killerb, cutting your debt in half seems like a pretty good deal. i doubt you'll find grants, that guy youre refering to is just trying to sell books. unless youre very good with research and paperwork, you arent getting any grants. i would take advantage of this while you can, the goverment is probably going to end relief programs like this very soon, so if you arent in one, you wont be able to recieve the benefits.

yeah, well they dont get rid of your debt, they just cut it in half and get you out within 2-4 months. i was looking for a grant or something to pay off all my debt. half isnt bad, but its not wut i was looking for and they sed they dont know of any programs that r like that so i just hung up. that guy on tv with the suit with "?" all over it sed sumthin about grants to pay off yer debt, so i want that.

i was dodging the calls at first, but then i accidentaly picked up and decided to figure out what it was about. turns out its a debt assistance center and they are actually very helpful and informative. i told them how much it was bothering me, recieving the calls constantly, and they said that the calls were made by a new software program from a third party that was still being adjusted. i ended up taking their advice and i just wish i spoke with them the first time they called. lol. i would have saved myself time, money, and grief. incase anyone is interested, i did my homework on them before working with them and everything checked out. i was just trying to look up their address in google and saw these links that came up when i typed in their number.

I inquired last year about this so-called debt relief.  It sounds perfect, if I was behind in my debts and facing bankruptcy.  However I'm current and would just like to releive the strain.  Im not gointg to take the change in being sued.  I've explained that numerous times and yet they still call...  Argggg....
