Called twice today, a couple times earlier in the week and many before then that I didn't make note of. Left no message, all I have is the number from Florida. Why do people call repeatedly? They leave no message. It's a puzzlement. How can we make these calls stop. I always have a couple of them on my phone daily. So annoying. Anybody have any suggestions?
Dee 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Enough is enough. We don't want or need this ins., stop the annoying phone calls. What good does it do, to be listed with the "donotcall.gov" listing to avoid these types of calls?

This person needs to stop callings almost everday. Pretty crazy! Can we report this to police that the person can stop?
Mary Heim 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
This number calls me repeatly several times a day. I do not want this person to keep calling me. They do not leave a message, but calls back at least 2 or 3 times.
Raymond 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
They have called me repeated times..No message, just silence. Going to report them to FCC or state agency.

Called twice today. Claimed to be from "your credit card company" but when questioned, didn't know which card.
min 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
they just called my house stating they are from Discover card offering $1 mil death coverage....however they used my maiden name & I had updated my last name with discover last week. Sounds like a scam to me...

Okay guys…here is the deal. The only way to get off the call list is to ditch the credit card and request a “DNS” profile. (Do Not Solicit.) Every Bank/ Ins Co uses different nomenclature but it all means the same.
Any time you fill out a Credit Card Application, Receive a new “customer term agreement” at their prerogative, not yours- you waive your rights. When you receive the “new customer term agreement”, you need to call and (opt out) request that they not distribute your information. DO NOT CALL customer no-service. There will be an address or specific telephone number embedded in this new agreement that you must call. These call centers are employed by individuals that are not paid very well and the turn over is ridiculous. They are only trained at a specific task and are not familiar with all of the inner workings of their employer.
Ultimately, you need cancel your credit cards. When you refinance your mortgage, you can bring your own contracts as well. Ask if they sell your information, if the response is no, ask them to show you their policy. If the lender can not show you their policy, ask them to sign your own agreement that awards you monetary compensation outside of arbitration in the event your personal information is released without your expressed written consent. Make sure that you are informed about holding company bait and switch games. Often times, financial institutions coexist with sister companies under one larger organization such as a holding company etc. Make sure that when you agree that your information will not be released, those sister companies or any internal entity (i.e. Life Insurance Company owned by your Mortgage Company) are included.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE INFORMATION!
Called claiming to be from Discover Card, but my discover card is in good standing. Further, when they called they said they couldn't tell me why they were calling until I gave them my card number, social security number, and driver's license number. Hang up and report it to Discover Card.

Calls 2-3 times a day, never leaves a message. Caller ID says Monumental Life, but we don't have a policy for ML, so I don't answer. It's really getting annoying! I figure if it were important or legitimate business, they'd leave a message.

Calls from 954-926-2376 almost daily and are very annoying. Just let the answering machine get it. Maybe they will move on.

954-926-2376 calls: My Caller ID identifies number as Discover Finance. I think it is trick name to make us think the call is from Discover Card. Yet it appears from other comments that the number is shown as other names on the Caller ID. I do not answer the call. They do not leave a message. I have recently experienced a high degree of these types of calls from other numbers. There is something going on. The calls are incessant and done in a maniacal repetitive stalking manner. The purpose of my landline phone is not to be abused by annoying calls that won't stop. I am the National Do Not Call Registry and file complaints. It does seem to stop the calls. Some of the calls are in Spanish.

Monumental Life calls DAILY. I picked up once, and it was a "you're on hold, hang on while we wake up a salesdroid." Tried calling 954-926-2376 but it was disconnected.
Royjean 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Everyone that is getting calls from the 954-926-2376, all you need to do is call it back and press "1" to be put on their do not call list. And yes, I understand the part about why are they calling if your number has already been put on the do not call list, but if you even have any dealings with Discover in any shape or form, which this is from Discover Financial Dept., they feel they have dibs on you.

Calls all day long. I have a "contact" called DNA1, DNA2, DNA3 etc. Can list 3 px#s per contact. I add to one of my DNA (DoNotAnswer) contacts. It's not the best solution and uses a contact, but at least I know I've checked out the # and DO NOT ANSWER these calls.
Lee 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
This number shows daily in my caller id missed calls but they never leave a message. I want them to stop calling.
Dan 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Discover -- again. I tell them to take me off their list and they won't. Why do we tolerate this? Isn't it time we tell the poeple that we voted for that our supposed to represent us, the poeple, that we want sanctuary in our homes. Instead, they cater to businesses that donate money to their campaigns. They don't give a s*#t about you or I because we don't have enough money to buy them off. Please go to reconparty.org and check out a new political party that vows to stop telemarketing cold in its tracks for those of us that want to be left alone!

I have received over 6 calls from this place 954-926-2376; the caller id says Discover Financial. I am putting them on the do not call list.
Pennafred 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Call the number back (954-926-2376) and you will be prompted to remove your number from their call list. Don't know if it is effective but I gave it a try
rlgdtime 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
I get these calls on my cell phone. I just added the number to my phone book and gave it "no ringtone" as it's cutom ringtone. So, my phone doesn't even ring when they call.

I just moved. Have a new house number which I do not use (it came in a bundle with my internet and cable) because my cell is just fine. I get multiple calls from this number! I let it ring. No messages left. Why the heck are they calling me?! I am just turning off the ringer since I haven't even given that number out to anyone. But how bizarre!
