I have a very similar case today. Someone from this Insurance Innovation called me . He said , he has a good deal on helath insurance. Then he transfered me to a customer service representative and she told me she a great deal. But I need to pay $ 459.00 for me and me family. I asked her several questions about who was the Insurance carrier and she tolme, thta the company woks with some kind of multiplan insurances. That was a RED FLAG for me. Then, I said, okay send me all ;the information via email to confirm all the information giving by you. She refused , saying that they were just working on the sale department and they were not allowed to give a written information. This was another RED FLAG>
In conclusion DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY O ANYBODY ELSE WHO REFUSES TO GIVE YOU THE DETAILS IN WRITING.

I also received this  scammed crap. They claimed201 I filed a insurance with them and that it was recorded on January 31, 2014. THey had a different card number and claimed I went through the whole paper work. When I tried to call them back they hung up on me three times. I told them to delete my information and threatened me with lawsuits.  I asked to speak with a supervisor and the call ended. This company gets paid for the applications complete. It was lucky for me and my family because when they tried to run my card they had the wrong numbers on my debit card. The man was rude and I am reporting them everywhere I possibly can so other people don't get screwed.

They got us also! They said my husband had applied for the insurance. I said he doesn't usually take care of any business unless we discuss what we need, and then I follow through. He is hard of hearing so it has been my job for years! A fellow named "Otis" spoke with me. He was real rude--to say the very least! The part that I can't get hold of is how he had our dates of births, address, e-mail, and also knew we had a dental insurance plan through another company. I asked for him to mail the plan to us before we signed up but he said he wasn't allowed to do that. He said the plan payed 50% of all dental work, boy that was a good deal! As he was setting up our plan I asked if our dentist would take this plan, and he said yes, and if he wouldn't accept the plan they would sign him up Otis said all dentists take this plan! I also told him part of the time I couldn't understand what he was saying, didn't bother him but I kept telling him I need to have that repeated, boy did he ever get nasty then! I started to call my Visa company on my cell phone so that the charge couldn't go through. Well they looked for PNP insure.com insurance and that would not go through--surprise! They had used NCE Denta Choice Savings-already cleared while we were still talking. I was angry, and let him know. Then things got worse a snotty female came on the phone, I told her I wanted my money back, and she said $25.00 was not refundable, and the $39.95 couldn't be refunded until after October 1st. I let them know how angry I was, and I would turn it in as a scam! They got even mouthier. they had my card number but I had cancelled it while they were having a conversation about a refund! WRONG! They gave my card number to another person in another country without me knowing it! The next morning my bank called me and asked if I had charged almost $5000.00 on 2 nights at a fancy hotel! I told them no but that was why I had the card cancelled because I was afraid of a scam. These creeps used the 954-773-2800 phone number. So I'm waiting for fraud papers, people start standing up against these unbelievable cheats.

I nor my husband applied for this stupid "insure". They had almost all our personal info. Promised to pay 50% of all bills--not true! My dentist WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS INSURANCE, no matter what the "Otis" person promised. I kept telling him that I wasn't able to hear him-- but he continued with his sales pitch! When the next person came on the line I was told not to ask any questions, I tried but was cut off. I called Lifelock and it looks like they will help, but a scam is a scam! No matter what I have lost $25. dollars. They must really making money off the general public, and OUR GREAT government is doing WHAT? Watch dogs, where are they? Playing golf?

This number called me stating they were calling about the request I had filled out online except I have never filled out a form online for insurance.  I don't know where theyare getting my number but it has to stop and the DNC registry has not been any help.  I have called them in the past with numerous numbers and what these companies do is change their numbers and it keeps going and going.  I would never give this find of info online.

Stop the bullcrap dude! No legitimate company that sells anything, especially insurance will call and call using many different(probably spoofed) numbers and leave recorded voicemails saying they are health enrollment plan or dental enrollment plan and they recieved an application you have never ever filled out. Also had same voice and same name for the two different plans on voicemails. You are a liar. I report these and I the. Block the numbers. If the govt doesn't stop you/them, then I wish someone would get revenge against you somehow. Waste of my time just like dnc registry but I still try.

Just got called from this number & 215-383-3375

caller ID says "Healthcare" or "Health plan"

These people seem to know healthcare changes are a mess, so these people call & tell you they got your info from something you filled out online.

I've asked them to put me on a "Do not call" list, I'm already on the do not call  registry & after I listened to their BS once & like others was asked for my credit card without seeing a policy at all & said no, they keep calling. I just don't answer.  Phone calls are automated,  incoming was answered with a computer.  I'm not sure if  someone's at a keyboard or if they have a computer program to answer basic questions then hangs up.  Either way,  don't bother calling them to ask them not to call.  They only get more aggressive & call you more.  Not a shred of decency.

An old scam that likely gets numbers from hacked records.

I can see why alot of people are mad but these complaints are what anay company on the health market have a service that they provide! What needs to be done is look at the source of the problem which is that oour nations health ins could use some improvement to say the least. One thing is that bad news spreads quicker then good what u wont see is the hundreds of people that this company has protected from financial ruin, people who have legitate issues that need assistance so for the more positive at heart individuals that read this dont let other peoples inconvient experenses get in the way of a genuine persons getting a chance to work with you! Its companies like that one that helps you the most!

I received a call from Health Plans 954-773-2800.  It was for very affordable dental insurance. The man only asked who would be covered I told him just myself & my husband. He wasn't rude or overly polite but he did sound like he wanted to get this call over with in a hurry.  He explained how the plan works, who pays what, gave me the names of 4 dentist's who accept the plan where I live and he gave me a number and extension where he could be reached.  He wanted an answer right away asked if he could call back in the evening but I said I would have to talk this over with my husband.  He said it was "open enrollment" that's why it is so affordable.  The cost for the two of us was going to be $35.35 per month plus a one time $10.00 enrollment fee.  That $35.00 covered both of us.  I think I will call the dentists he gave me and see if they are indeed associated with this company.  It does sound fishy.  This plan was offering 100% coverage for twice a year cleanings, oral x rays sealants & fluoride treatments.  The next was "basic" which they would pay up to 53% for fillings, extractions, novacane, & full mouth x ray 's, the next was "major" which they would pay up to 64% for  oral something, I can't remember, maybe oral surgery,  periodontal treatment, root canals, bridges, crowns & dentures.  That was the whole conversation but the funny thing is, I never filled out any application recently for any kind of insurance so I have no idea how he got my number.  If I had a root canal done which I think are around $600.00 according to him I would be paying $216.00.  That doesn't seem right.  What insu company pays over 60% for anything?  None, they're out to make all the money they can.  I just don't buy it.

Got a call, spoke with someone about a plan. He insisted that this was the correct plan for me even though they work with many other companies and that the other plans just went up in price from there. When I asked him for his contact information and name so I can compare it to other quotes I had he told me "I thought you wanted health insurance." I replied that I do but I want to compare with other plans, he snapped back that they work with all these other companies and he can give me more plans. I thought to myself "Well you wont give me any other plans, you only gave me one and insisted it was THE ONE and the others were much pricier" But, Instead of saying that I said " Well Id also like to discuss these plan details with my husband as well before I make any decisions. To which he replied "Oh, You think just because your young, you know everything about health insurance." And then I replied "Youre being a dick, goodbye" and hung up. I then recieved atleast 6 return calls from the same number throughout the rest of the day. All of which I ignored of course. Oh, and I got a few voicemails that consisted of Elevator/wait music.

Here's my story about this number. My wife recently lost her job along with insurance coverage. I'm self-employed so we were left totally without coverage.
We contacted this company, phpinsure.com, they did not initially contact us. The Representative was very helpful and explained everything well. He gave me a contact number of 877-883-9404 ext 2005 to reach him if I had any further questions. We made the decision to get coverage through this company and we were transferred to another Rep that recorded our agreement and took our bank info for auto-withdraw of payments. As the call was nearing to an end, the Rep explained that the withdraw would be made on Jan 20th which afterward we would receive info in the mail explaining all of the plans details. That drew a red flag with me and I asked that the info be sent ahead of the withdraw so we could have the chance to review it first. The guy said they can't do it that way and got a little snippy saying that's not how the insurance companies do it and that there was no choice in the matter. At that point we plainly told him to cancel everything and to not go through with anything, we told him that we were not comfortable with it at all. He agreed to the cancellation, the call was still being recorded so this was all on tape. We immediately tried calling the 877 number back to see if we could speak with the original Rep that took our call to verify that everything had been stopped, we got a recorded message saying the number was temporarily unavailable. We tried back several times and again the next day only to get the same message.  I checked my bank account on Fri the 20th and nothing had been taken out, I breathed a slight sigh of relief.
Yesterday, we received a voicemail from a guy named Larry, this is basically what he said. "This is Larry from the company where you purchased your health coverage and this call is to let you know your packet is in the mail and you should be getting it shortly. If you have any questions you can reach me at 877-883-9404" I knew right then we had been scammed. The message he left did not even mention his companies name, how unprofessional that would be for a reputable company to leave such a message. I checked my bank account and they had taken the money, I was fuming. I tried calling the 877 number and of course got the temporarily unavailble message. I tried calling the number that had come through on my cell phone which was 954-773-2800 and I did actually get ahold of Larry. He was apologizing that it was all human error and that they would have the money transferred back to our account within 7-10 business days. I let him know what scam i thought they were running and he was trying to assure me that if they were running a scam, I would never hear from them and that we would never be able to get ahold of them. I told him that the 877 number I had been given was unavailable, he acted all surprised and called the number while he had me on the phone, I then heard a busy signal and he told me, "see, the number is functional, i'm calling it right now and getting a busy signal" to me that doesn't prove anything at all and the fact that he was so quick to come up with that idea makes me believe even more that it's a scam. Anyway, Larry promises me that we will have our money returned, I'm not holding my breath but i have the feeling that they will return it. I realize this is a very long post but I have a few thoughts about what is going on and a few helpful suggestions for people to heed.
I think, though bottom of the barrell, they are a real company.  I surmise because I caught the withdraw quickly, (the same day it was taken) and called them immediately about it, they probably make the practice of going through their routine of apologizing etc... But what about some people who simply wait for their bank statement to arrive in the mail, my guess then would be they would be told that since they waited so long to call, the initial payment would not be refunded but they would stop any future withdraws.
They promise to return the money to the account within 7-10 days, we'll see, and I'll let you know, but one thing for sure is DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!
Just a quick word of advice for everyone before I end this. If you find yourself in our situation where you've lost your job and ins. coverage, DO NOT deal with ANY companies that are not a known ligitimate, reputable insurance company. We made the mistake of shopping online, giving our contact info out to places like esurance.com....... DON'T DO THIS! All they do is sell your info to dozens and dozens of companies and your phone will not quit ringing. For these places calling, it becomes a mad dash to be the first to hook you. They all have your best interest in mind and they will all tell you they are the best company in the entire world. They DO NOT want to let you off of the phone without getting you to commit because they know another company is going to be contacting you and they will lose you if you hang up without agreeing. Another thing I've learned from all of this, NEVER make a decision over the phone. From the beginning of the conversation, request that the company send you info through snailmail, if they say they can't or won't, then DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Simply tell them I don't make decisions over the phone and if they are unable to send you info, then you are unable to do business with them. Sorry that this has gone on so but hopefully I have helped to prevent someone from getting in the mess we're in right now.

I also applied for health insurance online, and received a call from this company.
They found me a policy, but when I asked them to send me the information on the plan, they stated that is not my concern.
I told them that I was not going to sign a contract, and send money to them without seeing a policy in writting.
The lady then said I clearly don't understand and said they could not help me.
Stay away from this company

I don't know what you folks are complaining about. I filled out an online inquiry on e health insurance for insurance quote and put my phone number down when the website asked for it. Obviously this would attract phone calls from insurance agents. I dont know why you guys think it wouldn't. Anyways, after being bombarded with phone calls from different companies, i settled on PHPInsure. They helped me get a plan when others offered me absurd prices. I used the insurance already for a routine check up and had no problems. These people arent scammers. In fact, I called back a couple times before signing up and they were very helpful with all my questions and got me decent coverage at a rate that no others could beat.

I've also been through the pitch with PHPInsure, and I also filled out a form on ehealthinsurance.com to get health insurance quotes and got bombarded with calls. RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY! These people are scam artists, and besides wanting to sell you "health insurance" they also want to sell you a Rx plan, Accidental Death insurance and membership in a Consumer Group. The real truth is that the insurance policy isn't an actual health care insurance policy. It covers virtually nothing! These people prey on folks who have lost their insurance or can't get a policy because they have pre-existing conditions. They hook you because you are desperate and reel you in because they convince you that their plan is your only option. And as others have noted, they are cocky and RUDE! Not to be trusted!!!!!!!!!

Complaint:

I requested online only insurance quotes from healthinsurancedirect.com, within minutes our phone
rang. It was a woman trying to sell us insurance, when I told her I was expecting online quotes
she forwarded me to another person that began to try to hard sell insurance to me, and wanted my
bank account info. I told him I wanted to check out the company first and he became irritated, so I
asked him for his number to call him back, he said he would call me back at a certain time. That
made me suspicious and I had an elderly neighbor at my door, so I told him I could not make a
time, so to please give me his name and number, he would not and then he began to berate me so I told him I would not buy any insurance from his company, and specifically told him not to call our number again, he hung up. Then he called right back and screamed at me, I told him again not to call our number and that I would report him, he laughed and said "go ahead" and hung up, he then called back again, we did not pick up. These calls were unsolicited. The number that called first was 512-647-6364  (at 3:21 p.m.) and they called me 2 more times after I told them NOT TO CALL BACK from 954-773-2800 (at 3:42 p.m. and 30 seconds later also at 3:42 p.m.). I am reporting this violation to the National and Wisconsin do not call lists. I I will be keeping a record of any further calls from this company or representatives for more complaints. I specifically asked that our number be removed from their system. This person refused to identify himself Or his company or his call back number when I requested. He mentioned Health Insurance Innovations, andwhen I requested he send me a brochure, he told me insurance companies don?t do that until after you buy the insurance. He told me he was selling insurance for  all companies that serve Wisconsin and attempted to get my bank account number information from me, and when I would not do so, he harassed me, and calledAgain to harass me more, I would not answer the third call. There are MANY complaints associated with this phone number on an internet search I did after these calls. Please investigate this company before you give them ANY INFORMATION. Thank you.

Beeen through the pitch with PHPInsure. After telling them during our initial call that I needed to take another call they started re-calling three minutes later non-stop until I picked up. Then they wanted me to provide credit card info over the phone to lock in the current plan they were offering. I said no, I was in no hurry and required an actual policy quote from the insurer like legitimate agents provide. They said I had to go to a website to get policy details and that they could walk me through it. Told them I would only pay a premium by check or electronic payment to a legitimate AM Best rated company after receiving a formal quote with all policy details. The agent was irritated telling me, even if it was a fraud, my credit card company would cover the loss. Imagine that...a salesperson offering up "even if we were going to scr*w you...your covered!". The general pitch was so pathetic and full of holes...that I ended enjoyed the sophomoric pitch. However, the tragedy is so many genuinely hopeful and desperate people are ripped off by scum.

If it seems too good to be true folks...you can generally count on it, that it is.

I also filled out a form on ehealthinsurance.com and got bombarded with calls. I found out once we hit the submit button our information is disbursed electronically to many insurance marketers. Many are legitimate and licensed. However, many are selling discount plans which are not insurance. These discount plans are, at the most, of very little garbagge. Some of the marketers cater to uninsurable prospects. Some of these plans are good for what they are some qualify as creditable coverage.

I also found out there are many reputable plans that are underwritten companies that are rated "A" (Excellent) by A.M. Best. Such plans are contracted with large networks such as beechstreet (www.beechstreet.com) and multiplan  what t(www.multiplan.com) Providers can be found/verified at these websites quite easily.

We unfortunately (being denied and desperate) filled out a health insurance form for these people as well. Premier Health is who they said they where. website www.phpinsure.com. Gave the same spill as what Melissa had. After we realized what we had done. We called the credit card company and cancelled the card. We called them the next day to cx the policy. After being on hold forever and then the 1st lady then sending us to "customer service". We told the man that we were cancelling due to finding another insurer. He told me good luck with that and hung up. Don't do any business with these crooks.
