Got the same call today. I didn't hear any specific accent, but it's an odd dialer.

I received a call about a month ago, caller left the message "default message" Middle Eastern accent. Last night 8:19 PM three telephones in my home all different numbers rang at the same time, my business line, home line, and fax machine line, it was the same caller he left messages on both my home telephone and business telephone at the same time "default message". It dose not sound like a recording, it sounds like a live person. How could he call three different numbers at the same time and leave messages on two at the same time? Number that is calling in is located in Pompano Florida, caller ID is K and D compute. Caller telephone # is 954-968-0131.

Constant calls from 954-968-2051 --- a Florida phone number.
The message is either an Eastern European accent or a computer generated voice that always says DEFAULT MESSAGE.
No idea what they are trying to sell, promote or survey.
I am registered on the national do not call registry.

Twice rec'd call from 1-954-973-2114 & 1-954-917-1104 in June 2008 also saying "default message" either in machine-synthesized voice or spoken by someone whose first language is not English when answering machine picked up. I am registered with the "Do Not Call" registry. When I call back the number, I get busy signal or dial tone after it rings twice. Call coming from Pompano, FL.
I think it is some kind of scam.

Every few days for the last two or three months I've received annoying voice mail messages from this number, saying only "default message" either in machine-synthesized voice or spoken by someone whose first language isn't English. I'm also on the "Do Not Call" registry.

Call at dinner time with some bunk about a very important message about my car or truck's warranty. With a 1989 car and a 1994 truck they have been out of warranty for a LONG time. BUNK. I am on the DO NOT CALL list yet they call anyway.

voicemail time stamped 4:25 p.m. Jan. 24 -- one of many calls from 1-954-973. This one left a voicemail, heavily accented, saying "default message." We got one of these calls at about 2:30 one morning, which I guess was 7:30 a.m. in Florida.
