You're correct.  It starts with obtaining a J.C. Penny's card.  I have none of the other connections mentioned in the various posts.

I too receive these calls after signing up for JC Penny "s card. I seem to remember years ago they offered life insurance policy. However I have gone weary of these unknown callers and just wont pick up the phone. I have an answering machine and I figured if its important enough they will leave a message. Of course they don't . I have a seven year old whom I have had calls requesting to speak to him and my reply is "you've got to be kidding me" and then I hang up.

I get calls all the time from numbers I do not recognize. Simple solution. Register for Do Not Call, get a phone with caller ID AND a number block list. I can put 50 numbers into my block list (which is plenty ~ the list rotates as these creeps get new numbers). If anyone calls from a blocked number the phone rings once only then they get nothing but a busy signal.

So, once in a while (maybe a couple times a day now), the phone rings once and goes silent.

Life is good.

Well I get  at least 2 calls a day from this number...I have not shopped Penny's for at least 20 years and never called this number...we are also on the do not call list but the FCC does not carry through as they should

The same thing is happening to me. Its Monday 3-17-14 noon Ben has called now its 3:30 another call from Ben Stonebridge.
I do know ppl in FL. But that's not them. These calls go on all day 7 days a week and even after 9pm I'm getting pissed. How can we stop this Ben Stonebridge? Where is CLARK HOWERAD WHEN U NEED HIM!!!!!!!

Every day at noon, then at 3:30 this ben stonebridge calls. I answered once and all I heard was silance. So this ben guy keeps blowing my phone up all week even on Sunday . How do I get rid of ben stonebridge I never ordered a sex aid and I don't shop at j c pennys. And its been going on for 2 months. I'm glad I googled and seen others being bothered by Ben Stonebridge what do I do to keep him from calling? Someone give me the 411 on this.

I have been getting calls from Ben S 954-926-3387 everyday for about 2 weeks now. Gives up quickly after 2-3 rings though. At first I thought it was my boss calling because his name is Ben S but I remembered he's never call me at home. lol

Whoever this is has been calling EVERYDAY for over a month, sometimes 4-6 times daily, & now suddenly today since before 8am, I'm getting call after call, at times only seconds apart, from nonexistent area codes & totally different numbers! So far, in the last 3 hours, there has to have been close to 50 calls! "Ben Stonebridge" was bad enough, but now this? Ridiculous! The few times I've answered, it's been just a dead line! Somebody, HELP!!

Have had Ben Stonebridge call my house twice, sometimes three times a day.  I never answer because I figured it was a telemarketer, but he never gives up.  I, too, am on the DNC list.

Calls everyday sometimes twice a day.  Annoying, frustrating.  I don't answer, but next time I will and blow my whistle.  

I have received several calls from this number. I am on the Do Not Call list. Usually when they call there is a lot of back ground noise but no one speaks.

I get a call from this number once a day and it interrupts my cartoon time. It's a very annoying moments, but I don't answer it cause it's from an area code I don't know. Put a complaint into Attorney General of New Jersey.

Since Sept 23,2013 has called 11-12 times....never leaves a message on answering machine :(
Sometimes calls twice a day!   Enough,do you not think? Husband answered,and they hung up.
Any call worth making,must have a purpose....so,why call,if you never leave a message?

These are some of the rudest people they call at least 4 times a day and I am fed up they have been told not to call anymore but they continue to call. I am on the Do Not call list with them and the national do not call list

Have been receiving calls from 954 926 3387 claiming to be from Fingerhut for some medical discount on prescriptions and doctor visits. They are a bit annoying considering I already have health insurance and the calls continue 4-5 a week.. Set up the calls to be blocked from home # maybe they will get it sooner or later. After reviewing other posts from others have noticed that they are affliated with JC PENNEY and other companies.

when answered the guy asked for me but I just told him I wasn't here.  don't know who this is.  the name on my caller id comes up as STONEBRIDGE BEN.  Don't know who it is.  won't  tell

You are wrong about how they get your number. They call me all the time and I have never called them myself and no one else has access to my phone. It seems the common link here is JC Penny's. I just recently opened a charge card with them and that is when the calls began.

We keep getting this number calling.  I would like him to stop.  I will not answer, but it is annoying when he calls several times a day.

caller id was "Florida" but they left no message.  If they were legit, they'd leave a message

I am getting 3-4 unsolicited phone calls, 3-4 times a day, every day of the week, for the past 2 weeks at a published home number. I rarely use the home number, since I prefer to use my cell# for work, personal, and all other calls. The caller ID says "Ben S" at 9549263387. All calls to the home # are screened by voicemail so I have never picked up the line. I figured it was a telemarketer. I, too, am a jcp cardholder and stonebridge insurance customer, however, I did not sign up to accept offers from affiliates of these companies. The calls are unwanted and unsolicited.
