The person left a message said he was David Rubin with Bank of America Merchant Services. I do not have any credit cards or any dealing with them for 8 years after paying house off. But what s weird the call is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida Area. loan was North Carolina.
So I did a search and a Law Firm came up saying that this number is for Payment solutions. I do not owe Bank Of America .

Same issue here they have told numerous times that my contract was done and that they owed me a refund yet every couple months the collection department calls or mails a letter. Terrible company to deal with! It's been a good year of calls, letters and emails trying to get answers.

954-851-7000 was actually Tim Horton's returning a call I made about my Tim Card. I let it go to my machine before I answered because it showed ID as First Data. Very polite but I let them know that their number showing as First data instead of Tim Horton is why I did not answer. This must be company used by Tommy Ho to solve their card problems.

Received call from 954 851 7000 and they claimed to be calling on behalf of Tim Horton. I guess Tim Horton outsurced their Tim Card Transactions to US comapny. Under Patriot Act, you data can be accessed by NSA at any time.

When I answered a woman said they were calling to verify that this was a number for and said my name. I said if they were selling anything that I wasn't interested. She (heavy accent) said it wasn't to sell anything just to verify a number. I hung up. By the way, she NEVER identified the company.

This number is First Data collection agency. It is also called FDGL (First Data Global Leasing). They are nothing but a rip off with PFC (Payment Solutions) with credit cards. Beware don't use them, don't sign any contracts, do not do business with either one they are a scam. They get you to sign a contract with them for your credit cards (for your business) then when it doesn't work out, which I don't think it ever works out with them, they charge you for 4 years for something that you don't have, never used and never will.

Hello- I also got taken for a lease for 4 years when they said it was 2 years and now they want $50.00 a month for the entire term- my bus. failed and I sent back the machine. We should get a lawyer and sue for the fake 2 yr contracts they offer that are 4 years in actuality.

This is ChasePaymentTech, a credit card processor for many retail stores. Very bad customer service. They do not make effort to verify your account status.

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. THIS BETTER NOT BE A SCAM. I HAVE GOVERNMENT CONNECTIONS SO IF THEY ARE THEY ARE GOING DOWN!

they called my house at 10:38 pm ona school night - woke the house and said I am a marketer confirming address and hung up. when I called the number back I got a message stating I should call during business hours!!

This is First Data collection dept. I received a not-very-polite call from them today saying that they couldn't withdraw anymore money from my account for the service. I tried to explain them that I was in the process of resolving the issue with them through email (I only needed the credit card machine for 2 months, but was tricked into signing the contract for 4 years!). The representative didn't want to listen and said I owe them money and I should resolve the issue right away through the phone. Horrible company! Don't do business with them!

I don't know if this has anything to do with the purchase I was trying to make at Home Depot with a check. But this number called around the same time ... when the check machine at Home Depot wasn't working to read my check!!! The cashier person called the customer service number ..to see why it wasn't taking my check? After the cashier lady at Home Depot spoke to them...they told her that my check got denied. I know I had sufficient funds in my checkings account...because I ended up having to use my Visa Debit card INSTEAD ...to get money from my checkings account. My Visa Debit card went through WITHOUT A HITCH!!!! So..I had to access my checkings by using my Visa Debit card instead!!! But for some reason...these people couldn't approve my check???? What's up with that?? I think this is a debt collector scam. I'm very suspicious that this number coincidentally called around the same time...my check wasn't being approved by people who obviosly LIED/or didn't know what they were doing. And said they couldn't approve it...FOR NO APPARENT REASON. I had sufficient funds in my checkings account!!!!! I'm glad I never answered this number. It seems shady....now that I have read other comments from people on here!! IF this is a debt collector scam operation...then THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO!!!! The last thing I want...is some PHONY blotch on my credit score.

Wow Helen, had something similar happen to me!
I was at Home Depot yesterday (Sunday, April 17th, 2011) at Home Depot making a purchase with a check. I rarely write checks, but the customer service rep said that their automated system was down, so she had to make a call (I asked, I think she said it was Telecheck). The check was approved, but within a few minutes (I didn't hear my phone ring), I got a call from this same number... no voice-mail. I attempted to call back, but got the typical "call back during business hours" message.

Just received a call from this number.
The caller stammered a bit telling me the call was being recorded, then asked if this was the home of G_____ W______ and upon saying yes, the called said Thank You and hung up.
WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ABOUT?

I got a phone call from this number saying that somebody had left my phone number to them and ask them to call back. The thing is I've never called them. It was very suspicious. I was upset because the guy mentioned credit card machine. We know how much credit faud is going on. If it's just a tele-marketing scam, I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brad 2010-02-02 19:49:59 Telemarketer
First Data merchant card services,....they call and state they are calling about your business merchant account...reality is - they are trying to switch you to their service....I DISLIKE companies/telemarketers that "TWIST" the truth....hence I will NEVER use First Data
Rashid 2009-12-18 00:56:05 Unknown
Graham - no, I didn't resolve it yet. I leased the credit card machine through CitiBank, which in turn leased it from First Data. Now I closed my business, but just recently ordered a stop on the $32 monthly payment for the machine which I don't use. I tried to return it; they said it wouldn't change anything. Also, I was told by this company I can settle for one thousand dollars. I'd have to talk to a lawyer

Got a call from 954-851-7000. This was a "missed call" because I don't answer the phone...if I don't recognize the number. AS...I'm reading other people's comments about this number. It sounds like some "debt collector" scam. Good thing...I never aswered this call. But this thing needs to be stopped!!! I don't have any debt. So...I'm very suspicious of the true nature of this call!
MEE TOO 2009-11-12 23:57:53 Unknown
I answered and they said "Thank you this is telecheck, Thank you" and hung up..... What do they want??
graham 2009-07-28 16:30:02 Unknown
Did you ever resolve this. I just ran into the same problem. I thought I was getting a lease through a company called Moneris and when my business failed I arranged for someone to take over my lease. Called Moneris to arrange transfer numerous times and they did not return my call. Now I have this collection company after me. Am on a disability pension so I can't afford to pay this

Someone just called and asked if this was my company by name. I said yes it is, and the man said Thank you and hung up! What is wrong with these people?
Mommaruns 2009-05-26 19:39:22 Unknown
I answered a call from this number and the lady on the other line asked if it was me. So ofcourse I said yes. But before I had the opportunity to ask what she want, she hung up. I am very suspicious and upset. What if this is some identity fraud strategy?
Teri 2009-03-31 22:51:20 Unknown
They called my direct line @ work & stated they were calling to cancel a credit card transaction that one of their merchants had authorized. I attempted several times to tell the man that there is no way he had the correct number.
He finally got the merchant conferenced into the call & I told him our business name. He immediately realized they had the wrong number. They were trying to contact a car rental company.

Missed a call from 954-851-7000 on my cell phone, even though my cell phone number is on the national do not call registry. Now that I see it is a telemarketer, I am angry. Had I answered this call, I would have had to pay for it, as I have pay-as-you-go service.
matt 2008-06-23 15:27:04 Unknown
This is for First Data Card Services. It is for a merchant account.
