How is it that we accept someone calling us but when we call them back it is busy?  We ALL need to protest this through our government AND phone companies to tell them that this is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!

Received two calls from this number and each time the call was disconnected. Is this a new type of scam, or just a crank call? Perhaps it is one of the many companies that offer information on phone numbers that charge $14.95 trying to drum up business?

I got a call from the same number. I'm from Alabama and I looked up the area code and it is from the same parts that my ex girlfriend is from. Thought I was getting drunk dials from that crazy b***h. Thank God it was just a tele marketer.

I know someone who's been getting several calls from this number and everytime my friend picks up, it hangs up..........it's starting to creep us out and when i looked the number online, it says it's from ft. lauderdale, florida.
idk who this is. anyone got an idea? i thought it could be from a telemarketer but the calls are persistent and they never even talk so ideekay.

i have a friend who's been getting several calls fromt his number and everytime she picks up, whoever it is just hangs up.
how they got her number is a mystery and when we try calling back, it's a busy line.

Well I am sure you have still remember and blessed those congress members by all your might. Wee the number can be registered only for 4 years. After low lifers such as telemarketers start calling again looking for bait. To be Honest they are getting more aggressive  in their methods and very sly
Time to visit www.donotcall.gov and register your phone number(s) again. It took me like 5 minutes, it takes about 1 month to be in effect. So register and wait.  One of the best law congress has ever passed.

they called me just a few minutes ago. asked for me. said i was entered in a sweepstakes and for magazines. they asked for my age and year i graduated and tons of other things and they said that i only had to pay 4.99 a week. so i said ok and gave them my visa card # and social . they already had my address. then switched over to another person and the line beeped which was weird. then the price changed to 68 a month for 19 months.. OMG to they changed it to 49.90 for 28 months ... for magazines???? i shouldnt have fell for it.. but i did. and i regret it bc as soon as i got to my computer they had already made two transactions one for 49.90 and the other for 13.... ?? to i paid for the 49.90 and reported my card stolen.. its a scam... dont repeat my mistake... :(

We all need to protest this BS.  Our government AND phone companies should be able to stop this crap!!!  Everyone has the right to do business but this is not business!  We need to get rid of every government official all the up to the president until we stop this BS!!!!!!!!

This is a bunch of crap!!!!  I think that we should be able to something about this BS.

Just got a call from this number and nothing on the other end

I got two calls from this number in the same day. I finally answered and they kept asking for me but they wouldn't tell me who they were. I looked up the area code and found out it's in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. I live in CA and know no one in Florida so it has to be some kind of scam. Really annoying though!

Recieved a weired call from this number. I googled it, and found this thread. I signed for a website call 1000 Downloads . I have started to recieve these calls after the sign ups. I hope this helps.

I just got a phone call from the same number. It was a survey for visa and mastercard. They asked my age, the year I graduated high school, my major, what my career goals are, and which card I liked using best.

I have recieved 2 fne calls 4rm this same number in one day and wen i answer its dead silence and then they hang up....what the....

yeah the number keeps calling me for weeks now and no response! wtf?

The same sort of thing has happened with me.  I got one call at 3:54 pm EST, and just now at 7:25 pm EST.  Didn't try to answer the first time as we have little to no signal for cells where I am, and the second time the call was dropped as I went to pick up the phone, so yeah I have no idea what would have been my result if I'd answered,

Received 2 calls from this number today, also on my cell phone. No one on there when I answered, and then busy when I called back. No wonder no one can get through and it's always busy, looks like someone is ALWAYS calling someone else! LOL!

I just received a call from that number also.  That is so weird.  It's like they are a phone stalking weirdo obsessed with calling everyone in the United States for a prank.

I got calls from this guy twice today. And when I called back, it was busy! What's up with this? There must be 20+ people on here saying the exact same thing I am!

I also received 2 calls on my cell, cb and got busy signal.  I am going to ask Verizon to block this call.

I just recieved a call from this number, and when I answered,they asked for Jessie, and I said you have the wrong number, they where all like oh well maybe you can help me, I am with the sweepstakes..., and I was like ummm.. NO!! and I hung up. I have also recieved these types of calls from 252-365-9330.. I am from the Illinois area!!
What should we do about this? I dont want anyone scamming me!
