got a call on 4 mar2014 from 954 781 8281  Purple horizons. They disconnected before I pud.   Next day I get a call from 954 781 7780. and same thing...guy wanted to get info on TV guide subscription.I called TV guide today and person that answered said that it was not from them.I gave her phone numbers for both calls. THE END. I do nont feel anything will be done about it.

I get the same phone calls from Purple Horizon too.  I am also on the no call list and receive the MCGuire.
They have called 4 times today alone.  STOP CALLING ME

Received call from Purple Horizons with caller ID 954-781-9352 after 8pm two days ago.  It was the second time within a month that they called to solicit a TV Guide renewal at discount savings before the subscription prices increase.  Where are they getting our current subscription information from?

Bottom line, don't do any business with these people and threaten to file a harrasment complaint if they don't remove you from their calling list.

They called me at 5:52 pm from 954-781-4851. Showed as Purple Horizons on phone. I am on the do not call list. There was no message.

Received a call today saying they were from the Publishers Network to have me resubsribe to my TVGuide for 2 years for the $199.50. When I asked her to just send me an invoice, she hung up. Hmmm...

Got two calls for T.V. Guide mag. $199.50 for 114 wks.

The tried to get me to renew my Star magazine & wanted my credit card information. I certainly won't give my card info if someone calls me.

My caller ID listed "Purple Horizons" as the name of the company that called us, and the number listed was 954.781.8281.  The telemarketer who made the call tried to get me to renew a subscription to "Star" magazine, to which we never subscribed in the first place. My daughter has been receiving unsolicited copies of "Star" in the mail for months, and she is listed on the label as the subscriber, but we've never sent in a subscription nor do we have any idea who might be sending it to us on a "gift" subscription as the caller claimed. She also used the term "preferred reader."  I suspect that this is a tactic used by the publisher to obtain new subscribers:  they first "hook" unsuspecting readers by sending them free and unsolicited magazines, and then call them to get them to "renew" their subscriptions.

I have told these TV guide people 15-20 times to stop calling me and they still do.  954-781-8281

Received a unwanted solication for TV Guide from this number.  I am on the "do not call" program.

Call from 954-781-4495 with "Purple Horizons" as the indentifier.  We are on the do not call list.  Didn't answer the phone and they left no message.

I keep receiving calls from this so-called company, except the last 4 digits are '8281'.  I haven't had a subscription to them in years.  Something needs to be done about this before it gets out of hand and someone actually gives these people their hard-earned money.

I got a call yesterday from Purple Horizons but with a different number. The number on my caller ID was 954-781-9352. I tried a search here with no results so I googled Purple Horizons, found out who they were , and was directed back here under a different number.

954-781-9352 calls my home.  I have put our number on a do not call registry list but it doesn't seem to help much.  How can I prevent this company from calling my home again?  I want these soliciter calls to stop!

telephone rings while I am having dinner 12/17/2009 time6:55 p.m. CST.  They asked for my wife who hss passed away. IO answered the call with just a momment and they hung up.  Caller I.D. Purple Horizons 1-954-781-4506.  I am on the do not call list.

Purple Horizons came up on caller ID. The number matches a for-profit out of Florida. Of interest, the phone rang 3 minutes before that and showed 517-203-1400 PHONE BANK SYST.

Asked for my wife, second call in two days , late evening, never left message, nor did they give me time to tell them to stop calling. I'm on the do not call list, so is this legal?? We have no subscription to any magazines.

I, too, am on a no call list.  Yet, Purple Horizons gets my number.  Good for caller ID, I don't answer.  Very annoying.

Received my saturday morning call today. I receive TV guide and don't even subscribe to it yet they keep sending it. Now that i know who they are i have also talked to them on the phone and they asked if i wanted to  renew. I said i never subscribed stop sending me their junk mail. They insisted on knowing if i enjoyed the magazine i said i have no idea its useless to me it goes straight to the garbage and even told them i am on the no call list. See how much tha helped. There has got to be a way to report these people.
