80% of the people we call answer and either buy, say no thanks maybe next time, or politely ask to be DNCed.

20% of the people come on forums like this wondering who the heck we are and would rather get called 8 billion times on a friday night when we are out of leads except for the people who never answer their phone.  sux for everyone

Those of you complaining about these calls are so friggin ignorant!  If you'd listen for more than 5 seconds without flipping out about Do Not Call lists, you would realize how great of a deal you're getting.  As a Wyndham employee I unfortunately can't use one of their promotional packages.  YOU however get the opportunity to go on a vacation of your choice for dirt cheap.  You also get a 3 to 5 star hotel and can bring
another adult and 2 children with you.

Have you seen the prices for ONE NIGHT at a hotel, lately?  It's disgusting.

Whereas the packages you're offered simply for being on a list allow you to stay 3 nights or 4 (depending on the package) for virtually the same price as a ONE NIGHT stay.

Next time you get a call about this, put a little thought into how much money you're saving, instead of being so quick to anger. Normal telemarketers want to squeeze money out of you for something you don't really want.  Wyndham telemarketers just want to send you on vacation, which you'll most likely do in the next 365 days, AND save you $$$.

If it was scam they wouldn't leave their caller I.D. number. I also found out that they are registered with the Attorney Generals office in my home state. If it was a scam I don't think they would go to all that trouble. I also called the Better Business Bureau and they don't have a record of any instance where anyone has been scammed, not unlike the deposed dictator that needs my account number so he can smuggle his fortune out of his country of Jabuti or crap like that.

It can take up to 90 days for your name to removed from the list. Just like unwanted E-mails take time to be deleted from lists

If you think they should send package info to you then write everything down they tell you. I just happen to know several people that took their,"Too good to be true", getaway deal and absolutely Loved it! As far as them sending you something by mail, why should they, you'll only throw it away when you recieve it in the mail. Not only that, but if they wanted to reach out to people by mail they wouldn't have hard working people trying to contact you by phone, now would they? Yes I did take advantage of their offer, spent 4 days in Destin,Florida. It was great, had a lot of fun and took a 2 hour tour of their resort.I got to spend the rest of my time however I wanted! What a surprise, somebody actually took time and didn't make me feel like I owed them a single cent when it was over.I didn't get a time share this time, but we probably will the next time they call.

I was trying to be very polite to the operators and request that my number be removed. I work nightshift and calls all day can be very annoying. I asked them over and over again to remove me, and they always said they would but the calls keep coming. They call as early as 8 am and up to 9 pm.
It's really horrible, and has tarnished the Wyndham name forever in my eyes. http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-417-877-2605
Apparently they do the same to many other people. It's shameful.

I've asked at least 50 times now to be taken off the call list, and they keep calling almost every day. This is the WORST kind of SCAM operation.

also there is a loophole many of you obviously do not know about even though you are on the "national do not call list" we can STILL call you because you left the number at one of our sister hotels, and that has nothing to do with the dnc list. :)

i work for wyndham and it is not a "scam" as some of you might think. i AM A TELEMARKETER WITH WYNDHAM and you people are being udderly ridicoulous! it makes me laugh that you all would go through all this trouble to post something about the company online when you wont even answer the phone..get your facts straight and listen to what we have to say. YOU left your number with us or someone else did when you stayed at one of our sister hotels. it is not "to good to be true" if you would actually listen instead of hanging up or being really cool and not answering your phone, you would actually understand why we say some of the things we do. look up our company we are a multi billion dollar company. if these were scams dont you think it would have been on the news by now???
all you have to get us to stop calling you is POLITELY say "please put me on your do not  call list" any smart business wise person knows this. so please stop bashing the company and get your facts straight before you waste your time posting stupid things online. we are just like you and work hard to pay our bills. how would you all like it if someone was posting these things on websites about your company????you woould be upset too, esp. when we have hundreds of thousands of owners who enjoy our vacations. try looking up the company online and you will see how good it is. or better yet, get off the computer for five minutes to actually go ASK someone about the packages they have took with wyndham and you will see how good of a deal it is. until you actually answer the phone and see what a good deal it is and actually listen to our pitch (chances are you will be surpised and actually buy from us, most people do) or ask us to put you on our dnc. stop bashing the company your just making yourself look bad.

Tuesday June 26.  The young lady asked from my daughter, I asked for a number and she declined to leave a number.  Then I said, "Are you a telemarketer?"  She said "No."  I am currently on hold.

I initialized the call at 5:39 p.m. est (immediately after she lied then hung up). Their fax number is: 954-935-4644.  It is 5:50 est and I am still on hold. I have sent 4 faxes while on hold telling them to answer the phone.  they still will not respond.  It's 6:02 still on hold. hanging up.  I sent a total of 22 faxes asking them to answer the phone.

these people say they are with Wyndam Vacations trying to sell me a vacation package because they say i'm a prefered customer. the price sounds too good to be true and you have to secure the package by credit card over the phone. they tell you it's a one time offer, only good for that day.but they have been calling for weeks. when you say no to credit card transaction, they don't offer to send package info, they just reduce their rates. i believe it is a scam.
