As a Jcp employee it is not our fault that you are getting these calls. Call GE, they are who you have a credit card through.  I have been receiving these calls too, just answer and say to remove your number. It's no big deal. No need to be rude to the callers or to jcpenney employees. Be happy in your life and dont try to make others miserable.

You are correct sir.  It was Stonebridge calling customers of JCPenny.

I didn't pick up because I did mot recognize the number.  I have been getting numerous calls from a computer comany from different phone numbers.

Caller identifies as Stonebridge Life Insurance. My husband determined that they were calling the wrong number; we thought that would take care of the problem. Now they're calling twice and three times every day. When I called the number back, I was given an 800 number to call. I spoke to a representative who, when I told him I wanted the calls to stop, hung up on me.

THEY CALL SEVERAL TIMES A DAY....I WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING ME.

Several times a day I receive a phone call from this number.  Nobody answers.  At least answer. No idea who it is from or why.

They've been calling for years; seems they go in cycles: they call intensely (daily to several times a day) for a period of time (1-2 months) then they lay off for a few weeks then the calls start in again.   Today they called SIX times within 1.5 hours!!! I was away from the phone but I never answer anyway. Only once in all these years did I answer, only to get their telemarketer speal that wouldn't end without nearly being hung up on...

Unwanted sales call

Received 8 calls between 8:22 AM and noon.  Caller ID says, "Telemarketer."

I've had five calls aready since 8:45 this morning.  I pick up and hang up immediately.  After the last one, I blasted them with my radio turned up as loud as possible!!  Absolutely ridiculous!!

Please cease calling my phone.

I started receiving these calls from 954-926-5876 as well (from Hollywood, FL), and was freaked out, having had calls come in from "Dominica" (767-235-9474) only about a month ago. Called from a different phone and heard the message, mentioning another phone number (1-800-527-5717) to call for Stonebridge Life Insurance.  I called that number and asked that they take my number off of their calling list.  The gentleman was polite, did not ask any questions, other than verifying my last name (which I felt comfortable doing), and then processed my request.  He did state that it would take about 3 weeks for these people to stop calling me.  Now, I'm about ready to close my JC Penney card, because I always make sure to check off any boxes stating that my data not be shared with other parties.

GE Capital is whom the anger should be directed at. They issue the JC Penney credit card not JC Penney. Direct your issues to them.

I am getting 2-3 calls a day from Stonebridge Life 954-926-5876. JC Penney sells card users info to this company. I am on the do not call registry and have called JC Penney and StroneBridge life. Spoke to Shane at customer service Stonebridge.

The same number has been calling my cell number and my house phone.

Got a call from them at 10:20 PM.  WTF.   Did not answer, no message left.  I've never had a JC Penny card.

Yes they called me three times in an hour I finally answered & asked them to stop calling me.

My grandmother received phone calls from this number 2 times a day for a week straight. She is a little naive when it comes to phone calls and scams. She was telling me about this and it seems a little iffy to me. She said when she answered a man asked if it was her and she said yes, he then proceeded to tell her about some insurance thing with jcpenny. She's said he talked so fast and sputtered off numbers and words that she couldn't keep up.  He then told her her birthday and asked if it was correct, which it was. After that he said he would be sending her info about it in the mail within a couple of weeks and asked her if she could hear him ok like her phone wasn't getting good reception. She was on a house phone and could hear him perfectly and she never gave him her address. He then hung up on her. She says she hasn't received any calls from that number since. I am afraid this is a identity scam. Could they do much with someone's birthday?

These dirtbags have been calling me for the better part of 7 months, at least daily. Stonebridge has a very poor reputation, along with their parent company, Aegon. They have been sued many times for a variety of practices, like billing people who did not order services, refusing to cancel, etc. They use people with poor English and other strategies to keep consumers from effectively taking action.  They tried to get exempted from telemarketing laws/DNC and while they say they have a DNC list, many have complained that no attention has been paid.  No reputable company is going to want to call people who have expressed an animosity of telemarketing and a desire not to do business with such lowlifes. I have corresponded with corporate to no avail. I tried JCP in the past and got a runaround. The calls stopped for a few months and now are back with a vengeance. I don't get what they gain by calling thousands of people daily and never speaking or leaving messages. I contacted one of the TV stations in the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area and am thinking that if others did the same, they might at least prevent local people from doing business with them (at least voluntarily; it seems that if they get your name and credit info they sign you up without your permission).  The feds should shut them down and I want to help. There's power in social media and consumers really need to band together.  If you scour the web you will be impressed with how many different kinds of complaints this company has and just how evil they are.  I am blocking their number but that still allows it to ring once so I have turned off the volume to my phone so I can do what I need without getting up to see it's those b*****ds every time they call; people I want to talk to know I am doing this and that I'll get back with them.

I have the same situation with you guys. I think we should bring this matter to the JC Penney seriously for revealing customers' information. Even they are co-opporated with this Insurance Co, they could not legaly to use our personal information. This is a shame of JC penney. From now on, I will stop to business with them.

They call many many times. It started recently and it goes on and on everyday. I forgot that comcast has a call block feature so I just added their number to the blocked caller list. It was ridiculous how often they called.

They called me so many times the past year or so, now they are back with vengeance! I finally called JC Penney corporate number 972-431-8200 and told them about the situation with Stonebridge Life Insurance. She called back and told me that they needed my policy number or birth date, etc in order so on. I called her back that I don't even have any policies with Stonebridge and they are ruthless with phone calls. All I wanted my number to be taken off their calling list. That guy whom told that he needed my policy number is a crock full of sh....t! I told him earlier to take me off their list. Now that lady whom I spoke with at the corporation understood what was going on. I hope this will solve this problem! Tired of seeing that caller ID Florida on it!
