6-6-08 3:20pm EDT. Voice mail message: "Default call." Yes, as Rob said, person had an accent, but this one sounded like a former Soviet, and it was low.

Got exactly the same message as what Rob reported several times now.

I get this call weekly, if not 2-3 times a week from different numbers and different callerids. The calls I get all seem to be a low male Indian accent.
I have Vonage, wonder if the rest of you do. I also get the message from different numbers and caller companies all coming from Florida.

Got a call today - Male voice recording - Explaining that my car warranty was about to expire and if I wasnted to extend the warranty, they stated that I needed to press 0 to be connected to an operator or press 9 to be placed on a do not call list - shocker I pressed 9 and it stated it was an invalid key

Answering machine got it there was a long pause then a voice said "default message". The person speaking had what sounded like an accent I'd say India perhaps. Also voice was kind of high pitched.

Yep, I got "Default Message" (foreign sounding voice) then hangup several days running. Am also on do not call list.

The recording says to press 9 if you want to be removed from the call list, yet when you press 9, nothing happens. I get at least two phone calls per day. It's so annoying. I am trying to see if I can press charges. The same company has multiple phone numbers, including 954-977-3841, 954-971-2030.

6-6-08 3:20pm EDT. Voice mail message: "Default call" and hang up. Maybe they are "phishing" for the name that shows up in the caller ID when they call us.

I've gotten two voicemails from this number so far, both saying, as others have noted, "Default message" and a hangup. If i get this again, i may see about filing a report with the FCC regarding these people deliberately ignoring the National DNC List, which i am subscribed to.
The least they could do is record something for messages, instead of leaving "Default message" on half the country's answering machines.

Call saying that the warranty on our car or truck has or is about to expire. Press 9 to ignore or 0 to talk to an operator. When 0 is pressed, sit on hold for 15-20 seconds before the phone hangs up.
Don't know how they got our information, as the factory warranty on our vehicle has another 1 1/2 years and 15,000 miles, so we aren't close to it expiring.
