Received 3 calls on 6-9-2011. I am on the do not call list. I wonder how they got my number? I have complaoined that the cable companies have illegally created "areas" in agreement with other cable companies thus denying us a choice of cable companies. If you don't get it I hate Concast and would prefer another carrier.
If you don't beleive me try to get contact info on a able company from outside your area online. You will be asked ot enter info and then be directed to your local company with no info about any other company period. Then look up a zip code from another area and try it in the info and sure enough you'll get through. but when you call you'll be directed back to your own areas provider.
There are laws about free access to all transmission lines so not having their own lines is no excuse for any company to not provide in an area. They have colluded to divide up the pie and our state regulators allow this. If the didn't we could all have real choice and cheaper prices, there is no way minimum service of broad band and regular cable can support the charge of $80 dollars a month. That is the average we all pay for services from a cable company. If you want real channel selection at the lower end or expanded cable and have the misfortune of being in Concast area you can't get it. You get 60% channles selling crap and religion local networks ION and My/TV
Did anyone else notice how the lady in charge at FCC ruled in Concats's favor to allow them to become a monopoly and buy NBC then quit and went to work for Concast?

I tried calling the number back.  I got the "disconnected number" tone and then my phone went dead.  This company needs to get booted.  Yes I'm on the DO NOT CALL list.
