a 1-800 number, claiming that he had no authority to take us off the list.  When we asked him to call the number for us (since we cannot trust that the number is not part of some scam), he refused to do it.  He argued with us, and we had to leave our phone off the hook to get  him to hang up and leave us alone.  (He sat there knowingly talking to himself for a while.)  We even gave him the option to just answer "no" to any question he wanted to ask us, but he refused.  The FTC does not cover this company; however, maybe they'll investigate them anyways if we all file complaints.  I don't understand how it can be considered legal to tie up our security line.

THIS # CONSTANTLY CALLS MY HOME CONSTANTLY @ 9:11PM, 9:32PM AND THE LAST ONE AT 9:52 PM I HAVE CALLED THEM BACK SEVERAL TIMES ASKING NOT TO CONTACT MY HOME AT THAT TIME, AND THE CALLS CONTINUE, WHO COULD WE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT..THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU?

I just set my Lingo Call Forwarding service to forward all calls from this specific number back to the CEO's number <evil laugh>

We have an unlisted number, and we're on a Do Not Call list but some how these idiots got ahold of it. I fear it's from a Macy's card I just opened a month ago (when the calls started). Anyway, the caller ID says Florida, I live in Massachusetts. I either don't answer it or just hang up.

Same as all the comments posted already. I have been receiving calls from this company for roughly 2 months. It seems that the number of calls has increased in the last several weeks. I have also been asked to be taken off their list but like everyone else, to no effect.

I actually got a postcard from these jokers assuring me that they just want me to take a survey so please answer the phone. Last night they called at 9:30 and they've called twice so far today.

Calls every other night between 9:25pm and 10:00 pm.  I know these people are exempt from the DNC list, but are they exempt from the 9pm rule too?  

I think I'll call that yahoo CEO every night I get a call at 10pm and ask him to do a survey for me.

You can call 1-800-753-6043 and they will remove you from their system. At least that's what they guy I talked to said. He sounded sincere. We'll see. They don't have a do not call list because they are exempt since they are telephone surveyors ( They are not selling just getting opinions ). That doesn't make it any less annoying.

Called repetitively over last few months, about once a week or so.
Never leave messages.  Just got called by them at 10:10 PM EDST.

They keep calling late at night and wont stop!

As with the others I have been getting these calls at all times of the day, and up to 9:45 in the evening for the past 4 to 5 weeks!  My caller ID says Finan Resrc Srv.  I do not pick up the phone however several messages have been let stating that they are not selling anything and only conducting surveys. I am also on the Do Not Call List and I am going to that site to report it.

How can I get them to stop calling?

As the above people have noted, we have received many calls from this number at various times of the day and night. Today we repeatedly asked the woman on the line to take us off their call list, but she would not respond to our request. We asked to speak with a supervisor but was told that we had to answer her questions first. We, too, are on the "Do Not Call" list and are puzzled as to how this company can continue to ignore the list. Does anyone know how to report this company?

I got this call at 9:23 pm Like some one on this list . I thought it was aginst the law to call after 9pm. I will not answer any call that says out of area .

I got 6 calls today from this company.  I didn't answer as I was not home for the first 5, but tonight they called at 9:23pm.  I thought calls like this was supposed to stop at 9pm by law.  How do these people get away with this?

I receive calls from this company twice a night at least 3 times a week.  I do not answer the phone, but it is very annoying.  I have my number on the do not call registry, but I guess the registry doesn't apply to them?

After being really rude to them and telling them not to call anymore on the first call, they sent us a letter of apology with $2.00 in cash in cash in it as a kind of peace offering.  We should've sent it back unopened and refused as they are calling daily at all hours and we are not picking up.  I am going to send them their $2.00 back today and hope it puts a stop to it....

Called us at 10pm - twice

I have no idea who or what this is, but it comes up on my caller ID as Scarborough Ope, I do not and never will answer but it is very annoying.....I wish they would stop calling!!

These people call almost everyday at various times of day. I refuse to pick it up...but Its getting to be darn right tiresome to have them constantly calling. Especially at night!!! STOP CALLING Me!

They've called me 25 times in 10 days.  I asked them to stop, but more than one of then has told me that they have a legal right to collect public information.

They call with surveys constantly. Asked them to stop calling yet, they call again and again.
