Caller ID indicates it's from 'SLK Consulting'

What a pain !!!!!!!!!!!

YES, I JUST GOT A CALL ALSO...ONLY ON MY CALLER ID IT HAD THE NAME OF SLK CONSULTING AND THEIR PHONE NUMBER LISTED WAS 954-933-4102...AND I HAVE NOT BEEN "CONSULTING" WITH ANYONE!!!  DON'T KNOW WHY THEY WOULD BE CALLING ME AND THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, EITHER.
IF IT IS A CALL FROM SOMEONE I DO NOT KNOW, I FIGURE IT MUST BE SOME DUMMY TELEMARKETER OR IF THEY REFUSE TO PUT THEIR NAME AND/OR NUMBER IN THERE, THEN I REFUSE TO ANSWER THEIR STUPID CALL.
THIS MAKES ME WONDER HOW A TELEMARKETER FEELS WHEN SOMEONE ASKS THEM WHAT THEY DO FOR A LIVING AND IF THEY AREN'T LIARS, TOO, AND THEY ANSWER TELEMARKETERS, WHAT DOES THE OTHER PERSON SAY..."OH, I'M SO SORRY" OR MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE.."OH, I'M SO SORRY.  MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU CAN GET A REAL JOB WHERE EVERYONE YOU CALL DOESN'T HATE YOU SO MUCH."  HOW SAD IS THAT?
THIS JOB SHOULD BE DELETED FROM THE WORLD, ALONG WITH THOSE PRE-RECORDED MESSAGES OR SOMEONE ASKING YOU TO VOTE FOR THEM!!!  NO WAY WOULD THEY GET MY VOTE IF THEY HAVE TO DISTURB ME AT HOME TO ASK FOR MONEY AND/OR A VOTE!!!  SAD, SAD, SAD.

Received call this morning----no message left on machine. All the caller ID said was "he1p". Probably political campaign.

I won a cruise too.  Their call was on my answering machine.  I, of course deleted it.

Yet another scammer trying to steal my money from me.  Everyone needs to report them to www.donotcall.gov.

Guess this telemarketer has either a less efficient call system, or, deliberately leaves a message hoping that the recipient will take the call after screening it via answering machine.

Recorded message won a cruise. Reported to the government do not call web site . I am sure it will do no good.

Pet Rescue - won a cruise.  If you press "1" to talk to them and tell them to remove your number, they just hang up.

Scammers... they just keep calling from one number after the next... blocking doesn't work, they'll just call back from a new number.  There are banks and banks of numbers offshore that are set up to call.

Figure for every 100 calls they make, they get at least one sucker, so that encourages them to keep going.

Good luck figuring out how to beat them at their own game!  I simply pick up the phone and just breathe into it.  They sit there on the other end going Hello?  Hello?  It's fun to waste their time since they are wasting mine.  I get some sort of inane pleasure out of doing that, although it doesn't stop the calls.

Same thing with me--I've won a cruise and can help rescued animals by pressing #1. I didn't press anything--i just hung up.

Telemarketer.  Stop calling me.

This spam caller actually left a pre-recorded message:  "You have been selected to win a free cruise...Press '1' to accept, press '2' to decline..."  The CallerID says it's from 'SLK Consulting' and the message said it was on behalf of 'A New Leash On Life' - a pet rescue foundation (http://newleashonline.org/).

Of course it's some kind of scam designed to get money out of you.  The best advice is to not press any key on your phone - they just want to know whether they have reached a human so they can either continue the scam on you or sell your active phone number to other scammers.
